Seems the fire and smoke effects are too exaggerated but damn they look awesome. I hope if the camera gets closer the smoke effects wont dissapear as much as they do currently though. As for my personal wishlist i would absolutely love to have a more pronounced AA effect (that earns the title of flakstorm )and of course a detonation effect so spectacular that whenever it occurs then all the players in battle pause for a moment just to look at the fireworks. -
Especially since i think sub_octavian said the nelson was ready to go and there was no reason to hold it back any longer. I know that bringing out a patch just for the nelson is for wargaming probably a bit of a waste of resources but there where other issues that also need to be patched like the black sky bug and the DX11 issues and the support page with the known issues states that some issues will be fixed in 0.6.9.1 unless they now plan to go straight for 0.6.10.

My opinion is that smoke for the moment should be left alone until wargaming fixed the BB dominance problem. That said wargaming will push this forward and i hope i can trust that they will be diligent testing this and not negatively affect cruisers and dd's.

Cant shake the impression the graf zeppelin is going to be a victim to the mandatory gimmick playstyle bug thats going around. -
Can you talk about the tier 6 british bb queen elizabeth ? Its pre-buff warspite turret rotation is going to be a massive pain in the posterior unless wargaming had a delayed shipment of wd40. Its odd seeing how much different the QE is from the warspite when they are the same class of ship.

Will we have a 0.6.9.1 patch to fix the perth smoke bug and the direct X issues (and introduce the nelson) ? Also curious will the warspite and queen elisabeth be adjusted to be more similar ? (gun traverse and some other things)

Does that kind of info still fall under NDA after its been lifted AND changed ? Clearly i am not a supertester so i do not know what wargaming made you sign but i don't see the problem with that kind of info.

Ran into Jethro_Grey who was commanding a Baltimore/terminator hybrid i think everyone on my team has been shooting at him before he finally went down by a carrier torpedo strike. Very curious how much damage he soaked up in that game. -
Video reviews are starting to pop up at a steady pace now and its really looking good. Good thing we can expect a micro-patch to fix some bugs (like perth smoke bug) and hopefully it will introduce the nelson. I really hate waiting.

Pigeon of war said the nelson would be out extremely soon. So if i had to guess when all the regions have the patch would be the best time to do so.

I would say the adjustment time of the torpedo settings (and the limit of only being available when all torpedoes are fully loaded) would be enough of a negative to offset the increased damage (and not being able to hit dd's and cruisers) I think carriers due to their size and mass should also be vulnerable to these torpedoes but balance wise this would change little because any carrier caught with its pants down like that is doomed anyway. Another thing do we have any info on ww2 drafts for ships ? are there any BB's with very low draft or cruisers with a very deep one ?- 330 replies

Copy pasta from a post i made in the news from around the world. Regarding speed influenced by the depth i doubt the draft of a BB is deep enough to have any serious effect on a torpedo that is designed to move as easily through water as possible. Getting crushed if deep enough yes but im not sure about getting slowed down in any spectacular manner.- 330 replies
