Oh I love the fact that my BB's don't constantly face 3-4 waves of tops from planes all the time that takes 90% of your HP off. But when you are perma spotted all game due the fighters. That HP you saved goes away just as fast again.

How does being perma spotted non spot in a DD more or less all game give you a potential? Most CV's now don't attack as much, as their planes can all die vs even an isolated target. They just use fighters and spot everything. I can see the potential in CV's with the new style. But as long as those fighters are as fast as they are, and has the view range they have. I see little point playing DD's as I normally did. Be that spotting or capping. And when you have that kind of imbalance that affects several ships. That "for a while" can ruin it for most rather fast. And potentially never return. As it's not like one ship etc is a bit OP for a patch or so. It's the entire gameplay that's affected. And if they thought that... Then honestly they should have tested it more before releasing it. It's them basically saying " we knew it was broken, but we released it anyway".

Yeah, I can safely say this is the worst day I've had in this game. No tactics, no fun, no nothing. CV's are now just better DD's. Smoke cover for your allies is 100% pointless. As 2 seconds later a group of fighters fly over and spot everything a mile around you. Only good thing smoke is good for now is to cover you behind when you cap. Nothing more, nothing less. As they move faster and spot better than any DD early on. Not one single game did I make it to a cap zone unspotted or undamaged before the number up in the corner of guns aiming at me shows 5+. Their rockets seems rather ineffective. But their view range and speed sure as heck ain't. I've had some fun days the past weeks as a break from WOT grinding coal and getting the tier 6 premium DD. I suspect I need to find a new game when I'm on a WOT break. Because this is no longer it. The fun I had is no longer there.
