I'm mostly sad that superships dont come with super AA ;) but hey what a surprise....
-
Not at all, its no the "sole purpose". It's something that I spend about 2 seconds on during the countdown in which we can do very little. I'm also a very kind and social type ingame, so I enjoy chatting with teammates. Since we both agree that the windowlickers would usually not notice, it helps to announce it! There are quite enjoyable games without CV (occationally also with Cvs, when they are flaklickers or just dont hang on my flank) That said, I do have other long term time sinks going. As spring approaches its time to do more physical exercise also. You never know when you suddenly are drafted to the home guard anymore!

No doubt there are people that react like you. It can't be helped. But by pure statistical chance, there will be people who react the other way. Griefing me or not is not relevant, I usually make the report while the clock is ticking down.
-
Technically you are correct. But as long as one CV player gets annoyed (and we have both seen this happen by posts here), it is well worth the effort.
-
Think about the poor people like me who usually play until I run out of reports for CVs (or excessive whiners/afk'ers). We really need more than 11 reports if we should be able to play more than 2 games now...
-
Just think how many sub fans will flock to the game and pay their monitos to play this amazing shiptype!
-
what do you think about the revised submarine gameplay?

I sincerely hope you are well paid. -
Same here, so having to do all the CV reporting detracts from the others. It's really a pity. WG should give us more placebo reports to feel good edit: I love this thread! especially first post!

I hope that Dasha is OK and return soon <3

When a game (or anything else) needs a very attractive person to sell their crap, its usually crap. -
Superships to Appear Permanently in the National Tech Trees
Nibenay78 replied to farko1's topic in General Discussion
As long as it comes with 10km AA and 5000dps, I'm good paying whatever. Edit: I assume it's WiP but a quick google leaves me with the impression Edgars AA is nothing special. -
Superships to Appear Permanently in the National Tech Trees
Nibenay78 replied to farko1's topic in General Discussion
The only supership i really played was annapolis. I see no reason to play DM again ever. And I will enoy playing based mostly that it has better AA. Can we have super minotaur also? With super AA instead of anemic AA. -
I'd say the worst part is that if you face some complete noob in any other ship, he will probably either just be irrelevant or you'll just get rid of him. This goes even in BB vs DD, because they either fire the most obvious torpedoes OR they fark up and get too close all the time. If some noob CV decides to get you, you can never get rid of him, and depending what you play, the incessant spotting is not irrelevant. Especially late games when sneaking up on someone in a BB could be a do-or-die moment for the match. I agree there are limits to this, but on the other hand, see above. And the unicum player can't do crap about it. It will always be one more plane coming.
-
At least newbie BBs yolodie and are removed, or long range snipers are effectively out of the battle. A newbie CV can always ruin the fun with his incessant spotting.

USS "Sad Diego" - "AA cruiser by the way"
Nibenay78 replied to AceKiller301's topic in General Discussion
Seeing that amazing dps and massive flak walls, I am sure the planes will crap themselves in fear... -
Wild guess: Most of the 122k was to the other BB? Although that'd probably not give a #1 spot either...
-
I still think GK is the biggest noob trap in this game..
-
My first observation is that I'm so happy there is some sort of punishment for being effectively AFK. That said, if it's actually hard to get "a" hit during an entire match (with a class that does everything to ensure that first strike always lands hits) then maybe just consider that CVs might not be your thing...

Thunderer and Conqueror always in the back.

WG likes it like this. Keeps people who dont know how to BB alive and feeling they are doing something useful! -
Thunderer and Conqueror always in the back.
Nibenay78 replied to Corpsetaker's topic in General Discussion
Clearly at the start pretty much no ship can brute force it's way to the front without being focused the crap out of. Clearly some ships are more resillient than others. Neither means a less resilient ship can't chose their fights and MUST hang back at 20km at every moment in the game. I think I did, and like with all BBs there are moments to be closer and moments to be further away. -
Thunderer and Conqueror always in the back.
Nibenay78 replied to Corpsetaker's topic in General Discussion
Works fine, when you chose your moment. They are clearly not meant to take all the crap in the game, but that doesn't mean they have to be played at max range. Like all ships really.. -

I'd be fine with a massive reduction of their HE shells. In return I can have 1km better concealment on thunderer... -

I read this as: We all know WG does not reward fun and engaging gameplay -
Thunderer and Conqueror always in the back.

Low concealment and surprise AP salvos makes it more fun (and influential) at 13km... -
Ranked battles too much loss in row are something is changed?

Usually pick up montana and kick arse - it always helps. -
Halland front gun not shooting when pointing forward.
Nibenay78 replied to BanzaiPiluso's topic in General Discussion
3 hull lengths is basically firing straight with almost no elevation. From my (poor) memory, it has to be quite some distance away to get enough elevation to fire straight ahead. It's reasonably easy to check after all, if my (still poor) memory serves me right, this distance is way more than normal spot ranges
