For me best built for this ship is a secondaries/tankiness hybrid. Priority Target Adrenaline Rush, Expert Marskman Basics of Survivability, Super Intendent AFT, Manual Secondaries Cheers p.s. For the love of it, not survivability expert on a BB, it is only for destroyers

From what I understood, if you play i.e. Normandie while it is "premium". you will not lose the xp accumulated during patch 7.1. If u have gathered enough xp, when 7.2 hits, you can use the xp to go to Lyon. " - You won't be able to advance up the line until Update 0.7.2 - once the update comes you will be able to spend your research points. " -
I think Atlanta is the definition of AA boat dude, doesnt it still have the infinite charges of DefAA? But from what I figure , u have specced it as a dmg dealer with the inertia fuse. Dont worry much about that achievement, I just played the game and it happened by itself. Cheers

I bought the 5 container pack this morning, the Bretagne mission was in one of them. Then played a bit with my clan mates (preparing for CW) and got 3 boxes from the first leg of missions, the Normandie mission was in one of them. I think you are wasting your time with AA cruisers, unless the enemy CV is completely demented, he learns at the first strike that above your ship is a no go zone, and never reurns his squadrons near you. It is exactly as you mentioned, CV exclusive. I only got it once in an Enteprise and it just happened cause the enemy Shokaku was sending all his strike planes packed together like sardines in a box. I just had to strafe them...

Hey dude, havent given it a try yet but I noticed a thing that looks rather strange. The DW torps have the exact same stats (range, max dmg, speed) as the normal ones and they can only hit BBs and CVs, they cant even hit cruisers. Unless I missed something big here, I dont get why someone would use the deep water varient over the normal ones. Cheers

0.7.1 installed and cant see the new missions

After installing today, I was given the new personal mission for the "french" containers. (the first leg of the 3 legged mission was kill 5 ships iirc) However after re logging 1 hour later, the personal mission had dissapeared. Good thing the test Graf Zeppelin personal missions was there. -
No, no , no shame at all dude, didnt like that map. Was quite odd to not be "mirrored" and the North spawn had a definite advantage of positioning. Plus if enemy was running 2 or more radar cruisers, it was game over.

Lowe is better than Tiger 2 nowadays for sure. Yes, that was the original concept of premiums, at least in WOT. Be a slight worse that the silver counterpart, but make more money plus good crew training. But in practise, new t8 prems in WOT are either stupidly OP or much weaker compared to their tech tree counterpart. There is the T55A, a t9 "prem" , but it is not really one, it is a reward for a campaign, no extra credit or crew xp boost.

@RAHJAILARI Can be also useful (priority target) in a BB, keeping in mind other info from minimap and from enemy's last known position, u can use/abuse it to know when u r being torped by a DD. Takes some practise, but it is not hard to achieve. Also use it on DDs like the likes of Khabarovsk , when u see the number going to 3, 4 and adding up, it is time to disengage. -
Probably March the 1st morning, we will have patch 7.2. So keep grinding untill Feb 28 late night

Why do people go the opposite from where they spawn?

Some caps are death traps. The game in all its wisdom spawns u next to one of them. Sometimes it is the best solution to just change flanks. Probably try to avoid it in BBs and definetely slow BBs llike mid tier US ones. Apart from that, it is not that bad of an option. -
Haha, I know dude, I just come from Tanks really and I keep my captains trained on the same class ships (in WOT u cannot do eitherwise).

For the hydro/cap contesting ability. Or if you just want a KM DD cpt trainer. I agree though, dont know for sure yet, but sounds like it is weaker than both Kidd and Yang. With the trb option in Kagero you must forget about the smoke, am I right?

Depends on the historical period you refer too, but from what I have read, that was not true at all. In the Middle Ages, only a core of aristocrats (knights) could afford full plate armours, most of the infantry were poor peasants with pitchforks and a wooden shield. Was the same with ancient Greece, the cost of a full hoplite armour (helmet,shield, shinguards, chest armour) was pretty high , so most of the infantry was fighting in cheaper leather armour and armed with bows or stone slingers. Maybe later in the 1600s (i.e. the Spanish Tercios) all infantry wore armour, which was a waste cause the first firearms had been invented.

You may be right indeed. I have read in the past Peter had a very good relationship with the Dutch, maybe cause of their naval warfare expertise.

Yes, the name is German. Peter the Great was an enthusiastic modernizer of Russia back then and he imported many craftsmen, engineers and the like from western Europe. Maybe the chief architect of the Kronstadt fort was German or Austrian or something similar.

65 knot torps every 90 sec (which can get much better with adrenaline rush/torp reload skill) is a thing. KM DDs are the IJN ones of '18 for me, pure torpedoe boats but with hydro and competent guns to use as a last defence weapon vs enemy DDs that get too close. Z52 was my favorite t10 for quite some time.
