be happy, i was rammed by another bb with ~20 hp. he sunk i got the teamkill btw: did you know that the teamkill/teamdamage fine also rises (both credits and xp) due to your premium account? *g*
-
damn, need more of those ;)

well... i could write about my astonishment about all those people posting about how utterly bad this game is, while they kept silent for the last few month in closed beta but honestly, i stopped caring about these forum trolls showing up today en masse. would like to see these threads closed and moved to off-topic or whatever, since they clearly doesn't contain anything useful. honestly, people complaining about having to play 10 games to buy a ship or... wanting to play pve but not grind at all or... wanting their golden des moines served on a silver tablet... its just hilarious next one will complain about not beeing able to play unicorns

ah, c'mon, thats life. I had games with 5 kills, high caliber and confederate, and lost them, I had games with 0 kills and almost 0 damage and my team won them. it is harder to carry a game, and compared to wot rng has a tad higher influence on the outcome. just took a look at my stats on the webpage, 2 games with hashidate, 4.5 kills average, 32k damage average, both games lost ;)

Loading times finally fixed? corse not. But its not all bad
Del_Mare replied to Armo1000's topic in General Discussion
with 4.0 i have loaded the game with 30 seconds spare time instead of beeing 30 seconds late into the game. great improvement here -
1. Basics of Survivability 2. Firefighting 3. High Alert 4. Basic Firing Training 5. Superintendent or Advanced Firing Training, both a Must Have

OK, so what Accout/Flags/Skill Points did you get?
Del_Mare replied to Cirrus4000's topic in General Discussion
720 battles - 7 skill captains, 20 flags -
seal clubber!!!

armor is not HP, armor is the thing that protects your HP from badass enemy shells flying straight towards your citadel ;) and they increased its speed by 3 knots but of course its easier to make a thread ranting about "raping"
-
hey berk, as the poster above you just wrote: it takes some time for your purchases to show up ingame
-
to give you the answer here in this thread again: a) big patches always mean some problems b) ships and gold are missing initially c) they get added with some delay bottom line: don't worry, everything will be fine, just have some patience. remember, its still closed beta for a reason ;)
-
alright ;) I'm just at my second cup of coffee this morning and my parody-detector is still asleep ;)
-
hey there and welcome to the forums of world of warships simple advise: wait, have some patience. many have the same problems, again others said that they recieved their ships/gold etc. with some delay edit: and please remember: It is still Closed Beta at this time.

I'm still downloading, but I expect some troubles. Why? Because there have been, are, and will be always troubles with bigger patches in online games. Played enough MMO stuff in my life to know that however well prepared a patch is, something is going to go wrong. If something is missing, eg. gold, ships etc., have some patience and wait, usually it all sorts out and you will save yourself from overly strained nerves ;)

I sure hope our start isnt as bad as the NA server atm.
Del_Mare replied to Dbars_eu's topic in General Discussion
a) never play on a patch day b) if you play on a patch day.... well... be prepared c) yepp, Wargaming (main company intself) fucked up with their humble-bundle deal. but honestly, it really sounds pretty much like a huge miscommunication of the intentions of this package to first humble bundle and second the wg-NA staff possible solutions: make a symbolic present for everyone who bought the humble-bundle, something like a charity-badge that can be seen ingame and in the webpage-stats since their money was exclusively donated to charity. -
Shimakaze vs. Isokaze or how high tier DD's have issues
Del_Mare replied to Abraa's topic in General Discussion
with such a low n i would state that your error margin overshadows your evidence backed values. so while it indeed seems plausible that airplanes make the life of a top tier dd quite miserable, i would advise you to be a little more careful with the interpretation of your little... "experiment" -
same here, no cursor when playing carrier. pressing ctrl does not help also, no cursor when not in map, but standard top down view
-
regarding funny achievements: its possible that two players get "first blood" if they kill each other in the same second
-
to sum it up: a) you don't know anything about the class you are ranting about b) you have problems with dd's while driving anti-dd ships suggestions: a) try playing dd's so you get a feel for them, get known to their advantages and disadvantages and use the latter against them b) try to improve with cruisers, they are dd-hunters but refrain from posting further stuff such as "bbs are overpowered" and "cvs are overpowered" ;) well, as a dedicated bb and cv captain, of course dds pose a great threat to you. thats by design
-
the sound effects, when on "low" settings, are quite... dissatisfying when shooting guns. it sounds more like rockets starting *swooosh* then actually a big gun firing
-
great audio warning but beeing able to report players for...playing poorly... isn't really what i expected
-
got only my 10k that i bought in the premium store, no further dubloons for beta participation. also, no arkansas, yet. logged in for the first time at 18:20 after downloading another patch

Public test 0.4.0 Game mechanics (crew skill, camouflage, consumables)
Del_Mare replied to Ectar_'s topic in Archive
i am really looking forward to the anti-smoke thingy. too often it happened that an enemy dd sat in his cloud, capping, with no chance to counter it properly. -
another last minute update for the client? just had to download another 215.5 mb patch
-
just use the same mechanics for touching the map border as for touching an island. speed instant 0, you can reverse out of it. problem solved and yes, it is VERY hard to lead your target if he is clinging to the edge of the map. and yes, this gets heavily used, not only by carriers but also by cruisers and battleships. i am not one of those "simulation"-guys, arguing for making this game as realistic as possible, but this map-edge mechanics bothers me. i mean, c'mon, want to make a 90° turn? just ram the invisible forcefield barrier and dodge every shot by disabling physics
