Possibly, either way it's quite interesting
-
It's possible they're for passing out deck gun ammunition from inside the conning tower to the crew on deck.

No problem, if you get any problems let me know and I'll try and sort out the textures for you to download and work with
-
Ah you need to get the other textures with the .dd0 extension and rename to .dd0 bit to .dds. WG has basically started adding LOD textures, better loading times etc.
-
Which .dds files in particular are you looking for?

Update 22/11/18: All mods are now updated and working for Update 0.7.11.0 both here and on my subreddit
-
Only for transport. How do you propose they launch them? Ohkas were carried under planes such as the G4M2 and dropped during mid-flight, not launched off the deck of Aircraft Carriers.
-
Kamikaze attacks were launched from land bases, not from Aircraft Carriers.
-
Yes, at some point, I'll probably get a Dreadnought skin done then I'll have to take a break again, got too much university work to do.

Update 17/11/18 Added HMS Vanguard skin to post #1: HMS Vanguard, Pattern 507C paint scheme, 1946-1960.

I don't personally believe she fits at tier V, tier IV is a much better fit for her. Aside from the large amount of firepower in her main batteries she only has two more rifles than Wyoming and they are fairly old guns, the same as those on Mikasa (after she was regunned) and Kawachi. One of the main things that holds her to tier IV over V is the complete lack of AA - two 3" guns at the most. Combine that with the size of the ship and how large her citadel would be, the fairly low speed and generally poor armour and you get a ship that would be completely outclassed at tier V.

HMS Agincourt pls WG

Update 18/10/18: All mods are now updated and working for Update 0.7.10.0 both here and on my subreddit
-
I don't know what exactly changed, only that you need to update all the skins you have by downloading and installing them again
-
Roma is winning more games, doing more damage and killing more than it's dying when compared to the North Carolina. I don't know where you're getting the idea that NC has more influence over a battle than Roma from looking at that image.
-
Stacked up against the other Tier VIII BBs, Roma seems to be performing perfectly adequately in winrate, damage, experience etc.

Update 25/09/18: Added missing X Turret texture to USS Arizona skin.
-
Ah, WG must have changed a texture and I missed it. I'll have that fixed later today. Thanks for letting me know.

Update 24/09/18: All mods are now updated and working for Update 0.7.9.0 both here and on my subreddit I recommend that you delete the entire contents of your ...\World_of_Warships\res_mods\0.7.9.0\content\gameplay folder and reinstall all the skins that you want again as I had to update every single skin and most of the files within them. I have also reorganised the format of the skins in my posts on the first page to a more logical format with the skins for each nation being grouped together.

I'm working on a fix currently, should have everything sorted this evening or tomorrow

HMS Dreadnought and HMS Vanguard: The First and the Last.
zFireWyvern replied to Killerbin34's topic in Battleships
I'll be dealing with that, don't you worry. -

It is a real destroyer moored alongside Scharnhorst, it's Z15 Erich Steinbrinck. The photo is from 1943 and without the destroyer alongside and the canvas that has been put over the tops of the main battery guns Scharnhorst's actual paint scheme looked like this; -
Has there already been a "what the **** is this thing on my ship" thread?
zFireWyvern replied to FixCVs_Nautical_Metaphor's question in Q&A Section
They're propeller guards. Because the propeller extends outside the beam of the ship's hull the guards are added so that the propeller cannot strike things such as harbour walls.- 1 reply
