    Myoko lovers

    1) Not needed at all. Make your turrets rotate faster 10/10. 2) Obviously there is an advantage, especially now that you see your detection range on the map.

    Is Texas worth £17+

One more thing: Texas will be horrible to play once Scharnhorst is released (for a week maybe).
  4. Howdy, to cut it short: In World of tanks there are two kinds of crew attributes your earned xp can go into perks, that work like skills in WoWs (binary, on/off) skills, these gain effectiveness in increments of 1% Regarding the skills in WoT: They mean that every time you play the game you will likely make some kind of actual progress, i.e. the commander/tank combination becomes a tiny bit more effective. Now, I'm in the situation that my Cleveland captain has to get from 15 to 18/19 pts to become any more effective. That's a long road without any fix on the way. That said - it's obviously more attractive to have this kind of continuous progress (i.e. the "skill" system in WoT) later on*, when it takes ages to get to the next skill point. *Proposal (1): Thus, after reaching 15 skill points all remaining skills (that haven't been picked yet) become "skills" in the sense WoT does it. To reach 100% with any chosen skill at this point you'd have to accumulate the same amount of xp needed to reach that skill in the current version of the game. Is that even possible? Now - you could argue that this way players will gain a significant type of bonus (say: Concealment) a lot sooner than they do in the current form of the game. Well, the progress doesn't have to be linear of course but could be exponential - meaning you'd gain more the farther you get. This way there will be progress all the time but the actual effect will stay close to how it is now. And before I finish this wall of text, how about this. Proposal (2): A skill in WoWs should ~always have a percentage-based bonus that will be applied as shown above. Also it ~always has a "perk"-like bonus (with a special flavor) that only applies when the "skill"-type bonus reached 100%. This way we'd have the best of both worlds. Also this solves the problem shown above (spoiler) with Incoming Fire Alert, Superintendent and Air Supremacy. So, how do you think? Why is it that in World of Warships we effectively only have perks while in WOT there are two kinds of progress regarding the skill system? Do you agree that a more diverse system could increase the joy players get out of this skill system? Discuss!

Arizona's gun are considered to be very accurate and that in itself is very important to me.

+1/-1 can still be considered a fail divison, depending on what the MM does with it. I'd say +0/-0

    Is Texas worth £17+

I kinda regret buying it - not because it's a bad ship (it's great), but because a) shortly after the Texas they released the Arizona which I consider superior b) new MM Sometimes it's frustrating to not be able to react quick enough to what's going on (i.e. base defense etc) because of the speed. It's not a must-have. They'll release a couple new and interesting premium ships in the near future.

Go and play a tier 4 match, they seem to be flooded with CV ;) Can't complain about the tier 7 games I played today, tho.

Because it doesn't and because you didn't search the forum before starting this thread!
  16. That's the solution - if the Mikasa doesn't see any other ship she won't be useless anymore

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?

Scared an entire flank away from capping "a" by sitting behind some island and tickling everyone who got close. Sadly only an unlucky DD was brave enough. Gotta hate those games. Still good stats besides dmg because Atlanta is such a bad performing ship Maybe it wasn't entirely me who scared them, tho

    remove ARP captains

He said they are. Do you expect him to now say they aren't? I don't think it's of high priority tho...I don't care about this at all and I guess most players don't
  20. They all look great. Reminds me of the cake in my fridge

Should Atlanta be made a tier 6?

I'm not trying to stat shame but too often it's players who do really bad in the Atlanta who claim that it's a "beast". Since I know it's possible to do good in this ship I just want to separate the useful posts from nonsense (thus being able to learn from those who mastered the ship). Bought her yesterday myself (just couldn't hold back any longer ) and enjoy her since. The radar is really nice to have and once my platoon mate is back he can provide the smoke By the way: Since the flint came out it seems that DD try to smoke Atlantas quite often because it happened to me twice already!
  22. While I agree, a crosshair like this or just pure skill can help tremendously. But I guess we all ran into one of those suspiciously good players and according to WG it's not completly far-fetched to assume that some kind of "help" was involved, as unlikely it may be.
