    You need to be on max depth to be immune to dmg, otherwise you will get hit.

    I love the new subs, they take all the chat hatered and i get away with nuking stuff with Shokaku AP bombs & torps. It is definetly a great design when players hate it soo much that they dont even think about trashtalikng about how OP CVs are. I mean it is just pure quality of gameplay that a sub who does 50-60k dmg gets trashtalked, why my balanced CV does like 2x that and another 50-60k as spotting :D Also ... WG plz , seriously add some ASW to the CVs too so i can be the saviour who purge the sub so that i will be praised for good CV play for the 1st time since WoWs is out :P

    Half the games are like that .. premades making game more 1 sided than Russian elections. I wonder why the devs are not adding solo queue to this game ... I hate both when premades on our side steamroll down the game & when enemy pre made does the same. One side get a unicum divi the other some sub 45% potato divi & the game is over even before started.

    That one i can agree on. But as you listed already the Pros on a Balao for example vastly offset its Cons. Maybe your statement about being counter-balanced is fine in case of T6-8 , but in T10 the Pros and the relative simplicty of the gameplay vastly offset the weaknesses if they even ever come into play in the static meta we have in T10 nowdays.

    I bet the St. Peterburg office has a contest for it: Who can get away with the worst PR disaster ? I mean you need a wastly larger funshow to overshadow the WarGambling fiasko :D Also Subs worked really well to distract players from the CV issues, even with nuking ships with Shokaku AP bombs, i see no toxicity from the enemy team ... everyone just trashtalk the subs ;)

    Well using your "compare to XY DD" method.. subs are like the Kamikaze on T5 which is widely know to be OP. Your camo/dive capability keeps you out of sight for the majority of the game, while you have sub 50sec reload on devastating torp strikes ... and as a add on bonus some homing too. But yeah if you are a fanboy of the class there is no point in reasoning , there were also players who said T7 RTS Saipan was ballance too ;)

    Problem with the whole sub fiasco is that the counterplay to it will open you up for a very hard punish from anyone else ( you need to burn your Dmg Con otherwise its no hope to doge) after that you are vurenable for 90 seconds ... while the sub will be locked and loaded in 50 ish sec, and as an added extra fun you wont be able to clear multiple fire or flood eighter. So in short a very very low risk play from the sub will lead to reward regardless of the success of the torps ( enemy will burn a key skill) , probably even resoulting a hard punish to the player who was able to counter the sub strike, like a double fire burning for whole duration, or a 2nd sub strike nuking you out without any counterplay available. You have a counterplay for it ... just a very risky one to fend of a low effort strike.

    Does WG want the game to go for an even more passive , long range gameplay ? Cause what i see in randoms with the subs added that the camping intensified a LOT. The poor 1-2 CA who are up against 5 BB , ofc not push into flank as there is too much dmg going on & there is noone to tank for them. BBs also camp even more , they just simply cannot afford to move up due to subs as they will eat those massive torps with nothing to counter it. ( sure you can drop your dmg controll .. but than in a 20-30 sec you will have a lovely double fire going on from the eternal HE spam.)

    This one is totally understandable, and to be honest toxicity is already way too high in the game. But regarding subs, even the moderate messages are mostly negative, or suggesting that WG should work months if not years to fix the mess with subs, yet we see that WG ALREADY PLAN IT IN NEXT PATCH ... Seriously probably it is not only the subs but the St.Peterburg managemnet also needs a big rework. To not only complain i would just add a few suggestions too: Add subs as EXTRA ships on top of the 12v12 format , otherwise there would be way too surface ships focusing on gun based combat , which would have many negative impact. Just imagine being th CA in the following T6 match : 2CV, 5BB, 1 CA, 2DD 2 SS each side ... bet it would be far far from fun. Give ASW tool to literally every ship ... hell yeah , even CVs should get a chance to hit subs. If you cant fight your enemy you will just pile up more fustration = more comments for you to delete due to toxicity Give ships a separate tool to reset homing ... the Dmg Controll is already way overwhelmed by the HE spam + plus the holly Soviet BBs would suffer hard form that mechanic as they would run out on thiers way faster with 2 subs around. Also you should work on sub vs sub ... it seems like a mess, but maybe it is just general lack of knowledge on how to do that by the players... As for the T11 ships , what i seen from the devblog looks fine, or at least it is definetly better than timegating every stuff behind coal , steel , or the outrageous RP.

    That would be a good idea , also maybe if it could fit the budget making a short 1-2 min video on each ops for newbies would also help a lot on the non-vets in the game trying to get into Ops, be it standard or hard mode.

    Is it just me , or as a cruiser this mode is super painfull. i did the 5k base exp for the mission , but holly hell , never ever gona play anything but a BB in convoy.

    Well yeah, that can be true, but at the current state of the game the events itself make pretty much everyone farm all the time, just look at the high tier games , mostly they are just HE spam from the back. As for how hard it is to carry if you have a huge skill gap between you and your opponent really depends on the ship class... just remember how the old CVs with a great player , vs a avg Joe ended up ... and the same is true even nowdays for CVs and DDs. As for a truly great BB player .... yeah you have way way harder time to carry. In my opinion the MM is mostly fine, the divisions can really break it, but that is another topic( divi/solo queue would be nice to see), the games get so one sided because WG just make a few ships as key to victory via the spotting system ( if your CV and DD is potato level, well prepare to lose without much chance to fight back), but that is like one of the base mechanics of the game, which you can impact only if you play a ship with radar or with great ability to spot stuff while not getting yourself spotted.

    Well it depends on where the % diffi comes from. 3% diff over the team can be balanced , but lets say all 5 of your BBs have 2% better WR than enemy BBs , but on the only DD your team has you have a 25%% WR dif in favour of the enemy DD, rest of the team are are equal. I bet due to that single gap you will lose the game pretty hard. Or to go to even wilder scenario imagine the same with a 40% stock Audacious on your team , while enemy has a 65% WR fully equiped MVR with Lutjens. Also having 3x random dude with 55% doesnt balance vs a 3man 55% players divisioned up, having Discord up. The MM cant be ballanced as there are too many variables( divisions, ship types, stock vs full build), and too few players to mix and match around. What WG should do is maybe decrease the penalty on the exp when you lose , generally i dont care to lose unless i need the exp for farming mission/ ship & thats where the most fustration comes for the playerbase ( bet you all know the feeling of running dragon flags & your team throws the game even if you did well).

    Thats actually sad. The only reason why Co-op takes longer is the boring hunt for the subs in the end game where all surface ships have been wiped out. Anyways with the tier X ships done in Co-op and the SCs opened ( the loot was the worst ever , even with way more T10 compared to last year who would have guessed) im uninstaling WoWs till Xmas , or till you actually start to fix stuff & not just speak about it. Im sorry but i would rather belive in free russian elections , then WG really fixing what they messed up in WoWs in the last 3 year ... Yeah starting with the CV rework you only managed to fail & get the game worse with very little to none positives.

    Just as a sidenote, most of the time the random players fail to understand what to do, they just dont get how to manage the Transilvania or how does their ships skills supposed to work. Maybe the Devs should make some mandatory training mission to gain access to the mode.. so at least they should understand what are they doing. Probably that would increase their success rate ... and if they couldnt pass the training ... well they wouldnt stand a chance at the mission anway.

    Thing is that for a decent team not even those are hard, last year we did it 5star with some randomly made up group from Global chat . But for poor randoms, they dont even stand a chance at the normal version of the operation.

    And it will only get worse on the live server. It was the same before too ... with random players you have 0% chance to win this .. i mean we are speaking of guys who fail Narai with 7 player consistently .... and the halloween OPs are way more complex. But yeah .. if WG want to make it doable for the random plebs probably 2-3 half decent player would do it with very little effort.

    Too little, too late. I guess at this point WG can do anything, but they will never gain back the trust of the playerbase. Also i hardly belive that this isnt just a PR move with nothing to follow up. If WG would care the slightest about player opinion they should stop with the submarine implementation, and go back to the planning table. Lootboxes were just the tip of the iceberg.

    Just to list the most obvious points: 1) We dont want the next big failure like the CW rework was. 2) Each submarine/Team = Less ship/Team to shoot at 3) Homing toprs are even worse idea than letting CVs do 10k+ dmg to DDs with rockets, and has even less counterplay ( Burning youd dmg controll to remove it .... sure in the age of HE its a good idea) 4) If not all ship has ASW Tools it will basically mean those ships willl become unplayable 5) You got much more things to fix in the game so again you are just wasteing your resources while creating problems & not solving them The list could go on & on .. but hey WG wont care anyway.

    Is it an option to change WoWs doublons to WoT Gold ? Since the captain rework i cant seem to enjoy this game anymore yet i still have a few thousand doublons around with no use. Do anyone know if it can be changed to WoT gold, as i still play that game from time to time, and the new 1.13 patch with the Arty nerf looking promising.

    Yes i was basing the question on their claims still back from Beta. I guess it is the usual WG attitude .... they rarely keep their word.
