How is repair cost calculated ?

Yeah, and the result is that for every ship the bad players go one after another because they can't afford to play it anymore, hence the "server damage" (average damage of all players with this ship?) increases steadiliy. So in the end nearly every player will pay for playing every ship about 200k credits extra... That will certainly solve the problems we have, by punishing every player including the average and good ones.

GZ test II or Graf Zeppeling testing elsewhere

And it gets better. According to a GZ I tester I had in my team today, you can't panic German AP DBs with Def AA. So basically all you can do is A) try to maneuvre and hope to avoid at least some bombs which is not easy because of the quite slim drop area B) hope for your and allies' AA to shoot down at least some planes before they can drop. I don't know how to feel about it... Sure, having bombers with lower stats than average might be a way to balance it, but as Unintentional_Submarine said: They are either close to useless or wreck the target that it is no fun anymore. I also don't really understand why every new ship line has to have a gimmick. Balabncing exisiting stats, ok. Trying out new types of ammunition... depends, but ok. But everything else? At some point it just gets messy.

    Where are the ARP ships

You can only activate this option if you actually have them. If you have them and you still can't see them, change your ship filtres in the port. There is an option to hide them so you can see them neither in your port nor in battle.

T 10 super container mission not there

For, like, every event and update so far? NA gets different missions and prices, so better stick to the EU staff announcements if you play on EU. NA gets updates (usually) a day earlier, so better stick to EU staff announcements if you play on EU for the update date.

    Fire maximum of secondaries

All secondary guns on a ship have the same firing range. So it probably shows different calibres or - considering that it stacks - the number of guns able to shoot at a certain angle.
  6. Hm, I wonder if we can find a bathtub easter egg somewhere.

What is wrong with Queen Elisabeth?

Does QE has the same sigma though? Also Warspite is an (old) premium ship so it might very well differ from QE. I had no chance to play the QE, neither to compare their stats yet. But if Turnipsi's experiences are true, those might be two possibilities.
  8. I chose the FR CA line (or any FR lines for that matter). Glass-bottomed boats are way too fancy for me.

    strange object off map

On the one hand I believe it has to be intentional. On then other hand we had a change of the file system with this update, so maybe something got mixed up? But then we should have more sightings of UFOs and portals...

    MegaZao Has...

So what? First off, you are speaking about a completely fictional situation. Have never seen all BBs of one side clustering together and the CV who attacks this is supposed to lose planes which brings me to the second point about this: Teamwork is THE counter against CVs. Sticking together so every ship is covered by as many AA auras as possible is supposed to make the CV lose planes or not even strike at all. And this - oh boy, do I have a run - brings me to a third point: What does this have to do with the Conqueror in particular? Substitute the Conquerors by other AA BBs of this tier or tier IX. Iowa, Missouri and Montana in particular. What excately is new? A blob of five top tier BBs which are skilled and equipped to defend against air strikes is hard to break for a CV, be it one of the old AA BBs or the Conqueror. On a sidenote: If you find all five enemy BBs in the same map corner, congratulate their stupidity and play the objectives which are not "contested" by them. Easy win.

    MegaZao Has...

Yeah, sorry, I mistook the Dm. Donskoi for Des Moines. But my points still stand. To say radar CAs are useless because you have a Missouri for it (while you compare them to a Conqueror), Def AA CAs are useless because your own AA is strong (again, don't underestimate the ability to panic planes) and excluding other advantages like speed and mobility is dishonest.

    MegaZao Has...

"This ship is much better than all the other ships, except for this, this and this which doesn't count." Are you serious? Des Moines does have better concealment and (especially with the Def AA) at least on par AA plus it can panic planes which is nothing you should underestimate. All CAs have a speed and mobility advantage which makes it hard to hit them at max range (if they are aware) and if the Conqueror gets closer his concealment advantage is gone. A single CA might not kill him but that is not their job anyway, I remind you. Yet with the CA's help, no matter what BB, if it gets focused by multiple CAs or other ships it is gone. And how often do you have a Missouri with you that you can say "I don't need radar CAs"? Don't even know why you made that comment when it is about the Conqueror. Don't say "impossible to citadel". It might be hard but it is not impossible. And the "zombie-heal" is a mixed blessing. Activate it too soon or in the wrong moment and you waste it. Wait too long and you might be dead before you know it. Add one less charge than all the other BBs to this and you get a strong heal which will only work if you have the discipline to use it in the right moment. Don't get me wrong, this ship is strong. But comparing it to the majority of CAs and saying it is OP because it can everything better and exclude the actual advantages of the CAs is just ... stupid.

    Yamamoto collection dissapeared?

Because people. Part of those cosmetic changes is what some people have waited a long time for. Like mounting 2 flags at the same time. Others might find the alternative camo colours better. So people get inpatient and want to start as early as possible.

Where to report obvious porposely teamkill?

You should delete the player name though. This will give you a warning by the moderators for naming and shaming. Yes, the automatic system includes blowing up the offender/reflecting damage when certain requirements (probably amount of team damage/kills although the exact numbers are not published) are met. And no, you won't get back any signals or camos. Please refrain from team killing him when you meet him again, no matter of how much a waste of space he was.

Where to report obvious porposely teamkill?

Team damage is automatically recorded by the game. You can try to send a ticket to the customer support but they'll most likely tell you to use the ingame report system. And even if they do something about it they can't tell you.
  16. How come? The only notion about the drop chance I found was this: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/common/gottabstrong-gottabfast/ Since this campaign/collection probably is thought as another "long term goal" and WG wants to sell their boxes instead of throwing collectibles at us the drop chance is not high and to think otherwise is - no offense - naive.

    iChase removed from WG-CC program

Actually I didn't compare the two (aka "Both had to go for the same reason"). I just pointed out that one CC leaving after another seems to have started with the Foch case. I'd say it does WG no good to "fire" famous CCs or make them go en mass, even if they are in their good right to do it. A lot of people enjoy and rely on their content, even though it is not always about "Hey look, here is this great game with these great mechanics and those great ships you have to buy". I also think being a CC and having to review a bad or unfinished ship is a really unthankful job. It will hurt the CC either way. If they are honest and will do the best for their viewer, WG is pissed. If they make the ship better than it is, people buy it and see how flawed it is, their viewers (who are actually responsible for their income) will be pissed and leave.

    iChase removed from WG-CC program

Well, looks like the SirFoch case led to a whole wave of CCs ending their relation with WG. Quite a handful during the last months and not only less famous ones and not only CCs from WoT...

    fixing aa vs cv

You should read up about how AA works. First off, don't put too much trust into AA ratings but look at the actual guns you have. Next up, AA involves RNG which determines when a plane is shot down. So in theory it is possible that planes can attack a fully AA-specced ship without losses although it is unlikely. AA can and will be lowered during the battle by hits you take. So even if you have an AA rating of 100 it might be reduced by the time the CV attacks you depending on how much you were shot at. Catapult fighters and scout planes have significantly higher HP than a single fighter started from a CV. Since you have played some CV games yourself: How do you think it is easy to hit enemy ships and that they can't dodge? It might be true for DBs but they, especially on the Shoukaku, don't hit anything at all most of the time and therefore don't do much damage. If you think otherwise just grind a Shoukaku and see how "easy" it is and how little planes you lose by attacking an AA-specced Montana...

    Ribbons

Well, this not really a complicated topic but a rather lengthy one in regards to the content. I, too, advise to have a look at the wiki for how to achieve them. In short: Ribbons were already part of the game back in CBT when I started playing and maybe even before that. I'd say they are there 1) to show the player with which actions they actually achieve something in the game (e.g. directly or indirectly hitting an enemy in the cap) 2) for convenience (you only need a quick look to see your numbers of planes shot down or how many torpedoes of the current salvo hit without directly observing it) 3) for clarification (how many main battery shells hit, shattered, overpenned, penetrated or hit the citadel and therefore why you did the damage you did, although this is still a bit wonky).

    What's the point of upgrading?

Well, I meant whole ships, not a specific characteristic of alternative lines.
  22. Tungstonid

    What's the point of upgrading?

Well, for starters, the stat bars shown in the port sometimes are misleading (see also the Clemson problem) and should be taken with a grain of salt. Example: The lower survivability of the Colorado doesn't mean she is worse in this regard. you still have more HP and better armour. I found the Colorado to NOT be that bad of a ship but not a great one either. You have less guns, yes, but you finally switch from 356 mm to 406 mm main guns which allows you to overmatch the bow of tier 7 and below BBs which gives you an huge advantage if you fight them and they decide to go bow on. Your bow armour can't handle such calibres itself, though, so be careful. Maneuvrability and mobility doesn't feel great. Her German and IJN are better in this regard. So sometimes you will see yourself running after your team and the enemy if the battle goes too good for your side. In the end you have to decide for yourself. I grinded her all the way, starting with the stock hull up until I could unlock the NC and it wasn't that bad. I had worse.

We Want (Ise 1943 IJN) Battleship Aircraft Carrier

Yeah, a CV with 4x2 356 mm secondary battery guns. I'd agree with Affeks that the classification as BB is more plausible. You have the guns and the armour. A "strike" consumable could be possible. By activation a strike force takes off and attacks a marked target (which must be spotted, so it will be harder to use against DDs) with automatic drops (again, harder to use against DDs and CAs). Alternatively one could use a fighter force consumable to start 2 fighter squadrons which will circle the ship for a certain time just like the normal fighter planes do but are more effective in fighting against planes than the single fighter planes.

    Yamamoto collection bugged?

The collection (and therefore the possibility to find collection items in the containers) will also start when you finished the final task of stage 5 of the Yamamoto campaign. The Container you receive is a Yamamoto container with collection items. So you can still start the campaign without spending 3€ for a container but it will take longer.
