Ironically if you see it as a ww2 game they aren't too far off but when you consider that the lower tiered ships in the game are the early 1900s and the People's Liberation Army Navy wasn't founded until late 1950............

might have something to do with all the map issues people seem to be having

Well it will be nice for more ships, but China............. I guess WG want to introduce a more irrelevant navy than that of the Soviet Union so people forget how ridiculous it is that they are in the game at this stage.

Anyone that thinks the Colorado is a good ship is just a sick puppy!!! I think the issue at tier 5 is the fact your starting to run into players that know the ships they are playing and not simply quickly passing through

I really enjoyed the video, but like others not quite sure the wording "legend" fits. However, like the last on the borodino it was great to see a ship that took part in another "legendary" victory for the Russian Navy

I'm pretty ambivalent to specials and think as a company WG are quite generous(although some regions seem to do better than others), that being said discounting something based on it being "celebrated across Europe " because other than perhaps Christmas there are no pan-European holidays and I'm sure you aren't saying that it isn't celebrated in parts of Europe to the level it is in the US.

The key to playing destroyers particularly against anything with more hit points and guns is to use your stealth which means using your guns intelligently AND TURNING YOUR AA GUNS OFF!!! I would also advise that you think carefully before letting off smoke I often see a cruiser coming the other way and as soon as its spotted the DD will let off his smoke you are basically saying HAY!!!!! I'M RIGHT HERE!!!! the other thing that you will often see is a DD will let off his smoke and then fire his guns!!!!! think you are letting off smoke to stop the other team seeing you firing your guns removes any benefit

I have to ask and I don't want to turn this into another thread about the RN(which is why I'm placing it off topic). But what does Wargaming as a company have against the British???? The reason I ask this question is I happened to click on the Warplanes forum by mistake earlier and I haven't been on there in quite some time(haven't played it since it first started)and happen to notice that each of the nations in the game have a section for their planes.............other than...... The British. Now I know that that seems fairly trivial but the game has been out now for quite some time(2 years???)(and for those that don't know the British were introduced as one of the release nations) and add to the very well documented absence of the Royal Navy from Warships until some point towards the end of next year by all accounts and the fact that the British had to wait until after the French in World of Tanks. It really is quite puzzling, I for one really like the product WG put out and on the whole although they don't do things quite the way I would expect, it would be nice if they took a position across the company that was a little less negative towards the UK

I'm not sure if this is a question anyone can answer but.... was there some kind of clause added to contracts on such projects like this whereby in this case the RN could lease back the ship being constructed in case of war???

The important part of the EULA is this part 14. NO RESTRICTION OF CONSUMER RIGHTS The provisions of this EULA do not exclude, limit or otherwise restrict the rights vested with the consumers upon relevant provisions of applicable law nor may be construed by anyone in this way. basically you are not able to sign your rights away under it all consumer rights that you happen to have via your Nation and or EU override anything that is more restrictive.

Ironically the song was an Anti-Europe song, it was aimed at the German Royal Family the point being that Britannia should focus on it's interests around the world and not on Europe. So a European company focusing on other nations and bypassing the RN(for now)would I think please the original writers of the song.

What would be nice is if there was some way of using your "free xp" in game I understand that speeding up crew training might not be an option, but perhaps some types of flags that are only earned that way

I'm not sure if you where in WOT but at one point Stalin slogans where banned, however due to "overwhelming feedback" they where reintroduced.

The biggest issue the RN had was that until quite shortly before WW2 the RAF still controlled the air groups(at the start of the war many of the ground crew where still RAF)

This is a game based on war, I find the whole thing really beyond odd. If I had been a farmer in the Ukraine during the war I would find the Tiger tank driving across my land far more offensive than the flag on the side of it!!! Fast forward 65 years..........flag banned but the Tigers are still driving across my VR field!!!! Its like the shootings in South Carolina it is 10000 times easier to blame the Confederate flag and ban it than it is to tighten gun control. WG EU seem to have totally lost the plot when it comes to WOWs I'm not asking for anything or complaining I haven't got anything, but hype the game up a bit FFS!!! seems to me that their is no noticeable bump in the playerbase since the game yesterday and that is simply shocking

While it might indeed flop I think its fair to say it will be around in a year, warplanes still is and the front-end costs are such that it really has to be

The New Mexico is a lovely ship but if you don't like that save up your XP because you will HATE the Colorado other than having larger cal guns(but less of them)its pretty much worse and alot worse in every way. It's so bad when you get the NC you will cry even stock it is such a major upgrade

Ohhhhhh they used to have it right???? I could have swore I played a game once, lost all my upgrades for like a historical configuration or was that just my imagination!!!

I haven't played WOTs for awhile now do they still have the historical battle mode in that?

I know they had it in WOT for a short while(never cared for it myself), but considering that Matchmaking struggles with the game as it is right now I'm guessing MMing in National Battles would be a real issue,
