THIS thx for posting something worth to read and discuss. low tier cv's are indeed a problem, especially the tier 4 cv's. their dmg output per torp is too high and renders enemy bb's and even ca's who don't know how to properly counter cv's completely helpless. the game design should of course enforce a learning curve, but by lowering the dmg potential of the torpedo bombers, it would be a rather smooth ramp instead of this huge wall. and yes, battleships in the low tiers don't lay waste to cruisers, simply because they lack the proper gun calibers and armored targets to detonate the citadels. but they have hp, they can go in and draw the enemy fire, wait until their cruiser escort lays waste to the enemy, then use their repairs and shrug it off.

yepp, i got his suggestions he suggested to buff the autodrop (the version before had very effective autodrop) he suggested to nerf the accuracy of the battleships (it just got buffed with the 4.0 update) he suggested to buff HE ammo (because HE recently got nerfed) on the other hand, he says that the autodrop is too strong, the accuracy of battleships is too low and the HE too strong he furthermore rants about that manual drop skill, that never saw implementation thats why i called his ramblings [edited], and still do

because in wot spotting is done actively by a player, not passively by driving around with your ship ;) the only ones who actively spot in wows are carrier with their fighter planes when they follow an enemy destroyer -
on a t3-4 cruisers, those 150mm guns work in combination with their fire support center, elevated above the ship, measuring distance and speed etc., telling the gunnery crews what parameters they have to use to properly hit their target at high distances. on a t3-4 bb the 150mm guns are used by more or less skilled crewman without any support, they aim "along the barrel" and press the button. thats why they only start shooting at close distances, and even then miss 8 out of 10 rounds. and please oppose my bb with your op cruiser next time =) i am glad to show you exactly how op your cruiser is

unfortunately, this game still lacks a lot of the "comfort features" we are accustomed to in world of tanks such as different ammunitions, depot, detailed battle-reports, detailed ingame stats, mastery badges etc etc pp but thats maybe why it is right now a closed beta, will be in the next weeks an open beta and maybe in some month a game ready for release in ohter words: patience

so, in my carrier i am forced to perform autodrops that somehow increase my hitrate and give you no chance to dodge so, in my bb i cannot hit anything because its too much rng compared to version... well.. so, he is worse than before they reduced the fire chance what game are you playing, because those things seem not to be related to world of warships o.O

well, to play soccer on any public soccer field is also "free to play", but still requires you to have A) Clothes B) Shoes C) A ball playing wows is also free, but requires you to have hardware listed in "minimum system requirements" if you don't have this, a) don't expect the game to run properly b) don't expect us to be able to help you and having a low salary, sorry, prevents one from participating in certain areas. while someone might earn 20 times your salaray, he still won't be able to fly around in his own plane or cruise the caribic with his yacht.

u are using a graphics card that was released in 2009 (6 years ago) and was the cheapest piece of hardware available at that point. at release date it was already impossible to play the latest games with this graphics-card, hardware magazines had to dig out old computer-games to do a benchmarking u are combining it with a processor that was released in 2004 (11 years ago) and i don't even dare asking about your mainboard maybe contact your nearest museum, they might want to include it in their "early computers" corner ;)

the problem with dbars_eu is, that you cannot set him on ignore due to a hickup in the forum software. there are two dbars_eu registered, one is a standard member, one is this guy here (beta tester). you can only put dbars_eu (member) on your ignore list sad day -

in a game where i have no cv opposition i can easily make 2-3 kills in my carrier (2-3 "from 100% hp to 0" kills) in a game where i have 2 enemy cvs i can usually do nothing (given that they know how to play their cvs) but in a game where i have the same amount of same tier enemy carriers, i have to fight, and usually we cvs are completely entangled in an airfight with each other and can't focus enemy bbs i really like to actually have to fight in a game, so i say it again: change the carrier mm, so there are equal numbers of equal tier carriers enforced -
indeed, the tenryu gets easily citadelled ;) by everything *cough* ;)

well, with battleships rng is a huge factor, and rng is sometimes... well... yesterday i got so "lucky" with my rng, i felt a certain urge to open up a thread in the forums by myself where i could rant about it. there are days when you hit nothing with your giants of steel. ok, enough whining, one of the main reasons is: enemy cruisers of said low tiers have no armor at all. especially the st-loius is almost impossible to cit with bb guns of any size (myogi or whyoming/arkansas), start shooting at higher tier cruisers for some epic hits, but vs lower tiers, bb-ap shots are indeed kinda useless

it would help a lot if that "misbehaviour in chat" would have some consequences at all. but honestly, since i have never ever seen any thread such as "fk you wg you banned me for a day even though i have premium account just because some noob i told to go fk himselve ran to you and cried, give me my premium day back nao" i don't believe this report button is hardwired... -

main battery modification 2: loading time between shots gets longer, guns turn around faster main battery modification 3: loading time between shots gets shorter, guns turn around slower

wargaming wants you to think about equipment instead of having every player buying every equipment for every ship as a standard. with the old prices, they could have just removed equipment, because everyone had all the equipment anyways. now you will have some degree of variety. players who just want to "rush through" this ship won't buy a lot of upgrades while players who intend to keep this ship can afford to mount them

of course i am aware of that fact. just observed a drastic increase of players who are afk the whole match after the wipe took place. it still might be a coincidence, but i used up the new report-function within a few battles. btw: is there an ingame-detection? got a detonation with the first hit i recieved, and in the battle results there was a line, telling me i "didn't prove myself" or something like this

even the worst player starts moving sooner or later can second the op, we are still in closed beta but there are already a lot of players afk-grinding

yepp, it gives you a big advantage i started to use it frequently in bbs on certain maps, it usually helps you a lot in a 1 vs 1. and yes, i would prefer a change in mechanics, make it similar to ram an island, just stop the ship dead in the water and force the player to back out of the map-border
