We have decided to keep this feature, as it would be too difficult for players to understand why torpedoes go where players aim. or the original: why hydro and radar goes through land: it would be too difficult for players to understand the mechanics if they don't go through land.

so what you're saying is that given your skill and "fair" MM, you should have had 79% average. right ok. Well then. Show us those 1000 screenshots (in a row, not cherry picked one by one)

I forgot to mention: In randomness, rows/spikes/clumping of results ARE supposed to happen. Lack thereof would be more suspect. If you can repeatedly show it correlates with premium for example, then it "might" be interesting.

Are there? Did you hit section? if Yes -> Is it already burning? if No -> roll chance to burn (burn chance of shell(with skills) minus various preventions) Did I miss something?

This is an issue for most of us I suspect, to various degrees of course. I consider to install MMM mostly to see who I can trust (like will they react if I smoke them or just sail through it), but I so far decided against it, spesifically to avoid any self-fulfilling profecy. Let assume I end up 1 on 1 with a randomly chosen player. Lets pick @Jaki_AJK. I see he's way better than myself, so I end up chosing to either YOLO and dying or playing too passive and he kills me. Instead of making my best go at him and possibly killing him! I'll keep considering it though since the I-ignore-your-helping-smoke guys are so annoying....

Not just steady, but his most recent games are over his average. Meaning pretty good increase. Clearly unfair though and WG hates his guts.

I'm not lucky either, because I don't buy them nor play lottery. Why? because these things are designed to come out worse than "fair" chance I tend to say that people who play the national lottery in my country are people who don't know math and they enjoy paying extra taxes.

The problem is then it would be spesfically against YOU, since noone else notices anything. And abnormal doesn't mean it's not random. Lets go back to the lottery. if the chance to win is lets say 1 to 1 000 000 000, following your argument, then noone should win because it's abnormal. Yes you can be lucky/unlucky.

Strongly advice you to watch this. It might be useless if one doesn't have a the most basic grasp of statistics though.

I meant lifetime MM obviously, not indiviual games. and you know what, if every second game was having game 1: strong team, and game 2: weak team..etcetc THEN we are talking 100% non random and rigged.

Yeah, you did consider that about 50% of the players will have worse-than-average MM? while about 50% will have a better-than-average MM

1 - it's perfectly possible to fool oneself with your 1000+ battles. You are clearly not humble enough to realise that we ALL make confirmation bias. This is why science (and claims like yours) need hard data. 2 - even IF the cointoss is completely fair (50-50) you, me or someone else might end up being lucky and unlucky you know. Probably there's some complete noob who got so lucky with his MM that he won 100 games in a row, yet being just mr average.

of course luck comes into the picture? do you really fail to grasp it? its just a 50% and 0.00001% is still luck, its exactly the same thing, just with different probabilities.
