    Because you are bad pizza. I love the polls that goes "how satisfied are you with the game?" just so I can press "extremely dissatisfied" if any of the following elements are in the game. CVs! Smolensk Thunderers or Conquerers (if they sit at 20km+ and fling HE all game, probably wondering why they did an amazing 100k+ damage, everyone else died and noone on their team capped) If noone of the above, a "mediocre" can be given!
  2. Good choice. I started a factorio-pyanodon 2 months ago, i think i'll focus more on that. Probably I'll reset the few captains I have used.

    That IS the idea after all. You never should have to begin with :D That said I already wrote a rather negative steam review after the CV rework and will not encourage new people to play this game.

    Yeah, why aren't the old "AA ships" buffed into "painful levels" of AA? Des Moines, Worchester, Minotaur.. even Montana had good AA before. All of these ships can be pissed on by CVs.

    For a bit larger fee, the "Battle" button can be changed with "Win!" button in port. And you dont have to actually play the game anymore! win-win...

    It's a pointless argument. You might as well add one additional DD pr side instead of the CV-abnormal-cell-growth and your DD is good and their DD is crap to get a chance to recover.
  10. How about we also remove hitpoints of all ships, reload timers for guns and torps? It's going to be grand! Minimap is clearly almost a cheat... only the minority uses it after all! Maybe we could fix chat after 3-4 years of barely-working...

    indeed, if it is just enough to compensate for weaving and turning, it's indeed nice. I think I put Yamamoto on Zao actually, since I'm not a huge fan of Yamato itself.

    My experience is that if your aim is really good you can win with any DD aganst people who clearly can't aim too well. I do get the feeling Dazzle helps, but if we make the assumtion that +20% dispersion counts as being 20% further away,.. its not that different if you're at 6km and it counts as 7km. I still think it's most useful for the load of crap that comes from everyone else behind :P A flat bonus or a mix would be better. As a random example for increased torp speed: +5 knts and +2% from base speed on top.

    This is my experience too... Especially useful on DDs that either go in for short burst of combat to kill other DDs. Maybe it makes less effect on close, but my guess it has rather noticable effect on all the extra crap one gets from cruisers and BBs.

    Clearly! lets assume they were of the T-34 quality. Nice design and easy to mass produce but I can imagine warships with poor welding and 5cm gaps between the plates!

    I was wondering what people think about Dazzle skill. According to Mouse, it's the worst of the worst. The main arguments to me are "It gives the potential for shells to miss but it does not guarantee it" and "Short of the game actually telling you what shots were specifically deviated, you're just going to have to take it on faith that this skill works." Wouldn't the arguments be the exact same for deadeye, which gives even less effect, but this skill is praised to the moon and back?

    Distance / speed = time so if the regular setup will be 1/1 = 1, lets increase speed by .15 and see. 1/1.15 = 0.869565 This means a 15% increase in speed will give a 13.04% decrease in time. In your examples the Zao goes from 36 sec to 31.3 sec which is 0.869444.. of original time (or 13.05% decrease in time) and the Huanghe goes from 25.7 to 22.4 which is 0.871595 (or 12.84% decrease in time) the difference in the final reduction is 0.002151 or a 0.2151%-point difference, probably due to rounding. Looks exactly as it should be expected.

    Why would anyone need information about own ships?? I mean it's not like your engineroom would tell you when you're about to stop making smoke or whatever... I'd really LOVE if WG could pass through the wording on skills such to make it less ambiguious. Maybe a small "i" button one could click on (for the more interested) where the exact calculations (IFHE and the increased sector reinf skill)

    I guess you clearly didn't play WoT :P There's never a rollback, its just "tweaking" until it "kinda" works... or people get bored of complaining.

    I tend to play it trying to be on the border of my spot range while firing AP as often as possible (lets say 50->95% of a match). Seems to be okay. It's obviously easier to stay closer as the match developes and the more stealthy ships die off. As long as one can surf on the spot edge with deadeye, it'll be good with AP too. I do regret that they introduced BBs where HE is the "preferred" ammo.

    Why? I see no reason so far. As you could exchange "CV" with "BB" and it would fit in regards to CV rework :P True, we're not here to have an enjoyable game and kick behind, but to purposely piss off people. Never been more happy to see a steelship I own get shafted by an update
