  1. Hello all, I'm curious as to what this 'slot' business is within the match making system of WoWs. Can anyone shed some light on it? I've gone through as much, or as little, of the FAQ as humanly possible. It's a little bit of a mess and some of the questions just aren't understandable ;p no offense. Secondly, are we to expect another match making system that places you with players two tiers higher than yourself on a more than constant basis? So many players have walked away from WoT's due to this and some of these players bring it up when commenting in other game community forums. Thirdly, are we to expect WoWs to head into serious esports territory? http://www.esportsearnings.com/games < Came across this as I was interested to know exactly what games are played at a competitive level. Can't believe some of the games on that list and the money generated, however, given how WoWs will have a great deal of strategy placed upon the captains of Aircraft Carriers, surely that element of gameplay will add a higher skill ceiling then most other games on that list and should be considered esport worthy?

Couple of questions for you fine folk...

That's a little rough considering they've had every effort in the many years of WoT's to not only fix the match making system, but to have something solid to share to quash peoples skepticism about it all over again in their new title. I mean, they're stuck in their ways with their pay to progress model but at least fix some of the things detrimental to its replay ability. I do not have access to post in any of the Q&A sections apparently. No problem though, come game release there will be answers.
  3. Agreed! Voted no. Unless the devs can prohibit, in some way shape or form, the use of players adjusting their screens gamma and contrast settings this just won't work at all. There are always those that strive to try and gain an edge/advantage over others by what ever means necessary (i.e., mostly against those that want to play in an immersive atmosphere, as they are not considered hardcore or have an understanding of what competitive gaming truly is). Good suggestion but a waste of time thinking this will be implemented.
