    I think you seriously underestimate the mass of these ships, and the extreme amount of energy it takes to make them change directions.... Much more energy than it takes to obliterate 32mm of metal sheets at any angle. A ship weighing 71000tons, travelling at 27kts, would carry a kinetic energy of about 6900 megajoules. That is equivalent of about 1.6 tons of tnt, which is about 1/10 of the worlds smallest nuclear weapon.

    If you are fighting a ship, and he starts getting really low, the last thing you want to do is get close to allow him to ram, throw you ship in reverse when he starts getting to close. Ramming is powerful, but easily avoided with a bit of foresight

  6. I think it may be a mod. There is a mod that shows all inaccessible ship in the tech tree.

    Can't access clan port.

    A work around that ive found is to press the "naval battle" button instead, this will bring you to the clan menu, from there you can access the clan port. For some reason only known to russian programmers, it seems to only be the clan button that is broken, not the clan port itself.

    There is actually a point in sorting stats by the top x% When there is a new line released, the players that gets the ships fast, are generally more dedicated players, and generally have better stats. Thus the average stats of the players playing newly released ships will be higher than older ships, as more average and casual players have already had time to get the old ships. This means that the stats of the newly released ship will be influxed, and generally overstates the ships performance. Removing the bottom x% of players when checking ships stats, removes the casual players from both ships you are comparing, so that the new ship dont necessarily have better average players than an old ship anymore, thus a direct comparison becomes more accurate.

    Yeah, i hope they rework the unused legendary modules at some point, that said, ive been lucky, as all my t10s gets good legendary modules. I do hope that they add legendary modules to the ships that dont have them as well, i mean harugumo for starters has been out for a long time now, and should be stable enough to give an lm. Also, can we please get the legendary module mission at least for the ships that currently dont have lm:s, because right now it feels like a bit of a "waste" playing them, when we will have to grind them a ton later anyways. Would be nice if we could start the missions now, and then get legendary mod when they come out.
  12. Maplesyrup is great at collecting stats, i just wish the guy in charge would open up his css file and make it readable... Anyways, didnt expect azuma to have the highest avarege damage of all tier 9 ships, especially since she is considered a bit meh.

    So keep track of when they pop dfaa. If cruiser A pops his, go and bait the dfaa of cruiser C, then come back and strike cruiser A, and after that cruiser C has his dfaa on cooldown. Destroyers have to deal with this exact situation vs radar, they need to keep track of enemy consumable usage, and if they dont, they simply die. Why should carriers be any different?

    Destroyers have to play around radar. Battleships have to play around damage con. What does carriers have to play around again?

    Blatant nerfing is tweaks. Blatant nerfing is balancing. If a ship is overperforming, you balance it by nerfing it. This is a tweak. If a ship is underperforming, you balance it by buffing it. This is a tweak. If a ship is balanced but broken, you rework it without changing overall balance. This is also a tweak.

    Thats all rubbish. When artillery first came to world of tanks, the developers also saw them strongly in the game, and added lines over time. Or did you think that they created 5 arty lines at the same time, and havent touched them since the birth of the game? They stopped adding artillery because everyone hated it, and they kept trying to find solutions in reworks because everyone hated it. Sounds familiar to you? And releasing premium carriers when they are in such an unstable state as this is just pure greed on wargamings behalf.

    So attack the cruiser that currently has dfaa on cooldown. Every other class has to keep track of enemy consumables, why should carriers? And if your argument is 3 aa cruisers moving together, why should you be able to strike three of your counters when they are working together specifically to counter you?

    Of course if dfaa is changed to provide good defense against strikes, then anti-air without dfaa should remain as it is currently, so that no matter how many aa skills you have, if you dont have dfaa active, you are not a no-fly zone.

    Wargaming promised something which was impossible for them to keep. Then again, anyone could have seen this coming, there was no way that wargaming wouldnt keep tweaking carriers for several more months. Infact, they will probably never stop tweaking carriers, if artillery in world of tanks is anything to go by. The two classes are similar in the kind of feelings and complaints that they raise(even if they play very differently, the general feelings and complaints of them are almost identical). Artillery in world of tanks has been controversial since the dawn of that game, and since that time, they have undergone like 3 major reworks, and they have had more tweaks and changes during the past 5+ years than the amount of pixels on my screen, and they are still being worked on, they are actually undergoing another major change right now...

    No, he wouldnt outplay the 70% wr carrier player, because that player would bait out the surface ships dfaa, and come back when its on cooldown... He shouldnt be able to charge straight through the consumable that is supposed to counter him tho.

    Musashi defenitely existed when they reworked concealment expert, that was just a few months ago. Anyways, i agree actually that you should be able to grab a refund, because wargaming released them and called them balanced before they were even through the beginning of rework balancing. If they werent greedy little russian capitalists, they should have wait atleast for several months more before releasing them and claiming them as final. How can you claim that a ship is balanced and final, when you havent even finished reworking the entire class yet wargaming...

    My kutuzov was nerfed by the smoke spotting rework. My musashi was nerfed by the concealment rework. Why would i go frenzy about that lol? Both of those reworks affected the game in a positive way, and every other techtree ship got the exact same treatment as my premiums.

    It is the CV player being good tho, that is exactly the problem. There is no way of defending against a good carrier player, no matter how many aa skills you invest in

    Posting screenshots of you shooting down planes in meaningless for proving that "Carrier planes are easy to kill" You shot down those planes because the carrier player you faced was really bad and didnt dodge your flak... You had no say in the matter.
