This really is unacceptable from WG @MrConway You cant advertise something for sale with certain stats, and then some time down the line withdraw it from sale creating a huge desire for it in the user base, then start selling ‘gambling crates’ advertising the chance to win one of these OP ships, only to then 5 weeks later state that the OP ship you gambled a fortune on winning is now being reconfigured! I’ll make no secret of this now, I spent over £500 Christmas on these crates, I so badly wanted these rare ships that had been unavailable to buy for so long, and lo and behold I got them all! So what is this going to do? Set a presedence if we accept the GC being nerfed / reworked? Will my Belfast then follow suit, then my Nikolai? Then my Kutuzov? Then my Missouri? and so on...... you see where I’m going with this??? I will NOT accept WG changing the stats of Premium ships that we, THE PAYING CUSTOMER, have spent our hard earned money on! False advertising is the first thing that springs to mind, never mind the deceitful practice of advertising these rare ships only to change them weeks later! @MrConway go bang some heads together, this cannot seriously happen! If the CV rework doesn’t kill this game, then this underhand business practice most certainly will!!

If this happens I will be demanding a CASH refund, I bought shed loads of Santa crates purely to get the ‘OP’ ships, I have no need for doubloons nor do I want them, I WILL want my money back! you cannot start adjusting premium ships that people have purchased with real money, that is bang out of order!

Having a couple of days playing it I too agree, it’s freshened the game up for me. Don’t get me wrong, I sold my CV’s yesterday as I don’t play them, but I like what it’s done to the game. Like what DanottiTR has said you can’t rush a cap, and it’s tamed DD’s which was much needed. I was getting sick of being in the middle of a torp-fest and this seems to have stopped that. I also don’t seem to have had a problem shooting down planes, you’ve just got to keep constant check in your sectors. It definitely needs time and a bit of tweaking but I’m enjoying it.

LOL! Calm down dear, it’s really not that bad, the few games I’ve had tonight I’ve enjoyed, one threw me in a tier X game as tier 88 yet I still managed to finish top. You just have to think about which ship to use now in anticipation of a CV nightmare

I’ve free xp’d the entire Jap BB line, thought I’d give Yamato a go, doubt she’ll be much use with all the bastard CV’s though!

Had doubloons left over from the Christmas containers, so..... I ploughed them into the all 3 x bundles which I bought all at the same time, BIG mistake on my part, wish I’d read this post first. Got 80,000 FXP, 750 doubloons, 5000 doubloons because the Irian camo came out again, and the rest was premium time (I already had 460 days) and 3 x other Pan Asian camos. It ended up costing me about 19,000 doubloons altogether DONT do what I did and get all 3 x bundles at the same time, otherwise you risk not dropping the Irian therefore the doubloons refund when you buy the third 🙄

Second time I’ve been caught out like this, was about 200,000 credits off finishing it too, which I was planning on doing tonight. Bit pissed off as I stupidly bought the piece of crap too, so was after the doubloons to compensate for that moment of stupidity 🙁

I’ve grinded like a [edited] to get the xp for this and am currently at 980,000*edited* Why pimp the bloody thing so much over the past few months, getting CC’s to do previews etc if it’s release was not imminent? And all for the sake of seeing how the CV rework is accepted??

Do you actually have to download anything extra? Can’t you just select a different login at startup?

I was speaking to Earl Grey earlier on Twitter about last nights issues and the lack of dialogue from WG and he said he would look into it, he then came back saying the forums were down also. However, how come some of us were able to post in this thread if that was the case? I hope to god that we don’t have another night of the servers down, that would mean 2 nights spent with the wife which will do nothing for my sanity!

I’ve tweeted WG twice about this, once last night and once this morning, neither got a reply. Like the majority here, I pay for Premium, and my major gripe with WG over these issues is when it happens all we get is a free day of Premium as compensation, it’s just not good enough! We should be at least compensated for all the flags, camos and premium concumables we have lost, BUT to not address your user base over Twitter or Facebook is totally unacceptable!! @MrConway @Crysantos

Last night the keyboard hard men were out in force. I got grief off one DD player for apparently being a ‘BB spawn coward’, the idiot hadn’t noticed that I was actually nowhere near our spawn, was under focus fire from 3 enemy BB’s and a Zao, and the only team member supporting him, but that didn’t stop him venting. He was still abusing me as I took out the 3 BB’s long after he had died, and not contributed at all to the battle. Sometimes you’ve just got to ignore the idiots and play your own game. *edit- oh, and he asl did that ‘everyone report the *#%*!’ 😆

Had a good game in my Salem last night, was a really enjoyable battle Then had a decent game in Musashi, might be finally starting to get the hang of that beast!

Not great by any stretch of the imagination, but I’ve had a couple of so-so games in the PeF so far. I find the secondaries very useful.

As has already been said by another poster, the toxicity in this game is becoming unbearable. Take Flamuu for example, as much as I respect the guy for his vast knowledge of the game, and I’m an avid follower on Twitch for this reason alone, I think he promotes the shitty attitude shown in the game by others because they see it as part and parcel of the game when such a respected member adopts such a vile attitude towards newer gamers. How WG allowed themselves to give him CC status to promote their game is beyond comprehension if his attitude is anything to go by, to the uneducated he probably comes across as a self-absorbed thunderc*nt, and in some ways he does everything possible to turn new players away. But he really does know his stuff when talking WoWs, however if I was one of the top dogs of WG I think I’d be insisting he tones it down a bit. We all started from the bottom, maybe some of us should be a bit more welcoming to the newcomers, after all without them the game would more than likely die a slow death in time!

Used my preCbristmas coupon this week on Salem, loving that ship in the few games Ive played. going to keep hold of the new coupon and see what comes, would love the Stalingrad though

I imagine I’m not on my own here, especially with the Santa crates giving away so many doubloons, but owning practically every available premium ship, and already possessing enough premium time for the foreseeable, are WG planning on bringing anything new for us doubloon hoarders to spend our gains on? i currently have over 40,000 and nothing to spend it on and I fear that WG is pushing everything the way of coal or steel!

It’s a saying, as in, yes you’re right 😜 not that I got them all in one crate! yes, I did spend a considerable amount on crates, it’s no secret, I’ve discussed in the crate thread, but that’s got nothing to do with my original question 🤫

One other ‘downside’ to the Santa crates was the amount of ‘new year streamer’ camos I received, no need for premium camos with so many of those
