That would be three of my ships Fletcher Budyonny Myoko Wanted to play the Myoko a lot next weekend to get concealment expert and for Budyonny it's only 20k captain xp for the next skill point so I guess it's in fact only one single ship. I hate this nonetheless.

So - do I understand this whole SA-thing correctly if I assume that everyone who used SA on a ship will receive a skill point for free (or maybe for doubloons which would be very costly) and everyone else will receive a skill (SA) for free? Example (spoiler): At 19 SP I could run a full AA setup with (1) bft (2) em (3) vigilance (4) aft, maa (5) plus concealment expert (?)

It seems you don't realize that a) He didn't play a significant amount of games with it. b) It's "easy" for good players to have relatively (those ratings (WN8 for example) are always relative) good stats in bad ships because bad ships amplify the badness of baddies. c) Just because he did well in those ships doesn't mean they suit you as well. What I'm saying is While I admire your dedication to have a nice e-peen you don't seem to be able to endure the inevitable losing streaks. One way to minimize those is to find yourself trusty platoon mates.

Yes - teamwork would be the answer if the majority of this player base was capable/interested of/in reaching OP's level of insight(*). And the game could be balanced around it - resulting in more diverse, interesting and challenging gameplay. * But this is not the case. - Still, teamwork is strong tactic. Strong like russian bear.

Idk - my full AA Cleveland shot down a ton of aircraft over the last weekend (11.4 average plane kills over 8 matches) but at the end of the day I want to shoot ships. Cleveland can do both - comparable AA capabilities, quite good armor and longer effective reach with main guns despite being able to camp islands. Also it can set fires without the need to pick demo expert. The Atlanta still is "perfectly fine" and "fun, fun, fun" according to some guys ;)

Yep, you are so good that WG has to re-balance you. Actually you mostly perform below average. But we've all been there.
