I always saw the fact that the higher tiers in WG products "cost" to play as a good way to balance game play in that the better players don't simply work their way to tier 10 and simply play there. It would be nice if WG would do something with the "free" XP earned from elited ships, but hopefully that's something they will work on. Sorry to see you go(or indeed anyone), but how about if you enjoy upto tier 8 just play those tiers there is nothing that says you can't play just say a tier 5 ship that you like -
I love world of warships, but if I worked for the company I;m not sure I would play!!! I spent 10 years working in senor operational management on a railway in the US and didn't ride on a train or even see one in that time!!!

The team working on the Russian Line was no doubt sent away to buff it so that WG can justify it's placement ahead of many other real navies by the fact lots of people will play it because it will be OP(anyone say KV1!!!)

Sorry to hear that you don't enjoy the game and think it has little to offer. I would make a couple of points I would question how in-depth a review on the game could be having never played above tier 5 there is alot of gameplay maps and such that you have missed. I would also remind you that the game hasn't even been fully released yet and yes there are balancing issues, I also find it ironic that you use IJN carriers to prove how unbalanced the game is!!!! WG don't in my view get everything right and at times they get things spectacularly wrong, but this product has the potential to be something really special and I'm sorry you don't see it the same way,. -
I think you will find it has the same guns as the Colorado 406mm

I hear your pain man I was playing the other day just trying to complete my torpedo mission for the day and the guy next to me launches 4 waves of torpedoes at me I dodge 3 and get hit by the forth, what made it even more annoying was that he could possibly have hit the other team because he was firing away from them!!!! The frustrating thing is because WG won't tell you the result of any report it feels like nothing ever happens(no idea if thats true or not though)

I understand your frustration but as soon as you see a DD turn away from him most DD's the range you are spotting him at is ROUGHLY the range he can hit you at so turn, it does 3 things. 1, Throws lead indicator 2, increases the range that the torps have to travel 3, reduces the speed of closure by the speed of your vessel thus giving you more time to react. Target the DD with your secondary armament let that handle him again because you are reducing the closure speed he will have to get that much closer to fire and...... be within your secondary arms range that much longer. As a BB always keep an eye on how many DD's the other team has left and if you can't see it on the map assume its around the next headland about to land 6 torps into your side as you clear it!!!!

Why don't people understand a capture = +50% exp?

To me the object of capping is two fold the team that's being capped on either responds or.... loses if they choose to not challenge the capping that's going on then it's on them!!! and if you want to destroy the other team there is no better way than to put pressure on them by capping. -
I won't be getting one myself but that really is great news, thank you WG!!!!!!

It would be nice, but seeing as that whole tech tree bit was removed from the Port area(and yes I know it was blank)I get the feeling that it might be quite some time before we see another RN ship. Indeed I'm willing to bet that there will always be more Russian ships in the game.

How hard would it be to simply move the English speaking part of the EU server to the NA one that way it reduces the number of people the Paris has to deal with. -
Interesting story and I guess this proves the point that all the threads about the selection are worthwhile, because if as many suggest people sit back and say nothing situations like the Berlin Trio will end up being all Russian. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying we shouldn't enjoy the game(personally I won't be playing the Russian line), but people should continue pointing out that they need to consider their whole playingbase not simply their largest(indeed Im willing to bet that the German line is being brought forward on the back of the reception 3 1/2 lines of imaginary ships received across the community

Having come from WOT and playing both the US and EU servers it clearly feels that the EU one has a great deal more traffic(indeed its not even close)as for the forums clearly what handicaps the EU one is no common language its 7 forums in one place and the EU department of WG doesn't seem as on top of things as the others(likely because everything takes so much longer to coordinate)

I'm pretty sure playerbase wise EU is larger than the NA market and while I disagree with WG in regards to releasing the nations in the order that they are. The biggest issue looking at each server is that the EU doesn't have one dominant nation for inclusion you can make an overwhelming case for both the RN and the KM and a very strong case for Italy and France, indeed while I don't have the tonnage figures to hand I would guess the Dutch navy was larger and more active then the Russian one in WW2. The other servers are pretty much one realistic nation to add

I was playing the other day on the "Hot Spot" map and we managed to draw a domination mode game(after 20mins the cap points where tied). My question is has anyone else ran into that I was amazed when it happened!!!!
