I thought they would be done tweaking Alaska hope this doesnt mean more time spend testing the thing. Would suck if it came out same time as the new brit DD's those will take up most of my time.

I know but at the rate wargaming pumps out those circus tents it would pay off to implement such a system imo.

Love this thread i have asked for a Visual toggel for camo's in the past so we can use the bonusses while looking like the historical or at least semi realistic camo's. But wargaming would not have it.

I really do think she ought to be tier 8. Otherwise it would need nerfs to fit into tier 7 that completely undermine her real life qualities. By default she has - better armor and torpedo protection - much better AA - better secondaries So nerfs would probably have to hit her main guns and that would be BS as she is a upgraded colorado that already had a reputation for excellent gunnery so if anything she should be much more accurate and nerfing reload would make it a pain to play. Just think about it turning it into a ship that has worse gun handling then the current colorado just to shoot down a few more planes and eat an extra torpedo or 2.

Great but just FYI a lot of flags where not available the first time a ship was put on sale. For instance warspite and campbeltown went on sale at one point in a bundle with the jutland flag so anyone who already had one or both ships was forced to buy them again to get that flag. Or Indianapolis that later had a mission for its flag. Some ships never even had a way to get the flag for them like Kronshtadt or that neat Tirpitz flag.

Yeah tier 7 does seem to fit better but it would be straight up better then colorado. Colorado would need to be changed to make it competitive.

Just make it a tier 8 with all the characteristics it should have. If people dislike its slow speed then they can choose not to buy it. It would really set it apart from the other american battleships at the tier.

I love how they completely ignore the easy desirable fix of renaming it to the Maryland as suggested by the american community. But we know how wg likes to double down on stubborn decisions.

@MrConway What is planned for these flags ? I would not mind dropping dubloons for more decorative flags like the tirpitz one.

Good question especially considering so many premium ships where sold first time without such flags. For instance i would like to have this tirpitz flag. or this kronshtadt flag

Am i alone when i say that i would love to see a map with an actively erupting vulcano ? Have the snow effect only as ashes and a magma flow into the sea causing steam so many interesting things could be done. Instead we get a lot of maps that all are similar to one another. At the least they need to work on using dynamic weather more so there is more visual variation.

Honestly mikasa wont be the worst ship for long until le terrible comes out.

Well with the krohnshtadt dispersion as it is i think the Alaska will be the superior ship. And with its improved AP angles its going to be a monster against cruisers.

Hard to say without having played the Alaska. But it does seem to farm citadels easily.

Wargaming really should start putting out some new ships off the top of my head they are working on - Alaska - Jean Bart - Terrible - Eitel Friedrich - Bourgogne - Vanguard - Dreadnought - West Virginia - Charleston - Wichita And these are just the ones we know off so wargaming c'mon give us some of the new shinies especially Alaska.

All i said is that is a learned response by DD's to radars not that it is the best response.

DD's being "trained" new behavior by the radar meta.

RPF will probably be baked into destroyers for maximum balans. Good question though considering that skill could be a death sentence to subs.
