a) Captains gain skill points way faster than Commanders in WoT, so basically you already have "accelerated crew training" from the start. How about playing a particular ship because you like it and because you want that t5 skill that likely will give you a huge advantage? b) So basically you need a bigger carrot and don't enjoy the game itself. You know there wasn't that amount of specials/missions and goodies in WoT before 2012/013 ;)

Idk - a month ago I'd have agreed...but I seem to hit citadels quite consistently, lately. RNG doesn't have that much of an impact, tbh. There are players that deal an average dmg of around 100k.

I suck @ playing 'murrican low-mid tier DD, too. But I won't blame WG for this.

It is not uncommon to receive ~5k xp on a x1.5 (with premium account). How would progressing even faster have a positive impact on the experience for players in the long run?

Patience is a virtue - the Brits won't be here anytime soon I guess. Mid/late 2016 maybe. In the meantime you have your Warspite (well *if* you were able and willing to buy it). Personally I don't think that the 'murrican tech tree is boring - can't say anything about the Japs, tho.

In my experience the NM crushes any Cruisers it runs into and can deal with it's IJN counterpart just fine. AP vs DD is just not that effective and that is the only reason BB are not as good vs DD since hitting them at close range isn't exactly hard. If you hit him with HE shells the result will most likely be a oneshot.

To some it's about moving pixels (why the [edited]would you pay for "moving pixels")? To others its the attempt of playing somewhat complex war games, hoping there will be some sort of strategical interaction with team mates who more often than not turn out to be screaming monkeys.

Had a game today, playing the Tirpitz...did 130k dmg, killed 3, confederate. Result: Draw because the other Tirpitz was afk and got killed 6 seconds before the timer ran out. Your everyday WoT experience. Why should WoWS be any different?

In WoT most of the time it's "bad" to cap (i.e. unnecessary) plus it often takes only a minute or two to kill off the remains while in WoWS it seems to be the other way around (imo) plus it often would take ages to hunt down the last enemy ships.

How about the rage coming from the guy that scored the most dmg, most kills, went back to reset the cap and watched his team fail and fall apart faster than you can say "choo-choo-train"? I understand those players very well.

XVM stats - ok, don't need that. XVM is more than XVM stats, tho.

Yep, the same - we didn't "create" or provoke this in any way but got stuck in queue for no obvious reason. Servers were kinda laggy that evening, tho (rare mini lags without any visibile ping or fps problems).
