A message directed to WG about 0.4.1 and Mods... is this really true?
Tsukotaku replied to Tsukotaku's topic in General Discussion
That's not practical and can't be applied to the reality without money investment. You would need an entire team of employers per region just to check and allow a huge amount of mods. If a modification needs to be officialized or permitted by WG, it might also represent a legal issue in certain case. Like with anime or movies related content, where technically only Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio wouldn't (If the deal with Sanzigen Inc. or Shounen Gahousha is still alive) be an infringement for use of copyrighted material (And probably just for certain nations) as intentionally integrated content or advertise platform. Meaning that a part of the modders would be cut off by default, even without truly harming the player base as everybody here fears. I'm not a lawyer so this last part is just speculation but like this WoWs would become the same as any other digital store (Such as Google Play or Apple Store) under an "authorization process" point of view. Places where, specifically because of laws, they don't allow you do certain things in order to avoid infringements of any kind. -

Shepbur, on 04 August 2015 - 08:59 PM, said: So what was that last point you were trying to make if i missed it so spectacularly? That you don't keep a secret in the open if you want to keep it a secret. Shepbur, on 04 August 2015 - 09:01 PM, said: You can't. Explain to me how you're 100% sure that what is currently in the PT test files is exactly what you're going to be given when the patch is finally released to the live server? Because a PT client is supposed to test the stability and functionality of what's going to be released? -

Then WG should make sure that certain directories in their website or address routes are locked next time to the public, if they do really care about policies of course. I doubt that's the case when they can just make the download of said client, with its respective files, private and available for Supertesters only. Without to mention that we're experiencing for the first time a change in the client's architecture on this scale. -

Entirely stopping the modding base is NOT something being done for your own good. We don't even have harmful modifications on WoWs since months. Also, why do you think games like WoT, Skyrim and Etc... are still popular after so many years outside being just good products? It's because of Mods. Mods are what usually keep games interesting on long terms. Especially where you can only expect updates with simply nothing more than new veichles, maps or modes. Kill 100% of the modifications = Kill a good portion of the player base. -
Why is EU community staff doing nothing for community/playerbase?
Tsukotaku replied to nothere01's topic in General Discussion
A - It's not something about rocket science. B - We're in 2015. Not in the 90's or 80's where for contests or whatever it was you had to freaking send a letter with a VHS and your entry inside, then wait for a response trough a call or the same way. C - Yeah, because digital goods are difficult to obtain. Right... "Timesinks" my ***, it's an important part of your job. You're being paid for this. Sometimes I really fell the urge to be straight with you guys from WG EU. -
No, he's probably talking about those mods that turn the ships into cute girls and distract him during the battles. Even if it's client side stuff, but still out there you know!

Balance and roles in game don't make sense
Tsukotaku replied to Shells's topic in General Discussion
With all honesty... call it fair. That's not good balance. WG keeps writing and saying this kind of statements to defend their stance (Or thesis, perhaps?) over the current situation in WoWs. Problem is that the game shows otherwise and with facts at top of it. -
You deserve a medal. This really made my day.

Went back to the check on the forum, was not disappointed.

We're playing it in group and every single one of us have problems with performance (Even in the dock) + our drivers are fully updated. There's definitely something wrong with the client. About the "Aim Assist" you're right. I'm personally checking their website right now and they're still figuring out a way to make the modification works again after the patch. Also, HE are just ridiculous now.

And you weren't particularly reading both posts with attention.

Drop the drama queen's attitude already. I'd like to see this topic going back to its original purpose, which is talking about KanColle in "proper" manners. Without to mention that, as a fellow italian, I feel the need to tell you: for ONCE a japanese developer didn't exaggerate about the "Pasta" thingy and didn't push this stereotype in every single sentence of said characters. Simple mentions, about something such as this, are fine and have to be considered so. If you actually think for a second about what kind of first impressions or thoughts italians would have for japanese people when asked, you'll get to understand that's the SAME. Because, their answers are mainly going to be: "Sushi", "Almond Eyes", "Yellow Skin" or even worse... "Chinese! They're the same!".

Banned because you're using Kaga in both the avatar and signature, the same one that magically become a "damage magnet" in E-2 after a while and made me waste 25 buckets.
