..............If MMing wasn't random how the hell would WG rig it???? I bet if you went to a Casino and watched the Roulette wheel it would come out with red/black streaks like this. That being said I always think if you go on a long losing run often it starts impacting your gameplay so while its random the only none random factor is you(not saying your a bad player an example I have just finished playing through the Baltimore and it really didn't work for me I think I finished with a mid 40% win rate roughly 10points below my normal one anyway all of last week I have felt my timing off playing everything, losses impact your play) ....

Seeing as they had less than 80 warships destroyer and larger when they entered the war I'm guessing that includes landing craft, torpedo boats, gunboats etc etc because to put it into context the Royal Navy lost 173 warships and they would have to have sunk basically every warship(destroyer and above)on both sides at the outbreak of war to get close to this figure,

It's not anti Russian or Soviet it is a FACT that the Soviet navy was used to support land operations and not as blue-water navy. You can be rightly proud of what they achieved however you can't compere it with any of the major navies of the time period of the game(not that all of them are in the game!)

I guess the point would be while other nations had some really poor judgement calls (although I'm sure the German Imperial Navy would dispute that in the case of the Lusitania)the Soviet Navy is famous for two things the sinking of an unarmed Passenger Steamer at the end of WW2 and the sinking of the fishing fleet.at dogger bank Although I'm not American or German I can name numerous actions both nations fought in with distinction, can't name one which the soviet navy played a leading role as I'm neither American or German is that nationalism or just stating a historical fact?

You and I both but if this was an ASW game and had the Shackleton MR3 in it I would play it no matter what for personal reasons and attachment, I'm not saying its logical but then again people do form attachments which is why people name ships/planes/tanks even guns

Clearly it would be astonishing if a WG employee to say it was greed, that being said you really can't take from the interview you can't take that its not greed

Right now as there are only two RN warships in the game I'm not sure its fair to talk about an anti-British bias (over and above there only being 2 RN ships in the game!). However would anyone be shocked if the line isn't laughingly weak when we do get it?

My point was more that those that say there is no bias have to acknowledge the fact that an american company or indeed any non russian company wouldn't balance the game as it is.

Unless you have a wish to play a line for personal reasons, maybe you had a relative that might have served on one or the other .......................... It's fair to say if WG where American the balance of the game wouldn't be quite as it is, so if that's anti-American then you are correct However in defense of WG I think its clear that the victorious powers in WW2 learned quite early on that production would be the key, thus they produced lots of "ordinary" equipment (Sherman Tank, T-34, Hurricane)which in many ways where inferior to what they faced, but won the war with numbers and pressure, You really can't reflect that in game, but if you put a gun to my head and said I had to spend 24hrs in a warzone I would pick (for example a pz 4 over a T34 or a Sherman any day)

It was always going to be a hard time for cruiser players because it has 10 months since a non-Russian line was added to the game and the fact that the German BB's where always going to be popular. Unlike some I'm a little less confident that the RN cruisers will change the population distribution within the game because by everything I'm hearing they are going to be at very unforgiving and low damage dealers making them more than a little tricky. I was wondering today if WG are counting on them as being used mostly as scout cruisers with the changes planned to add spotting damage shortly,

I'm guessing from your post you often play battleships. In terms of tech lines because of having to "fit" a number apex ships into the game such as the Yamato and Des Moines it means that the other nations need projects to match, incomplete lines or you remove such ships from the game and honestly having this game without the Yamato would be somewhat odd.

I think at this stage, looking at what they seem to have in mind if we end up with anything as "effective" as the Nurnberg we will be very very lucky

When you say gameplay isn't the same from server to servers would you like to expand on that????? and why is that the case(ship class preference/national lines preference)

I understand what you are saying and to me I would say less dynamic play is the "price" you pay for this business model(its the same in high tier tanks). For me it's worth it and I wouldn't keep trying to fix it

They are trying to do everything they can to make BB play more dynamic other then the main thing that causes it which is economic

I understand your point, but with the kind of damaging these shells are doing that's a boatload of hits all the time knowing that 3 good hits back and your gone. As for skill by the looks of things these are going to be very very unforgiving ships and will require a very high skill level to use effectively(and I question how effective they will be even in those hands) As for timescale its not looking good any time soon, although right now I think it would be far worse to release them in this state...........

I didn't say it was the goal of the company and I'm not sure what type of work you do but....... there are times people aren't pulling in the same direction on things.

That's a double edged sword if the line is a huge success there will be people with their jobs on the line having gone for the Soviet Lines first, I'm sure there are people at WG with the goal to make sure that there are less RN ships line for line than Soviet ones(worldwide),
