0.9.6+ Änderungen am Mod-Ordner ab Version 0.9.6
principat121 replied to Sehales's topic in Feedback Archiv
Es gibt eine Mod-Section in diesem Forum, wäre schön gewesen, wenn WG diese Änderung und die Verschiebung des "res_mods" Ordners irgendwie den Modder mitteilen würde!- 87 replies

ST 0.9.7, "German aircraft carriers. Part 2" event, changing the order of consumables, ranked sprint, and other news
principat121 replied to Tanatoy's topic in Development Blog
@Tanatoy Many signals are connected to achievments. Will we get the two new ones as well with a specific achievement?! -
And maybe you use the F-keys more then you think? But wait, you are innocent. I forgot...

Some STs Ruining the Games for Others
principat121 replied to _HomTanks_'s topic in General Discussion
Like your lack of understanding of how-to-proper-and-statistical-relevant-testing new ships? The realm you test ships in is very important, as you as a very good player - participating in competative alot - will understand that you would get different results if you test only, lets say, in CW. Random battles are the "gold standard" to balance ships in this game. And as a ST myself I am very amused by your envy towards testing OP ships decorated contemporaneous with a lack of acknowledging the existing UP ships you have to test as well. And by god there were and are a lot of UP test ships. But these rarely get the same attention as the OP ships. Guess why...?- 77 replies

The system works. It just doesn't work in the way you and other "nice" forumites want it to work. After reading this thread I have my doubts...
-
It is easier to blame the system then to change your own behaviour, right?!

Dann zeige das Replay. -
You truely have a problem to understand the difference betwween cause and correlation.
-
It is always the same in these kind of threads... ...the innocent aren't as innocent as they claim!

Indeed, as you do not get any feedback about a report other than the pure fact that you got reported. No names, no reason. All you show is just conformation bias (again)... And if you what to argue, that a player told so in ingame chat, I have another bad news for you: You still don't know, if they really report you or just saying to do so. People lie in the anonymus internet, you know?! And yes, even I told sometimes in chat that "I reported you..." just to trigger the other person without insulting them. But do you know what?! Eventually I didn't reported them.

How do you know?! You only think that you know the reason. But you do not know. You just speculate and came up with an explanation that suites your personal view best ("got reported beause playing well - otherwise I am innocent"). This is called confirmation bias. You just see, what you want to see. Let me tell you: You do not know the reason why you got reported until you know who reported you and then ask this player why (s)he reportd you. Did you do this? Is assume you did not. You didn't even know from which team you got reported. Arbitrary reasons for you can get a report: playing well, playing bad, misbehaviour in chat, being afk, ramming other players, excessively pinging the map, or just someome remembers your name and your very specific behaviour and reported you?

Akizuki in port, triple carroussel. wrong tier display.
principat121 replied to Scorpicore's topic in Archive
Indeed. Before concluding that the game might be bugged, please make sure you play a vanilla client. -
Big words. Someone speaking such big words should also be big enough to be able to take resposibility for his actions.

Pommern (ex-Ludendorff) - Tier IX
principat121 replied to Takemikazuchi_1121's topic in Schlachtschiffe
I bet you NEVER angle against a Slava (or any other ship) in 25km distance. And think about it: In this distance the Slava will most likely be not spotted for you. But you might are, by a DD or CV or what else. And I also doubt that if you are in an engagement with an enemy, you pay little to no attention to a Slave sitting on the other side of the map.
-
Who cares if you can hit and delete cruisers over 20km? And I am not talking about some lucky salvo. I am talking about doing this multiple times in every match, again and again. The magical accuracy make this possible. Who cares about the slightly nerfed damage and reload as long as you can still consistently hit your target over the whole map.
-
But they also nerf the AP-Bomb damage, including or the german CVs. And they never touched the real issue with the Slava: the "magical-russian" guns. They could nerf the armor of the slave to destroyer levels, this wouldn't change much of the OP-ness of these crazy guns.

It is, because you* are a "repeat offender". You have shown that a normal sentence (24h chat ban) was not enough for you to change your behaviour and just follow the rules. Keep in mind: You do not get punished, if you just and simple obay to the chat rules! You repeatedly broke the rules and expect that in every single case you should only get the minimum punishment? Why? You have shown that the normal punishmnent was not enough to teach you to just be kind and do not break the rules. So a more serverely punishment follows. This will go on until you have learnt your lesson or you are perma banned from typing. In the end this last action will ensure that you will never break the rules again. * "you" in a gerneral meaning, not personally and specific you as Hades_warrior
-
And what about all the weak and underperforming test ships?! Supertesters have to play them too. While a normal player may ignore ships (s)he thinks that are too weak to enjoy playing, a tester cannot do the same.
