You mean the very same Konrad Kujau that is known to have served a four and a half year prison sentence for the forgery of the 'Hitler Diaries', I'm sorry if you believe this 'H-44(B)' plan is legitimate then I also have a bridge you might be interested in buying.
-
Do share then because a H-44 hull with 80cm main batteries sounds like completely impossible nonsense to me. Even by H-class battleship standards which are already pretty wild when considering Germany's state of affairs and the feasibility of potentially building these things.
-
The 'design' you're referring to is a complete work of fantasy and not based in any sort of practical reality whatsoever, I recommend giving this a read; https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Talk:H-class_battleship_proposals#/H45_Does_Not_Exist

That and maybe Alabama I guess, she's pretty vanilla but decent enough
-
Realistically it's probably a mixture of all those factors, not just excessive performance and popularity. Massachusetts has been the go-to tier 8 premium BB for so long and now her availability is going to be limited people sitting on the fence about picking her up have to make a decision and some will just go "sod it" and head straight to the premium store.
-
It's really not so surprising, she's straight up overpowered and enormously popular compared to the other tier 8 BBs. Looking at data from the last 28 days on EU and NA shows this clearly enough.

The flag is the same resolution as the rest of the flags in the texture atlas. It's an unfortunate coincidence of memory saving and I'm sorry to say it's highly unlikely that this is going to change, especially just for one flag.

That is not an anchor chain. It's a chain for paravanes which is attached to the paravane skeg underneath the ship.

Kind of but not really, if you're thinking of the Hunt for the Bismarck camouflages then Bismarck's is reasonably accurate to her appearance following the Battle of the Denmark Strait where yellow paint had been hastily applied to her turret tops on her approach to France however the paint was washed off the secondary batteries and only adhered to the main battery turrets. Additionally the markings on the deck had been painted over prior to leaving Norway and would not have been visible. Hood's dark blue with light grey turrets and red turret tops is completely inaccurate to any paint scheme she ever carried. The only reasonably accurate camouflage Hood has is the plain grey which was only available in the most expensive bundle in the premium shop and even then the colours aren't that close to reality.

Which ship (new - not yet released in WoWs) would you instantly buy and why?

As much as I want Agincourt in the game (and that's a lot, I've been asking on and off since I started playing), tier VI is much too high for her. Realistically she's at best tier IV, maybe V at a push. Breaking it down, aside from her impressive number of main battery guns they are only 12" and fairly old guns at that - the same guns are carried by Mikasa and she only has two more rifles than Wyoming. In addition to that, while she would have a respectable chunk of health, her armour isn't particularly impressive and due to the size of the ship (she is quite long at 671ft) and amount of main battery turrets, her citadel would be quite enormous. Agincourt is also not particularly fast and her length means her turning circle is going to be pretty big though she was noted to be relatively nimble so a decent rudder shift time would be of some help at least. What really pushes her out of tier VI and even V is that, as a premium ship appearing in her historical configuration she would have, at most two 3" AA guns. Now imagine that matched against a CV, whether it be on her own tier or god forbid a higher tier - she'd be eaten alive. Main battery dispersion, reload time, turret rotation speed etc. can be adjusted to put her firepower into line, though it really isn't a massive leap over what already exists around tier IV. Additionally it'd probably be more reasonable to assume that Agincourt would be more AP focused like Warspite and Thunderer rather than having the HE focus of the RN BB line though either focus could be balanced and adjusted so it's not too insane. -
Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"

I'll try and make it clearer for you. Initially Oklahoma has horrendous penetration that was much lower than New York, Wyoming etc. This was when she first appeared on the live server for testing during patch 0.9.8.x. Unless it happened in a micropatch, I don't recall Oklahoma's penetration ever being buffed slightly during the 0.9.8 cycle. The devblog I linked, whilst not giving any specific values details changes that were to be made in patch 0.9.9.0 (which we got on last week on the 1st October). With this patch, Oklahoma's penetration was buffed massively to the values we have now. Many people for whatever reason didn't seem to notice Oklahoma's changes listed in that particular devblog for whatever reason and are unaware that Oklahoma's pen was buffed at all in the last major patch. I don't know what the reasoning for the penetration nerf will be but I don't expect it to be any more than reducing it to the same level as New York and Texas. -

No it isn't, this is the pen buff that was just introduced with 0.9.9.0. -
The values you saw on the fitting tool were the values for the liver server as it was at the time i.e. 0.9.8.0/1. The dev blog details changes that were made when we got update 0.9.9.0 the other day and so the fitting tool is now updated to match the current live server, showing the new values. You cannot see devblog changes on the fitting tool until they have been applied to the live server.

It was in this devblog that her penetration was being increased to what we have now though it didn't say by how much; https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/77 -

Given that Oklahoma's penetration was only just increased to levels above that of New York and Texas at all ranges in the last patch, maybe wait and see just how much of a nerf it is before losing your mind? I'm guessing it won't be anywhere near the previous levels of penetration she had. -
Fair enough, I personally scan through the subheadings first and read on from what catches my eye. Obviously numbers would be better rather than an arbitrary "increased/decreased" though unless a point of comparison was also included, adding the new penetration values would be equally useless to the average player/reader unless they then went to wowsft or wherever to get their own point of comparison.
-
That's true enough. At the same time it makes little difference in the grand scheme of things when people aren't even aware that her penetration was buffed in the first place, as evidenced by the responses regarding the most recent penetration change and @Captn_Crap's own comment "They must have increased the AP penetration in the meantime without mentioning it in the Dev Blog."
-
No, they did mention it in the dev blog but most people seemed to not notice or completely ignore that bit of information for whatever reason. Here's a link to the blog in question; https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/77 Right between Paolo Emilio and FDR.

As of right now Oklahoma's penetration is higher than that of New York and Texas at all ranges following the last patch.
