    Its not my Opinion, but WGs, so in a good soviet fasion we are not allowed to question that: We're now sure that submarines in their current state fit well into the World of Warships gameplay and are ready for the next step—their full release in the game.

    Congratz, probably you put more time to this workflow than WG into reading feedbacks. Also dont forget that release is not so simple ... its a 2 step process now. Early access , with lootboxes and only after 2 patch you should release the new hated feature.

    Probably the only solution would be a total boycot to the game, like when 0.11.9 hit the live servers with submarines, we should stop playing for a whole week. It would screw the MM so the early access submarine guys wouldnt be able to play randoms due to the low population and high queue times Probably it would get quite some attention if the boycot is widespread enough WG need to react to it somehow Profit PS: Im sure Step 3. will be WG lie to us again its their style

    Half true. The subs really arent a big deal when it comes to dmg , they are good spotters and nearly impossible to kill if the sub knows what he does ... i tried the subs for like 12 games & only died once, the ASW is a bad joke and the camo is just too OP.

    Suggest a DD line

    They are already in the port and are one of my favourites :) T8-10 are all keepers on that line, and Lightning is my all time favourite. I was looking for the next line to pick up. And many seem to have recomend the PA and the EU lines sofar. French Italian and the Z-52 line also got a few recomendations. And people seem to put the Russians and the Elbing line into the avoid group.

    @Seraphice Did WG ever considered adding a float plane to the Goliath ? Surrey to Drake the RN CAs all have this spotter plane which at least in my opinion is a key tool for their gameplay and it felt like a great investment to build the RN CA cpt into "Eye in the Sky", it feels odd that the Goliath doesnt have it and it feels like a downgrade from the Drake. It would be really nice if the floatplane would be added to the Goliath too as it would make the line more consistent to play, and you wouldnt be losing a key asset when moving from T9 to T10.

    When will WG nerf the goddamn subs ... last game i spent 7 minutes fighting a submarine , i hit it with 12 depth charge and 6 234mm RN HE ... he still seen the end of the game alive. This is [edited] how tanky they are ... in 7min i would have wiped out a Hannover twice over but not that goddamn Balao.

    Tbh i havent bothered much with the IJN torp boats , i played trough the Shira and the Hatsuharu and i really didnt like them at all, also tried the Kagero but i had the same problem with it, the guns are really uncomfortable to use as they turn very slow and reload slow aswell, and the torps doesnt feel better than the ones found on the Fletcher. Probably they are still decent ships just the baked in drawbacks make them uncomfortable to play for me.

    My guess based on the stats is that they are decent boats, or at least SAP broadside and DPM seems pretty strong in them ( And SAP is a blast to use both on Venezia and F Sherman) , and the consumables seem strong too ... but they seem really cpt skill intensive ( i cant see them working with less than 14 pt cpt) and high risk to make them work, and even if you got that covered it seems like a pretty high player skill floor boat too. But thats just my guess as a veteran player , but a rookie on DDs.

    Mostly I plan to play at my usual MM range of T8-10 , and as i can see the Italians up there are really specialise into a hit and run tactic and their consumables to make the ambush work, and that is completly different than that screening role i usually do on my USN and RN DDs, so probably i wouldnt go right into that different tactic. Is ther maybe a DD which could work as a transition between the 2 tactics ? Maybe a totally different experiance but the USN lines were a good transition line for me from the usual CA style to learn how to play CLs, as some of the old skills like still having CA armor and 203mm guns made it easier to adjust from open water kiting to this island crawling shell lobbing tactic. Is there any other line or DD who shares similarities with the ITA line but the thing learned on the alied DDs still aply on them, or ships who share similarities in handling and camo to the ITA DDs but have a tactic which is less risky ?

    So the Grozovoi and the Delny are both not too decent ? Also i often see players praising the Marceau, would the regular FR line be a good example and trainer before i actually decide if i want to drop that 177k coal on a Marceau or they are completly different beasts ? Yeah i had a feeling that the Elbing line is somewhat lackluster for the DD role as it takes a DD slot up and looks like a CL to me, but the Italians suprised me that they are on the avoid list. As i can see the PA DDs and the Halland are the ones to be recomended. Which ones fits better for the curent meta ?

    2015-2018 was the best period for the game. Personally I would say that low tiers is the most pain , double CV is pure fustration when AA is non existent , and DDs seem to own the games. T9-10 i totally agree with your opinion, but T7-8 are probably the sweet spot with plenty of decent F2P ships like Sinop, Vladivostok, North Carolina for BBs , Lightning, Benson for DD, Myoko , CM , Cleveland Baltimore Fiji for cruisers. But yeah if you pick a wrong line it is pure hell to grind to the top.
  21. There are 2 of this type: Hindenburg, I like it i do pretty well in it just somehow it only works in ranked & not in randoms. Georgia, sometimes it is really fun & i do great in it ... but other times the 457s just troll me and i end up overextended due to the speed buff and 2nd guns.

    Short Ranged Cruisers

    Guys can someone give some tips on the short ranged cruisers for the current meta ? I just dont seem to understand how to play stuff like Drake or Sejon in the current meta... Early on it seems like the ships cant even engage the enemy due to the pityfull ranges , and if I win i get really bad dmg numbers ... if the enemy actually push into me and i can deal decent dmg that is a good chacne that it will end in a landslide lose and nice dmg for me. Is there even any point for this 2 lines or just unlock T10 and play it twice a year for the rewards. Des moine has similar troubles but that ship at least has a radar to at least usefull for the team in the early game, still the Rusky ships has even that and good long range firepower and armor, but at least Desmoines seem like high risk high reward with the dpm, boosted AP and the long duration radar. The Drake and the Goliat seems like some Tesco Budgettm version of UK BBS, and the Jinan seems like a 1 trick pony for camping as hard as possible.

    Nice round! Other than the Harbin i liked the line too sofar , the guns are indeed a bit hard to hit on stuff other than BBs on long range. So overpen protect this boat too ?

    Yeah the coal and fxp ships are pretty well balanced to each other ... guess if we would do the same with tech we would easily find stinkers.

    I have the same tought on the modules with the floaty shells that accuracy doesnt really help, but i also drop the reload module for the torpedo one, the fire setting seems good enough without the extra reload too while throwing even more fish when the enemy decide to push might pay off, but i base that mainly on my experiance with playing the Gearing with the Fletcher torps and going for the best reload. Also i want to have a somewhat different role for this boat than the Smolensk. The best would be a 22pt cap .. but 21 is max and i want to fit DE, FTT and SE for sure, maybe i try a build with dropping SI, usually i dont run out of smokes & i dont think on a fragile hull like that i can make use of an extra heal on top. Maybe something like this:
