ST, changes to the commander skills system (DB 70)

Actually, this is overall a nerf to aa: Ships get slightly better aa skills. Carrier planes get much better anti-aa skills. End result: you need to spec aa to stay at roughly the same aa level as now, if you dont spec aa, you will do worse than you currently are against planes. It is in every way a nerf to aa, and holding the skill points of surface ships hostage. -
Reporting bias. Whenever people get something valuable, they feel more inclined to share, so whatever statistics that are collected in this fashion will always show a skewed image. Which is not to say that it is useless by any means, you just have to take it with a pinch of salt and realise that the real numbers are probably a lot lower than what appears in the spreadsheet. The only way to beat reporting bias and get accurate stats would be to include all the data on every supercontainer opened, which only wargaming can do, and theyre not going to share their lootbox drop rates unless some very angry lawmakers knock on their vodka-infused door

@Tanatoy I know its still in the early stages, but what about supercruisers like stalingrad, alaska etc, that essentially need battleship builds to work, especially the survivability skills from battleships? I feel like its a really bad idea to limit skills to singular classes, when we have so vastly different archetypes of ships in the same class. Compare a stalingrad and a smolensk, the ships have absolutely nothing in common, yet share exactly the same skill choices?- 209 replies

They absolutely need to give a MINIMUM of 2 weeks free respec time with this kind of massive change. If its a single free respec per commander, they will have a [edited]revolt on their hands

Also, how tf is this going to work with classes the way they currently are??? Battlecruisers that are classed as cruisers so they only get useless skills while they really need the survivabillity skills of battleships.... We do need a commander skill rework, but locking skills behind different classes is just dumb, there are so many archetypes in every single class in this game that its impossible to group the skills up in 3 classes. That is the same thing as saying that the smolensk and stalingrad are basically the same ship.

We're sorry to bother you at such a time like this, Mrs. Twice. We would have come earlier, but your husband wasn't dead then.

It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.

On second thoughts, let us not go to Camelot. It is a silly place. -
Yes, golf can be taught - it's just that it can't be learned.
