    What happend to Ashitaka?

So know I know where Ashitaka and Huanghe came from. I haven't played this game for well over a year, when these 2 turned up and a big pile of money and XP, enough to buy Queen Elizabeth and KGV. Will it make me play the game again? Maybe. I was never very good at it in the first place, but they come with 10 Captain skills and the system has changed, so what skills should I spend them on (Ashitaka)? ..

Caledon, Danae and Emerald: What do you think about?

Reality interest. Danae has incorrect hull shape. It should have a flush fwd, section, like the Caledon, with the anchors below the chine. The trawler bow, as depicted, was fitted on the later ships of the class, to improve sea-keeping. ..

A little bit of Warspite's history you may not know

I was thinking more of the National Debt, which was massively increased by the war. The French ports were paid for by an addition to ferry port dues and eventually absorbed within the ticket prices, so ultimately paid by passengers. One way or another, there was no money for a museum ship. ..

A little bit of Warspite's history you may not know

HMS Warrior was an oil jetty, during and after the war and preserved in the 80s. HMS Victory was preserved in 1922 and is still a serving RN ship. ..

A little bit of Warspite's history you may not know

The debt was so huge, that the British people are still paying it back to this day, plus payments to the French for damage done to their ports, so the last thing on their minds was to preserve an old Battleship to remind them of the horror they had just been through. ..

A little bit of Warspite's history you may not know

Interesting story but............. Maybe a better place for the Warspite parts would have been the Royal Navy Museum at Portsmouth, rather than holding up a shed roof. ..

    Cruiser gameplay videos

Thanks. Here's the thought process to go with the battle. With 7 failed dismal Calledon battles in a row behind me, I have 2 choices. Follow the herd across to area A, fire off a few shots, then be the 1st to die. Or. Do something different. Go South, stay cloaked behind the large island in the hope somebody will try for B and get that all important torp. kill I so desire. On the way down I spot a Cruiser, running down the East side, so I carry on through the narrow strait and then travel East to get behind the small island for torpedo cover. It turns out to be a Bogatyr going for B, but a Kaelsruhe offers a better target, so I go for that, but didn't get the kill. I chip away at the Bogatyr next, but I'm getting nowhere and the island doesn't offer protection from shells, so now it's time for a torpedo rush and I don't care if I die, I want that torp thump sound. A Nassau has joined in at B, so I decide to go stbd side set for the Cruiser, then port set for the Battler. Now it's starting to become fun. tbc ..

    Cruiser gameplay videos

After 7 disastrous lost battles in a row, I finally got on a winning team. Objective: Find cover, stay in cover, get the hang of torpedoes, survive the battle and don't head butt Battleships. ..
