dropping torps directly behind the coast aka BS CV mechanics
principat121 replied to IGL's topic in General Discussion
When insults are your only counterargument... HAHA -
For the current game client version it shoud be like this: World_of_Warships_EU\bin\2979658\res_mods And I wrote "for this version" because the numbers-subfolder changes with every patch. But you will always find them in the "bin" folder.

Karlibur: Memes, Replays & Informative Content
principat121 replied to Full_HP_Satsuma_at_J5's topic in Videos & Streams
Again: As long as we do not know the exact mechnic, you cannot claim that this is a bug or not. 78k ist exactly two times the "right damage". It can be that there is a "window of oppertunity" where two bumps between Khabarovsk and Yamato occured and thus two times the correct ramming damage was inflicted. That would be not a bug, but rather poorly programmed source code. By "window of oppertunity" I mean this small window of time within a match. I assume that you can recall matches where two (!) "First Blood" awards were credited. How is this be possible, as the name suggests there can only be one first blood and a second kill in a match cannot be a first blood too. There have to be a very small time window for crediting such awards. If over complex mechanics are pooly realized than I would expect such results as depicted. Yes, of course it can be a bug too, but based on the testing alone a possible bug is merely just an assumption. -

There is a clear difference between not understanding the whole ramming mechanic and a bug in said mechanic. There is no official explanation from Wargaming as fas as I remember. So everything is datamining and guessing as long as we do not know all parameters that ramming takes into equation. But besides this nitpicking, I am looking forward to see some new and intresting content! Cheers! -
ST 0.9.10, balance changes and changes to test ships. (DB 87)

Buffing her bow armor would be more essential for such a ship concept. -
Tier 10 F.D. Roosevelt or "Rosie"
principat121 replied to _Propaganda_Panda_'s topic in Flugzeugträger

Tier 10 F.D. Roosevelt or "Rosie"
principat121 replied to _Propaganda_Panda_'s topic in Flugzeugträger
Etwas was sehr selten auf Zerstörer zutrifft. -

Please Wargaming! Stop giving away free stuff!!!!!!!!!!!! -
@MrConway @Crysantos He is right. He got two floodings in this scenario battle and the pop-up info for the activated talent. But the speed of the planes stays the same afterwards. Either ingame bug or replay bug.
-
Replay? When does it happen or not? More details needed to answer your question!

Yes, oh god! Yes! Please!!! My ears are always falling off, when I start the game, because the sound is way too loud!

principat121 replied to principat121's topic in Visual Mods
Just copy the files from the old res_mods (2964395) for 0.9.9.0 to the new one (2979658) for 0.9.9.1 and everything will work as before. World_of_Warships_EU\bin\2979658\res_mods -

Bitte mehr italienische Kapitäne liebes Entwicklerteam
principat121 replied to Bahnackson's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen

Mod updated to prod server client version 0.9.9.0 no change of content ATTENTION! Mind the new path to the res_mods subfolder: World_of_Warships_EU\bin\2964395\res_mods -
You can successfully use the standard DD build. (1) PM on tier1 for protecting the machinery and stuff. On most ships you would pick PT first, but as a DD you can consider yourself always targeted when spotted, so that the advantage isn't that usefull anymore. (2) The obvious choices: LS and AR. I guess no further words needed here. (3) SE is a fix pick. The other skill can be TA for faster torpedo reload or (my favorite) SI for the additional heal, speed boost and AA-boost. (4) Concealment, no question. I also pick RPF because you haven't the best concealment anyway, so this skill prevents me from getting surprise spotted. You need this indirect spotting advantage. And on top you can use this skill for surprise torpedos in the general direction. As these torps are so fast, you catch many players by surprise as they don't expect to get torpedoed when not spotted at all.
