    Flint did has the same smoke too before the 0.10.0 patch. And Wargaming was okay with that. That this ship has a smoke can thus not be the excuse for the difference in treatments compared to Atlanta. Flint and Atlanta were basically the same ships with the major difference that the one has Radar and the other smoke. The minor differences (turrets, torps) are negletable. Giving the Atlanta a range buff with the Commander Rework, while denying the very same buff to the Flint is not comprehensible in any logical way. As many other stated the reason will most likely lay in the way you get those ships: - Atlanta: luck with crates or hard cash - Flint: ingame resources To do not risk any legal matters with unsatisfied customers, Wargaming decided that the only-for-hard-cash-Atlanta will get a buff, while the Flint's buff is denyable as you "only" have to spent time instead of money to get the latter one. The buff of the Atlanta was just an "avoid-legal-affairs-move".

    ST 0.10.2, changes to test ships

    This change mostly roots from the testing of the ship, where the testers shoot most of the time AP. With 14 very accurate AP shells in this lowtier enviroment you do not really need HE to do consistent damage. AP will do the job. So, it has to be nerfed. Let's just see how these changes influences the ammo choices again, when after the changes the tester will most likely switch more often to HE. I would not be surprised to see a further nerf of this ship. And I agree with the smoke addition, but highly disagree with the removal of the Hydro consumable. These sluggish giant-DD need those tools, otherwise they will all perish in their torp-attracting-smokes.

    There was no problem. He just pointed out, that Sweden was neutral in that era and thus there should be no swedish ships on either side of this planed game mode.

    @Tanatoy Why no Graf Zeppelin for the Axis? Yes, unfinished, but indeed build as your requirements said. And the lack of Radar for the Axis was already mentioned. That is an important balance point (0 radar ships vs. 9 radar ships).
  9. The only question I have is, wether the "aiming speed" (the progression in which the aiming circle contracts) is constant and has the same value with and without this skill. It might be, that the skill also changes this parameter. Because - and that is just a feeling - I think that with the skill picked the circles closes faster in the beginning. Resulting is more "closed" circle half way through the aiming process compared to not the skill picked. But that is just a feeling. By just looking on the numbers in the end this can never be a recommended skill at all.

  11. Easy with every solid HE-cruiser in the game. Just look for targets and spam them. Smolensk was already named. But also Hindenburg, Henry or Zao are fine. Also Atlanta, Kutuzov or Hipper. And a CV woth HE-Bombs shouls also have noe problems.

    Not entirely true, as the individuel shells are independent and the shell fire chance is not the effective fire chance for starting a fire.

    It WAS useful in a way, that if you had spec into AA, your AA were capable to defend your ship against an incomng CV. And keep in mind in previous times the CV did not have an infinite number of planes as nowadays. So plane losses weight more in the past.

    I doubt that, because if you know what chance mean, you would know that that what you observe is fully in the limits of that what the game says and that assumin "something is off" is far too deliberate at this point. Let me share this for our enlightment:

    They are added to the prod servers. The normal servers where everybody plays. Supertesting on the other hand starts way earlier on special test servers. So there should be some kind experience of some kind of players in this ship.
  25. They have good guns, but survivability against DD is not as important as the survivability against CA/CL and sniping BB. A clumsy destroyer suddenly spotted and in the focus of three, four crusiers/battleships is toast. No heal, no smoke and not the agility to avoid incoming fire make these DD practically useless.
