Tell that to subs going 27kts under water ... WW2 Type VIIs had 7kts under water, its more in line with the 2000s Virgina Class submarines in terms of speed-

well thats 6 guns same as if you stay fully angled in the Agir ... but with worse dmg/ shell , bit better reload and with pen what was already inadequate on T5. Dont get me wrong Agir is a avg ship at best and it was already outdated and weak compared to Alaska the moment it was added to the game , but this thing seems far worse than that. The guns on the Schröder is not in the same league as the guns on Brest, Alaska or even Agir, in terms of penetration the 180mms on the Nevsky is better from 8km and further( Yellow is Nevsky pen , Blue is Schröder). -
Nah .. WG only care for Gross Profits ( They avoid tax anyway in Cyprus) . Early access is in 0.11.9 , so probably in 2 patch you can buy your idiotically OP griefer submarine for around 12k doublon or 40ish EUR/USD ( If Von Der Loser and the EU make things even worse the prices might go up even more )

Now explain the T-61 :P , it is German and make other T6 DDs look like a bad joke. Or the Ohio ... which is free and probably the best T10 BB. Yeah basically you pick a medicore German CA , nerf its main guns to the ground, remove the torps & add it a tool what CAs cant even spec into ... unless WG rework the Cpt perks this thing will make the Kronstadt look OP -
Zao got powercreeped pretty hard, and i wouldnt recomend playing it over other HE focus cruisers, but if you want to play Zao at least grab the Legendary Module for it, with that at least you will have pretty much unmatched accuracy, and a pretty decent rudder to dodge. The 17.5km range is pretty meh, but with the "Eye in the Sky" perk and spoter plane you can overcome it if the situation calls for it. The torps are mostly just there for are denial ( send them into a narrow pass, smoke or cap & hope it hits something), the guns load slow and rotate slow , but they will have great accuracy, shell speed and hit pretty hard, so just kite out and spam that HE , if you get too much attention just stop shoting and 9.9km camo will get you vanished in 20 sec ( unless CV decide you need to die :p). I run something like this on mine, tough i mostly play the Henry IV or the Venezia instead of Zao, they do the same job just better.

Well if you end up spotted there its like showing full broadside to 3 BB in a Neptune ... you deserve to instant die. Like seriously if someone has more IQ than WR% you would most likely not even get spotted in a sub in most of your games, so all they got is guessing with the marker.

Northern Syria too , but its all fine its not in Europe , so it is allowedit is only against international law if its done in Europe, the middle east is non stop invaded Ottomans, British, Soviets, Americans (2x), Turkey ... its the natural state of the region , just bevare the Toyota+Dshk combo. As for the Turkis DDs.. The Turkis DDs will be same as the PA line, mostly made out of UK and USN ships, but if WG make them fun they will be a nice edition to the game ( and probably better money for WG than what another USN DD line bring).

Your Guide to Reworked Operations

I see no point in doing the Operations other than grabing the SC . The rewards are very low.... even on a good game its like 1500 bxp, so it is not good to farm fxp or cpt xp. And you need a really niche CL to have a shot at doing it , so its not even good to grind past the crap boats. Playing a DD is not viable in this mode eighter, bots are just too accurate and too many they will grind you down over time. I will spam the Mainz for the 15.000 bxp a week just to get the SC and im done. -
Sofar i mostly played Cruisers and Battleships, and only done 3 DD lines: Gearing, Daring, Harugumo ( this one just for RB resets), but i decided that i would like to pick up a next DD line or 2 to play. Sofar i really liked both the USN and the UK DDs , and i reallly hated the IJN DD up to T7 , the T8-9 were fine but i would still prefer the USN and UK ones over them by a significant margin, so im safe to say that Shimakaze is off the table but there are still plenty of ships to pick from. Which lines would you recommend for next, and why ? And which lines you would suggest to stay away from , and also why ? Sofar the lines i have been thinking of are the Halland and the Grozovoi, they both seem to come with decent guns, the 6km camo which i got used to on the USN and UK lines, and the torps seems okays for both.

Yeah that playstyle is very different but as i see in competitive modes it really pays off if its done correctly, i seen quite some epic carry with the Ragnars. I plan to go for EU DD 1st so that i have a more conventional playstyle to get used to the no-smoke DDs 1st and after that move to the T8-10 PA DDs to pick up this radar DD gameplay, i think if i go step by step adjusting to the different tools i might set myself up for less failure.

Looks like it will get the Derflinger guns and not even the König ones ( i didnt put the Derflinger on the chart as it overlpas 100% with Schröders): In case if the pic is to small: Blue is Schröders pen value , Purple is König , Yellow is Agir Red is Schröders shell flight time, Light blue is König, Green is Agir Accuracy wise its a match to Agir , and has 2 sec better reload but one less gun, 800 worse AP alpha 200 less HE alpha , so all in all it ends up worse on the DPM too. I would say in terms of firepower the Agir is just flat out better ( also has a better turret layout in my opinion, but thats up 2 taste). Also Agir packs torps Schröder doesnt, but has better 2nd guns, but since you cant properly kit into iot in a CA i dont think that can flip the close range fights to Schröder. The Survivability looks roughly the same, so does the mobility before the Engine boost. The only points where Schröder seems better is the Engine boost and the Camo, as you can make it to 10.2km which is way better than the 11.9km of the Agir. So the trick seem to be to sneak up and do suprise attacks from 10-14km ... the sad part is that on that range the pen vallue is still 240-170mm ...The guns are just way too bad to realy challange T8-10 BBs and other large cruisers main belts regardless of range, and probably you will only get regular pens on ships with spaced armor like Venezia or Henry IV. Unless WG reworks the Cruiser Cpt specs and add a 2nd gun focused build to it or swap the guns to the more modern 305s I dont see that how this ship can keep up to the Agirs performance. -

Same here im an 53%-er player aswell , i can often turn around my flank at least to a win, but often the other flank is just so lost so hard that 4-5 ships just die for literally nothing within the 1st 5-6 min & thats an odd which i cant overcome. When your team decide to be like 1940 France you can do more just get out and prepare for the next round :P, it only hurts when you actually use boosters, cause thats around 10-15k exp in the minus. And no it is not a training excersise, i dont think that anyone is skilled enough to turn around a game from 300-400k HP difference and in crossfire :P , but sometimes you get a lose on the loading screen already , but other times your team had already won before you even loaded to the match. -

I got the Gadjah Mada , and it is a really good T7 , to be honest i got almost all T7 DDs with the Italian and Z-31 as exceptions. As for the difficulty levels i think that the PA line is more difficult to play with the radar + DW torps than the Halland with its more conventional kit.

What is your experience with "Cherry Blossom" and "Hermes" operations? Do you think they are (unfortunately and sadly) too hard for teams of random players?

My opinion is that at least half the operations are massively exceed the avg OPs players skill level, and understanding of the game, and they are more likely to just quit the game mode due to non-stop losing instead of improving enough to actually win. As for the skilled veterans, they will most likely just grab the SC & be done with the mode, as the divisions doesnt offer good enough reward & the randoms are full of players who lack the skill to finnish the operations. Personally i will just do the 15k base exp mission 4x to grab the SC as the ships which need exp are not OP enough to 1 man the Operation , and the mode gets pretty boring if i non-stop need to play some short of DPM CL so i can compensate for the lack of skill on my teammates side... Mainz after Mainz after Mainz gets boring pretty quick. You should simply add adjustable difficulty for the divisions which would reward their skill and make the Operations actually hard for them and not just a walk in the park like the Old Narai low men runs. Lets say that instead of Myokos and Aobas in Cherry they would need to face Zaos or instead of a Bayern and Gneisenau in Killer whale they would need to sink a Pommern and a Preussen, or if you really want to make the mode shine you could add extra and difficult tasks to each map as a plus challange which will boost the reward for divisions. -
Yeah im pretty sure now based on the reviews that the Halland will be the next ship i go for and see how well i can do in the DDs without a smoke, all 3 of the suggested lines should be played without the smoke and Halland seems like the easiest to pick up ( Heal, spammable torps, decent guns) , also i found out that i got that special captain for it so thats another + for the line. And probably only if i can work well with the lack of smoke i will try the guns blazing French DD( I love the FR cruiser version of that play) or the PAs with the radars. Shima really only has a bad reputation, and is indeed a decent ship when its played by someone who is a really good torp boat player i seen some great plays with the 12km torps and some even more amazing ones with the 8km F3-s on that ship already, but the IJN torp DDs just doesnt seem to fit my playstyle, both the turret rotation and the torpedo reload feels just way too slow for me, but probably i just got spoiled by the USN and UK DDs. Also is is just my false assumption or the Yugumo is the highlight of that line ? It seem to have better camo, the quadruple Type93 mod 3 tubes load much faster 114 sec base vs 153 sec base , they have the same gun DPM & the Yugumo has better MM due to T9, and if you want to risk it you can go torpedo reload Boost too. Or the Shimakaze has some other adventage than having a 3x5 torp setup instead of the 2x4 ? Well for the deck dropped ASW i dont thing that is good on any ship to actually hunt subs ... they are too fast too stealthy & you will be too dead if you charge them in the open.

Thats the main thing why i put the IJN line aside. Subs will probably easily replace the torp DDs completly, but i would be suprised if WG add submarines with radar ( that will be the russians subs ) or significant firepower from the deck guns. That is why i was mostly looking at the FR, PA and EU lines , and the Russian but i was advised to drop it as the French is better. Btw any whale lord got the Álvaro de Bazán already ? I know it should be up for coal in a later patch, and the ship looks fancy from an outside perspective , is it as fun as it looks when i see it pew pew pew bursting stuff ?

We should have a proper calendar for it, with 1 mega thread for each topic: Monday: " I have 45% WR just because of my teams , MM is rigged" Tuesday: " Bad people complain and i dont like it" Wednesday: " DDs are OP" Thursday: "Cruisers are OP" Friday: " BBs are OP" Saturday: " Weekend n00bs ruin my game" Sunday: "Wegie is bad, game is p2w" And dont be afraid we can keep on complaining about subs and CV on a daily manner. -

Well i simply not pay for the game if i think it is going in the wrong direction like i did since 2019. Do i think it will change anything ? Ofc not , i only spent around 40-50 EUR a year in the 2015-2018 period which was like raindrop in the ocean, but at the current state i dont think that WG do a service which i would pay for. The ships i bought years ago have already gave me enough fun games to consider them a good buy and back in 2015-2017 WG did a job which worth supporting , since this is not the case anymore i will just keep on playing for free. Do i expect WG to remove subs ? Again no, what i expect is that they do a massive nerf the the homing or outright remove that torp from them, and hopefully they add the airdropped ASW to all ships in game, i dont hate subs as a part of the game i hate their broken AF mechanics, and the lack of possible counterplay. Same story with the CVs , CVs should be a part of the game but Deffensive AA and Fighter planes are in a dire need of a massive buff, WG should just bring back the RTS era DFAA which ruined the drop pattern and fighters should kill some bomber BEFORE the drop, than JustDodgetm would be a reliable option. PS: I know my opinion worth 0 for WG & that they will soon sell some even more OP premium submarine, and yes .. im prepared for it. -
For T6-7 probably the fast reload could be enough to compensate for the lack of guns, and the 16 inch guns are still large by that tiers standard. I think that on T8-10 both the speed and the firepower would be lacking, just as an example Montana comes with 30kts and 12 16 inch guns. I know it wouldnt be natural for the design but in order to be somewhat playable maybe the twin turrets can be refitted Triple barell turrets of the Minesota/Kansas but with a faster reload and a reload booster consumable on the T9-10 ones.

I dont really mind that all that much, we got Kearsarge already and its not so bad for the game. I am way more worried about the submarines getting a full release .... soon followed by some even more OP premium submarines. -

That line translate to: We push this trough anyways, as we say it is good. WG also often say that they care for players opinion, and that they like the submarines... which is obviously a lie , also WG has a very similar way of communication to the USSR, and in that glorious contry they forced their view on anyone who dissagree. I dont know what kind of hidden meaning you found behind the WG statement but the main point is that we will get submarines as contrary to the player feedback they are ready to be released.
