I wouldnt recommend buying any high tier premium ship yet, because you will have no fun getting kicked around by better players all day. You need to first learn the game at the lower tiers.

Actually, there have been no server issues like that recently as far as im aware. Most likely, the problem is somewhere between you and wargaming, id suggest using pingplotter to check for such an issue. What kind of internet connection do you have? 3g, 4g, copper cable or fiberoptical cable?

They are useful on like 3 ships or something like that... On any other battleships they require a way too large skill investment(minimum 8 points wasted), and of course if you are being ambushed by destroyers in your battleships, you are playing them terribly to begin with. I didnt say average players can make a profit in tier 10, i said good players can. And if you are an average player, you can always work your way towards one of the high tier coal ships, that should set you up with all the credit farming you need.

You are losing money at tier 10 because you are playing badly. It's fully possible to earn credits in t10, if you are any good at the game. This system keeps some of the lowlife out of high tier battles, which is really nice

So i just got to rank 6, and can now afford the stalingrad. Ive checked all the upcoming ships, and there is only one that i might be interested in over the stalingrad, the slava. Problem is, i dont know what the slava will be sold for. This is a qoute that wargaming posted a while back: I interpret this as the slava being a second tech-tree tier 10 costing xp and credits, but it doesnt explicitly state so. All i need to know is if the slava will be sold for steel or not, as i would want to save my steel if that is the case. Could someone clarify this, or is it not yet decided what the slava will be sold for? @Sub_Octavian @MrConway

Too small sample size too early. Mostly the more dedicated players will have them already, so their stats are inflated. They do seem very strong tho.

Are you sure about that? Ive always had a tabbed down muted stream in the past for twitch drops, and its worked. Have they changed this recently? Could you link a source?

It's for watching streamers such as flamu or flambass for example. You need to make a twitch account and then link your wargaming account to it to receive twitch drops

Yeah, I mean it's still mostly a des Moines, so it will be great at holding islands. In cb tho, you really need the 10km radar range, so salem doesn't work. Even in ranked, I'm sure the salem is still strong, but I doubt it would ever outperform a des Moines because of the lacking radar range.

I'd go one step further, and make planes dependant on their team for spotting. That way carriers can support any engaging allies, but it can't independently cover the entire map.
