It will be put in you inventory, the same as my Hood and Bismark camos for the hunt the Bismark campaign, I dont own Hood, but i still got the camo.

To me it appears that a lot of the more average DD players are reasonably selfish and have little regard for the team. It is a class that easily enables a "lone Wolf" kind of game play, and the average DD player will focus 100% on torpedoing everything above all else. I was supporting a Gearing in a cap the other day in my Hindy, He sat in the cap as i was tanking the damage. He was stationary and popped his smoke. Sat there in one puff of smoke whilst i took the beating. Didn't move, didn't spot and got torped by an IJN DD that pushed in. This is a guy that managed to get to tier 10 without the slightest bit of team play. I am not a good DD player, and i know it is difficult class to play effectively, but i think maybe the economy may need a tweek to make DD play more about spotting and supporting with less XP and credit on damage dealing.

This looks great, I hope this is a success and leads to more historical themed missions.

I was wondering if there are likely to be any balance changes to the higher tiers? broadly speaking, there are too many passive BBs boarder surfing. too many DDs playing selfishly with smoke or taking heals instead. Too few CAs and too few CVs. Not an easy fix or one that can be fixed in one go, but i was wondering if overall the game balance will be moved back towards the original rock paper scissor concept?

I think i have had 3 super containers so far. The last two i had were a port slot and a hydro upgrade. I really don't care! i didn't loose anything, so why cry about it?

Paying for a month of premium would be worth while if you are enjoying the ships you are paying, and you intend to play a lot over that month. Another option would be a premium ship. These also have a increased credit earning potential as well as a boost to captain training. If you are focusing on the Russian line you have the option of the Kutuzov or the Molotov. Use your existing captains in these ships, and you will train them faster as well as earning additional credits. The benefit of a premium ship as opposed to premium account time is that you have the ship forever, as the premium time expires. The ultimate way to credit farm would be a combination of premium time and a premium ship. It is a good idea to keep a few lower tier ships for credit farming, as it is easiest around tier 6 to turn a profit on regular ships and not need the premium account. Also, usually there are credit gains to be made by achieving the weekly missions.

I saw him Tuesday night. He was in a Khaba, and was obviously pink, but he had a decent game. It was a domination on Tears of the desert. he didnt torp me, which was nice. We even won the game!

Maybe so, but when a Hipper sails in a straight line at 70 degree angle to the stern of my Baltimore and continues to do so whilst firing AP at me results in his destruction in 3 to 4 salvo's vs superficial damage to me. if he had angled into me he would have received a lot less damage as i swapped to HE. He didn't correct his course once. he set towards the cap and gave full ahead. AP after AP into his broadside. I think he expected to out gun me or something. maybe he thought he could get close enough to torp me, i don't know what he was doing. but he was easy to farm that's for sure. long may he sail on the enemy team

I don't think giving T8 cruisers a heal is the answer. How do you then balance ships like the Edinburgh if most of her opponents can heal too? Heals should be left for the the light cruisers. I don't think the Hipper or Eugen are in a particularly bad place at the moment, but the power creep is real. So a slight RoF buff and i think they remain really competitive ships. Yes people will always find something another ship does better than a hipper, but the point of the T8+ KM CAs is that they are utility ships. If you play them conservatively at the beginning of a match and bear in mind the mediocre concealment they aren't bad ships at all. they are jacks of all trades. The problem is that people think that they should be able to sail around broadside to everything and survive. I see it so many times. the Hipper and Eugen can be tanky if angled, but nobody bothers angling or kiting these days it seems.

If you don't like CVs there are no CVs in tiers 1 to 2. And there are very few in the tier 9-10 bracket, if that helps?

If the cruiser is positioned in a way that you cannot fire back, he has got himself into a favourable position. Kudos to him. You have a choice on how to respond to that. Sail away, out of range, or sail towards him, take some damage and bully him out of his advantageous position. The game is now very campy. It wont change any time soon either. So, my advice is to accept that its is campy and you cannot change the way the other members of your team play. Or play in a division where you will have reliable allies. My advice would be to switch up the classes you play. This will help your map awareness, and help you avoid putting your ship in a disadvantageous potions.

Did Ajax and Achilles actually cause that much damage though?

WT may gain a few players, but i doubt its really going to have a significant impact on WoWs. I am heavily invested in this game in time and a bit of cash, so i have no desire to start over again. I have played a bit of WT in both air and ground battles and its ok, but its not enough to make me switch. I cant really see the appeal of DDs and PT boats. I am a cruiser player, i like the utility of that class, so WT cannot offer me anything. So WT isnt going to be able to poach me.

I'm confused, What would be the point of this? seems very complicated to me. And the captain should always go down with his ship.

Hi, welcome. Keep that urge suppressed. IJN CAs work best at range! Regarding the forums, don't be afraid to ask questions. Just be mindful of how you word them! "Buff XYZ, XYZ sucks!" attracts a lot of, um, salt....... "I struggle with XYZ, how do i improve?" will get you a lot of constructive advise Good luck out there

According to WGs stats on the event, 62K Bismarks were given out, and the campaign was completed by 94k people. So unless i am missing something and my man maths is terrible, the Bismark population has tripled from 30k to 90k? 62000 extra people in a Bismark? I would love to know how many of them have no other tier 8s, or the only ships they have at T8 are premiums?

The cross team chat was full of salty folks ratting out the position of the last guy left alive, giving the other team an unfair advantage. I'm glad it was disabled

I like the Scharn, its fun and versatile. I also sling a lot of HE in it though unless its a flat broadside Pointyhairedjedi has a done a video of the two back to back

regarding weak spots, there is an option in the settings for the reticle to change colour according to chance of penetration. i cannot remember what it is called, nor can i check right now, as i am work. Basically its red for no chance of pen, amber for possible pen and green for a penetration, that might help to start with in learning weak spots. Usually, but not always, driver vision slits, commanders cupolas, hatches and machine gun ports are weak spots.

The Russian heavy tank line is forgiving due to good armour and big guns. They are not snipers, they are face hugging, peek a boo round a corner type machines that take an eternity to reload, but have punishing alpha damage. Ammo is limited, and you choose your load out of regular AP, HE or P2W premium rounds. each round costs credits, so try not to miss too many shots. AP is used for armoued targets, HE is good for dealling with lighter armoured targets like SPGS and some light TDs. Tank destroyers camp bushed and snipe in the traditional sense, but there are a few heavy armoured assault gun type TDs that can help push a flank rather than just defend it. different guns all have differing rates of fire, so 122mm and 155mm howitezers may have a 30s reload, whilst the the 2pdr on the matilda fires every couple of seconds.

It is important to remember if you plan on striking out into the realms of random battles that tiers 1-4 have protected matchmaking and do not see the regular MM spread, so i would advise against a tier 5 or 6 premium if that is the way you plan to go until you are more experienced. If you have enjoyed what you have played so far, maybe a Diana or Aurora would fit you well. The Emden is a fun little ship too. Jingles has covered it twice if you wanted to check the Emden out

The Hood is not a brawler. As a new player stick to the low tiers. do you intend to play random battles or just stick to co-op?
