Hi Guys. I used t play WOT for a 8 years and been on WOW seriously for last 4 and I always feel happy playing the game at my age of 71. It keeps brain active and its fun. However, I'm not the best player and on two occasions I've been told in a none to friendly manner to stop playing the game. The last time was when some much younger person had a bad game and told me it was my fault I stopped him getting a kill as I rammed him when he crossed my bows at speed and did not cross my stern and avoid my ship. I always thought that you never crossed the bows of another ship ? Be interesting to find out if there are any other players on here actually playing this game in their 70's???? Tend to agree with Tebelianov regarding his comments and also re wheeled vehicles in WOT that did kill WOT for me and I can see WOWS is going same way. I really enjoyed this game despite being really old (73) but starting to feel same way about WOWS as I did WOT. But, to be fair, it may be just that after spending years playing the games presented by War Gaming I should know when to call it a day ha ha. Warm regards to all

Ohhhhhhh I never realised my eyesight was that bad as I could not see any difference on the new and old version of open sea port. Mind you I'm on old phart of 73 years of age so you'll all be playing this game when I'm long gone ha ha. But it does keep my mind and brain active Take care everyone and warm regards to all

I normally enjoy partaking in the test server. However, this time it was rather hum drum . One on One in brawl is just circumstantial as if your in small ship and come up against a battleship you know that chances up your going to lose. I enjoy the Brawl battles but really, something must be done regarding match making on the test server. I'm 73 and enjoy the game but at times I'm aware that the game is one sided in many ways Warm regards Ladies and Gents

Test Server does fulfil a need but at my age (72) I feel that the Test Server is far to similar to the Live Server. and its good to use Test Server to see what's coming in the future. I feel that a) Test Server should only offer Doubloon's and Credits and forgo all the extra gifts and goodies b) Captains should all have no skills so that you can test a ship in the raw as it were c) Ships should be tested at basic levels with the basic ship equipment and no upgrades d) No ship signals should be made available in the test server I know some people will think 'silly old fool' and I dare say they are right but, to be honest, how can we test game and ships out with 'all the extras' as this makes the ships and Captains more powerful than in the real game and make testing null and void. Forgive the ramblings of an old fool but the above is something my dementia riddled brain has been thinking about for some time. I play the game to keep my mind active a as q uick as possible. My sincere and warm thanks to you all and those are extended to the Wargaming teams who make us great games to play. Good luck and good health to all.

Yes I had same problem and notice pop up. Went and sent a ticket be decided to just uninstall the latest public test and re-install it . If I get same problem I'll uninstall public test for goodd

I've gone through the Battle Pass in the past and I will refrain from doing so in future as Wargaming are not making it worthwhile chasing . Too many changes and not for the better.

In the past I've going through the Dockyard scenario to get a few ships that end up in the Tech tree and if you want a ship past the one you've earnt you actually have to research the ship you earnt in the Dockyard which to me seems very unfair. its happened 3 times. So I would respectfully suggest that some attention to those of us that get ships via Dockyard or even early access and not obliged to have to research in the Tech Tree a ship they obtained before it appears in Tech Tree. be interesting to hear from any of you gentlemen if you have found yourselves in the same situation? Sorry if I've not explained myself very well buttttttttt I'm an old man of 71 who's just found out that even at this stage of life, you can get the big C ha ha. Warm regards ladies and gentlemen

No hard feelings re your comment about my in game name. I call myself that because it makes me smile to realise I've actually lived that long to be qualified to use t hat name. I was a good mental health nurse before I retired and having a sense of humour helped many a patient with mental health problems actually laugh again. I hope my sense of humour lasts to the end of my life. I may have even grown up a bit by then too but I doubt it ha ha. Warm regards from you know who

Oh gosh I can remember using Windows 2 and then 3 and Windows for Networks So with this computer I have now its incredible for games And Win 11 is sooooooo easy to use at 71

Welll even at my ripe old age of 71, I can see the incentives for going for this vessel via the Dockyard have not been up to the same quality as when I trawled through them before so apart from having got to section 5, I'm not going for it this time as one gentleman mentioned, there was usually a decent ship to gain half way through the shipbuilding process but, alas, that is not here this time either. So, hopefully, it will show up eventually later in the year to purchase or better still, get it with coal etc. But, I must admit, the game is making my old age more enjoyable ha ha. warm regards to all

The problem I've found is that Dockland ships, when you get them, do not actually count when Wargaming place a certain countries ships into a specific set of same nations ships as part of the game where you have to get temporary tokens to go though to obtain the last ship. you have to buy loads of silly Camouflages to be able to progress down the line. Chances are the last ship you can obtain is the Ship you gained by following all the steps in the Dockyard. Sorry, if this does not make sense but I'm 72 years old shortly so hey ho. I play it to show that your never too old learn something and, to be honest, I forget how old I am ha ha. But I play it to keep my 71 year old brain going and my reactions from slowing down. One think I have learnt is that some guys playing this game do not know one of the first rules a real skipper learns is not to cross the bows of a team mates ship ha ha. warm regards to all ohhhhhhhhhh and Happy Christmas.

Ohhhhhhhhhh heck yes I agree that the Arms Race is too crowded and in a battleship your a lovely target for a combined attack by couple of destroyers/cruisers etc. That particular game does seem overcrowded with so many in each team. Warm regards to everyone

Oh heck I'm 71 years old and I've been playing WOT and WOWS since 2011 or 2012 and to be honest had some good times and met on TS and Discord some really nice people from around Europe but I think its time to scuttle my boat as things like Subs, Halloween and those robot things are to me, taking away some of the fun of the game. For me, sizing up against another players boat and winning or losing was fun. If you try to do that now and have a good duel against another ship, chances are you'll get a torpedo up your stern which spoils a good fight so, sadly its about time this old boy faded out of the game as I no longer feel the need to keep my mind a brain active if I cannot enjoy game is it used to be. I agree with OldSchoolFrankie and feel best way to deal with submarines and all the other idiotic stuff like Halloween and Transformers (whom I presume is played by much younter 'adults' than I (I'm 71). Been playing World of Tanks and World of Warships for a long time ie 2011 or 2012 and I have enjoyed them but the things they bring into games seem to keep people interested seems to have a different effect and drives good regular players away. Well I must admit that I 'm not keen on subs and yes, I've learnt how to use but its alwmost impossible to enter a good dual with another ship and slog it out wiithout getting a torpedo intervene and but an end to a decent fight. I have actually started doing more brawls of late and even grand battles as I am not keen on the Halloween side of WOT and WOWS but thats how I feel about Halloween in general. Another American thing everone seems to follow Warm regards to all and have fun boys

Oh heck yes I do so so agree with you DreadArchangel as I have made a comment on this and some extremely silly camouflage patterns and those Transformer items in game along with camo and so many small islands you cannot have a good fight with one or two other players before bumping into something. So yes 100% agree with you on your comments

Oh gosh I'm 71 years old and I've been playing this great game for a fair while now and really enjoyed it. However, I really feel that Halloween games and other sci fi sort of themes are so utterly inane and so silly that it detracts from the game for me. I do see that some of the very young players may like it but too many changes to a good game is actually detrimental to it. I'd like to see the game improve and not changed into a childish cheap looking Android game

Ohhhh gosh yes I do understand that Yabba and I mean the Daily missions, Common missions etc Oh and thanks so much for your reply but now my old brain is trying to understand the mechanics of using submarines . I was born in 1950 so my brain cells need more easy to understand instructions in how to use them then watching a You Tube video hee hee. Take care and warm regards to all
