I do not know if this idea was launched already somewhere else on the forum.
In stead of escorting a convoy, one of the participating ships could be declared "carrying the fleet admiral".
At the start and with 5 minutes interval his/her location is shown briefly on the enemy map (call it radio triangulation because he is spouting orders over the radio).
Sinking this target could have specific effects :
- instant win/loss
- lose/gain between 250-500 points
- increase / reduce firing range; dispersion; rate of points capture; ...
- loss of communication for 30 seconds with other friendly units
- ...
I believe that this mode would improve teamwork (at least with the players that have some experience)
