22 cm if you pressed the "Ranked menu" in the Profile yesterday it had a counter in hours which proved to be punctual as an Englishman. Apart from that, I have played 5 battles today (all in Shinonome) with 3 victories so far. Team mates feel pretty logical, however small the sample. Also in 5/5 battles there was a CV and it seems Air Superiority Ruyjos will gonna be a thing. From the five above battles, 4 enemy CVs were Ruyjos and 3/4 AS deck. Cheers

Dont really know man,my stats are pretty decent up to tier 9 and drop off significantly at T10, So I am pretty much in the same place as you. Dont know why this is happening.

I am under the impression that the captains will be unique, like you could use the Arpeggio girls only in ARP ships. Not sure though.

I will not argue that New Orleans -and to a lesser extent Baltimore- have their issues if you compare them to other nations cruisers of their tier. I.e. I would surely prefer Roon or Donskoi over Balti and Chapayev or Mogami over NO. But the radar they have and their AA capabilities can make them outstanding at parking behind islands , radaring enemy DDs and denying the air from the odd CV. You cannot , however, accuse Des Moines of having "low firepower". When angled it can be very tanky too for a cruiser. The "moon" trajectories can be an advantage if you use land masses between u and the enemy. As for maneuverability I think you are mistaken, US line is the more nimble in my opinion if u play a lot with the engine power.

Thnx man,glad to know that it improves even marginaly. However the overall playstyle will not change I guess, dont like very much the "always bow in" meta due to its turrets being all up front. Liked it in the Dunquerque a bit, but not at tier 9.

That extra turret in the back of the Montana gives u the ability to shoot 1 target in front with the front two turrets and 1 unsuspecting target at the right (or left depending) with the two back turrets. 2 x 6 shells salvos on two different enemies is very good stuff indeed. El2azer ' s answer for the Iowa was impeccable.

Dont have much experience in t10 BBabies, I have played around 30 battles in the Montana and 10 in the Kurfurst. But I have around 180 battles in t9 BBs (majority Friedrich) and above 300 in tier 8s (vast majority in Tirpitz). The trick I think is to play more patiently, always have DDs 4-7 km ahead ,always have cruisers around you and most of the times move at 1/2 speed pretty much head on. Dont overextend cause if 4 or 5 enemies focus you, your tanking ability goes to hell very fast. The limit between playing too aggresively and too passively is often thin. I generally feel much more at home when playing t7 battleships (Scharnhorst is a diamond) so maybe you should not worry too much about t10 and play lower tier where the game is more fun and less anxious. I hope da Yamato will be a huge upgrade to the Izumo, the latter's grind is painful. Still only a few battles in it and pretty much stock but I have a bad time with this ship. I ve played around 100 Friedrich and 70 Iowa battles and it is easily the worst of the three tier 9s. I am seriously thinking of free xp-ing it (I sit on 310 k free xp meant for the Missouri) if the grind stays painful for the next 10 games. Used to have a secondary built in the Friedrich but changed it to a more tanky / main armament built in the Kurfurst which I think works better. In the Izumo so far I use the tanky / main armament built also. In the Iowa/Montana I use an Air Defence / Stealth built. Cheers

Jesus man,you have 64% WR and 77 k avg dmg and ask advice from us plebes? :) You know what to do, either continue playing not caring much about the losses or take a few hours/days off to cool down. Last few months I play destroyers mainly and I agree with you that the avg players level is rather low, but that is the case for all classes not only for DDs. I try not to yolo rush,especially when without proper backup. The longer the DD survives , the higher the impact it may have in late game. Sometimes though u have to push, i.e. cause the enemy already has 2 cap circles, your team none and nobody is doing anything about it. Also I many times offer smoke to team mates, only to see most of them ignoring it completely and doing their own thing :). Lets hope in the upcoming Ranked on Friday , we will see more people that know how to handle the basics of the game. Will definitely give it a go for Ranked 1 this time,have never been above Rank 9 and I feel more confident this time around. Cheers

Hello fellows. I was very fond of Aslains WOWS modpack up to several months ago, I liked many of its extra features. Sadly when I had it installed, the game very frequently froze at the battle loading screen, especially when I was divisioned up. After uninstalling the modpack, the problem dissapeared.

Well,after 3 months of absence if you are looking for someone to (partly at least) blame for so many losses , I think a mirror would come in handy......

A,ok man, plane view could be interesting. Dont play Cvs much, around 3% of my battles but for a weird reason I enjoy CV youtube content. Cheers

What do you mean by 1st person view in a CV? View from the airplanes? View from the CV's deck? View in the mini map? I guess that the 3rd person view is the normal view when u play the carrier.

Dont give too much attention to whatever whoever writes in chat, sometimes it is more easy to communicate with primates. :) Not true all the time though,there are certainly courteous players which you could try to befriend and play enjoyable platoons together. Those being said, if I am not too mentally engaged in surviving or killing off the odd DD that tries to escape with 53 HP left, I do try to hit the TAB button to see if i.e. someone on my team is on 4 kills and going for the Kraken. The player base of the game is much more mature ( I think the average age is 43 or something) compared to WOT where u are easily team killed if you dont play according to the schizofrenic wishes of some of your "team mates".

Wow, US CV line has 45% in the poll? Would expect something around 5%. Have only few battles in CVs but - how things are currently- I think if two players of the same skill level meet, the guy driving the IJN has a big advantage. Cheers

My Pan Asian cpt has 16 points. I use 1.PM, 2.LS and EM , 3.SI , 4. CE and RPF Probably will spend 3 remaining points on Demoliton Expert but I am not sure yet. Cheers

Hello. My picks for 14 points are those. Prev. Maint. , Last Stand, Super Intend, . Concealment Exp. and RPF. For the next 5 points I would pick Adrenaline Rush and Faster torp reload. I dont use the Survivability expert much in my DDs (maybe I do a mistake) cause at tier 3 I find many skills I consider more important. RPF has worked fine for me , I have it in all my DDs with a 14 and above point captain. The skill gives you many possibilities for torp area denials, shooting inside enemy smokes with higher probabilities to hit etc. I even use it on the Des Moines (the only cruiser I have invested to RPF) which makes it a potent DD hunter with the radar at late game. Too bad Perth uses Commonwealth captain. The company should really fix that and unify the two lines captain wise , I have read in articles that a number of Canadian, South African and Australian ships actually had second generation (or even first in some cases) British captains during the war.

Currently at that stage too but will not make it in time, I think Aircraft Carrier is the way to go for this one.

I am expecting a third Soviet sub line of destroyers. I still remember the "Smelly" and "Project X" (or 56 or something) :) The British Battleship tree ofc. And either French Battleships or British destroyers? Would gladly skip over all of the above if there was the US Cruisers split to Heavies and Lights.

It is a few patches old indeed. The idea was to discourage players in the higher tiers from staying at the back and sniping, by making the excuse back then, "I dont want to take much damage so the cost of repairing will be less" redundunt. You can figure for yourself if the move was a success. :) (If u still see Yamatoes and Kurfursts lurking 8 km away from cap points, it was not a success). Cheers
