Annapolis is freely available for silver for any player. This ship does not require premium or dubloons to own or play. It is not a premium ship. I never said subs are OP, why do you attribute this to me? Did I post any BBs? Where do you see this? So BBs and Cruiser results are only a result of luck? How about the last battle where I had no DD on my flank but the enemy had against me? Must have been really bad luck for them.... I posted in the detailed battle report for each. Have a look again. I report both teams subs, I'm fair. I'm very polite, I don't do hate speech generally. It would get me chatbanned you know. Because few plays them. Its the only thing we can say for sure. if every second battle has 3 people that likes them, that is still 3 out of 48 players. A whooping 6.25% - meaning 93.75% are either indifferent or dont like them. We are not supposed to discuss subs in this topic, there is a 108 page long sub discussion topic. If the number it too small it's pointless. Like flipping a coin once and declaring it falls 100% on tails. I don't want to believe your eyes, I want hard numbers. I don't feel bad for this, I feel bad for people who think 5 games represent any kind of proof of anything. Don't flatter yourself so much, this suggestion has been said on this forum since WG even mentioned subs. It's nothing new. Your input was irrelevant. We can discuss opinions, but since your arguments are stuff like "people are brainwashed", "play 5 games and see" or "we see few golden ranked players" - without having the faintest idea how many actually plays and how many actually tries to reach gold, it's completely irrelevant. It's like trying to discuss with a 10 year old child.

So just because something exists it's realistic? Nukes are realistic. They have been used on ships too, although not in wartime. All the paperships should be removed, they are unrealistic. I will give it a go if you provide me of all the numbers I asked for earlier. I don't think so either, but that doesn't mean the subs make it MORE fun and enjoyable for me. Yes they might do that, but I'm more inclined to believe they will earn more from new players to compensate for the old players that leave. Probably they have already sucked all the money they will get, from an older player. I have played subs, I didn't like it - PROOOOOOOF THAT AT LEAST ONE SUB PLAYER DONT LIKE SUB!

I was ironic - I don't think many wants to play Nibenay-nukes-everyone-mode (in fact not even I would enjoy it) It's not relevant how extreme it is or how realistic it is. Wows base game is inherently unrealistic. My point was that not every addition is a positive one for the majority of the players.

Not REALLY sure that the division part will be extremely useful in this case But I am also 100% sure that at minimum 1 player (probably of the younger variant) would absolutely love to mass annihilate others by the click of a button. Thus we can be certain that nuke-mode will have an interested audience.

I would love to have ballistic nuke armed ship that kills the entire enemy team by the click of a button and make me win. Every time! Nothing the enemy can do about it! I really think it would be fantastically fun and noone can take that opinion away from me! I'm not entirely sure many would agree with me that it would be an amazing game...

I can make a proof now that I have reached gold several times, but I've been enjoying killing newbies in Annapolis in random and only played some ranked. It is theoretically possible to do indeed, but neither you nor me can make a good estimate how many battles are required to participate in by an AFK player. It might indeed be not realistically possible simply by the time of ranked being too short to realistically play the expected number of battles. Of course if we "upgrade" a player from AFK to "really bad player", they might occationally/rarely get a #1 placement and thus save a star and improve on the expected number of battles. An extremely weak proof (almost irrelevant) as we don't know how many play ranked (or reach golden). I have RL friends that only bother to play bronze for example as they want some steel, but don't find ranked format fun and stop at the "easier" level, despite most likely being able to reach #1 in golden with some effort. I don't know why you insist on picking small numbers like 5-6? It's pathetically small to make any sort of proof. edit: I forgot to answer this: yes most likely it will be down (stuck at 10). Get 10 000 players to do this and some will go up, more will go down. Statistically. I will agree that it's extremely unlikely - which is not the same as saying it's theoretically impossible. They generally give a good indication about a players competency in this game, of course its not perfect, but as mentioned you can see the recent stats also, not just overall. To say "your stats sucks thus you are wrong" might not be a very kind thing, but having good/bad stats also does show the level of understanding the game/ships/situations to a noticable degree. It's like saying my opinion about various mechanics in golf is as good as Tiger woods'. For the record I have used a golf club for about 30 minutes. I'm allowed to have as many opinions as I want, but I truly believe people would put more weight on what the other guy says about golf. Believing is best done in church. If you have a good argument people will accept it. I have not seen many good arguments really, mostly that you don't believe in statistics and seem to think that "popular opinion" is bad regardless what it is based on.

My opinion is that your opinion is wrong! Because everyone can become rank 1 in gold simply by joining and being afk? It will probably take a lot longer than a 65% player doing their best every game though. Winrate is not perfect but it certainly tends to be an obvious difference if you are dead and you start to spectate a 40% and a 65% player. And if you want to know the more realistic (recent) WR it's also pretty easy to find...
