IRL would it not simply be a matter of making a small adjustment to the torpedo to alter its depth ? In game this could be done via a switching mechanic when fully loaded so you have a fully loaded ready to fire DD switch torpedo settings wait say 20 seconds to simulate a crewmember going in to adjust the settings and now you have deeper diving torpedoes that do increased damage to BB's because they go below the torpedo belt. See a cruiser then you have to switch settings again and deal with the 20 second adjustment.

Patch 0.6.9 coming thursday no british BB's and no mentioning of the Nelson. I would be surprised if the nelson isn't included though since the americans get the patch tomorrow and Pigeon of war will be having a stream on twitch also tomorrow (4pm pdt twitch link ) where he will show of the nelson and reveal the exact price and stats of the ship. That to me means everything will have been nailed down into the final form so not including it in the patch would be very very odd to say the least.

Actually seems like a fun line where you jump around from different playstyle to playstyle. Hmm why do i remember wargaming saying thats a bad bad thing.

Have we heard anything yet about gameplay video's for the Nelson or any of the other new british BB's from our community contributors ?

So if this is the final round of testing they might chuck in the nelson for a thursday patch (british bb testing is final right ? might even have them included in the patch as well)

The free XP pricetag was not confirmed to be in the 300-400k range so that is new information as well. (sub octavian was speculating when he said 350k-ish but pigeon now confirmed its in that range)

Honestly i do not know how you managed to get that out of that mess but ok seems reasonable enough. Though i guess it is nice knowing i am not the only one hitting the bottle hard.

Well it wont have the bonus modifiers the Missouri has so i would expect the price to be significantly lower.

Oh i do not blame the community team for this i know they are under orders from some bozo that keeps making these messes that they have to clean up. It frustrates me that that individual gets to keep the job even after so many blatant screw-ups.

If they do not want to double up on an event then fine but then again they should absolutely stick to the global release requirement and just chuck it in the store with a disclaimer that it might be given out in an event at a later date. This way everybody gets their fair chance to get it at the same time as the rest of the world and then the choice is up to the player. Its not having a choice because of wargaming reasons that dont hold up to scrutiny that annoys me and even more so because this is the same thing they do over and over again.

I love the cultural relevance bit when i remember the Campbeltown so well where Asia had it for weeks (over a month maybe ?) before EU. And i am not sure but didn't NA have the scharnhorst before EU as well ? The only reasonable solution is a uniform release date for new content then you can pull it out for "culturally relevant time periods" whenever appropriate. If wargaming refuses to do a single global release for new ships then they are just asking for negative feedback. Edit: Also up to each region just says it all doesn't it ? EU actively chooses to delay stuff why ? complete disconnect with their community ? malice ? too much vodka ?
