Since I have an RX 5700xt in a too smol case paired with a ryzen 7 5800x I went the way to cap the FPS for WoWs at 72 fps (I think that is called "radeon chill" in the drivers settings, set minimum fps to 60, max to 72) my display can't do more than 60Hz anyways- so the rig stays well within temp and noise range. PS: stay away from vsync setting ingame and for god sake don't enable triple buffering

My questions may sound stupid but I found no answer * why are you referring to those ARP somethings as "she" - are ships female? * What is that about those strange abbreviations? DD for damage dealer sounds ok, but BB for Battleships when there is only 1 "B" in it? why are Cruisers not "CR" or something like that? * how can I detect torpedoes earlier with my new york? I tend to see them 1-2 seconds before impact and then it's much too late to turn * Why are people hovering at the edge of the map when the battle is somewhere else?

Ich finds schon ganz angenehm, mit meiner New York auf 18 km snipen zu können, aber mir gefällts auch besser, mitten im Getümmel zu sein.

Jaaa, Blood & Gore! Das vermisse ich bisken bei den Panzern. Allerdings wäre es dann erst ab 18, dann fällt ja die Hälfte der Zielgruppe weg.

For me there are sometimes too many islands there, I often set my ship ashore while trying to shoot stuff *edit: I had a total open ocean map some weeks (months) ago. does that still exist?

Thanks for all the info. will try to put that to work with my freshly bought new york. only problem I have at the moment is torpedoes. (apart from actually hitting stuff) I see them 2 seconds before impact which makes it quite a gamble if I am already turned into the right direction or not
