    afaik amount of hp restored depends on type of damage you received. Fire and flooding gets healed a lot. Not much hp gets restored from dmg received by ship guns.

    You didn't get my point. If you retrain a captain, his captain skills are not working until he is fully retrained - meaning no manual drop every time you progress up a tier - unless you pay gold for retraining.

    But this realistically makes this game pay to play. I used autoaim about twice, in first game against bots, never again. You literally have to pay 500 gold for retraining to make the ship playable.

    We need tier 2 perk for other classes, without this perk, they will be able to fire only 1/2 of their guns.
  5. Probably my new record in planes shot down. Quite interesting game, I even did quite nice dmg due to staged DB attacks... If I was sitting in any other class I would expect to get at least double the exp, but hey fighter CVs exp income must be stronk, BBs must rule em all.

    I have said that couple of times already. Big CV issue is MM... From my experience, only about 10% of games are balanced CV-wise. 1) Tier balance - obvious one, Lexington vs Ranger, big no-no 2) Tier balance with 2+ CV per side, what I see all the time is T8+T6 vs T7+T6 or T8+T5, another brilliant example was Essex vs Ranger+Hiryu... Needless to say that Essex got 2 kill sin 5 minutes even though we had CA trying to protect us. 3) Nation balance with 2+ CV per side, 2x IJN CV vs 2x USN CV, stronk balance They should impose strict limits on CV MM, especially tier-wise. Independence fighting against Lexington is utter BS if you ask me, he can probably shoot down every single plane of yours (including all of your reserves) before his fighters run out of ammo.

    Balancing changes in 0.3.1.5

    Loading times were just fine before 0.3.1, suddenly 0.3.1 comes out and loading times have tripled in some cases. Instead of looking what caused this screw up (I didnt see any major changes in graphic engine, so I dont really see any reason for such massive increase in loading times), they will increase waiting time... Why fix problem, when we can leave it as is and go around it.
  11. No offence now, I believe it is just inexperience with CV class talking. But, such a thing could say only a bad player. At best you will neutralize one enemy CV (most likely he will still get some planes through and do same or more likely higher dmg than you). But his one player that you are neutralizing can be 10 year old that has no idea what he is doing. If you are a good player, you must have impact on the battle, it is like in WoT... trading one superunicum player for one useless tomato is not worth it, ever.
  12. I find it hilarious that when a BB "clicks" and scores couple of citadels, doing 60k+ dmg it is considered skill. Not to mention that it involves about the same amount of RNG as artillery in WoT does. When CV sends all his planes in two groups towards enemy, (avoids enemy fighters), avoids CAs and their insta-counter ability, some DBs tank AA damage, set on fire and TBs land some torps, one DB is left in reserve to set on fire again eventually if he extinquishes. He does the same damage against a BB (don't forget that since day 1 CVs were considered as hardcounter to BBs), it is considered as noskill and OP. And CV has to fly all the planes back, land them, reload and take off.

    But "the list" also didn't mention screw-up with manual torp aim. I would also expect release of IJN T9 and T10 for both nations before AA rebalance, so they can balance it agaisnt T10 CVs.

    Took the skill ceiling from CVs not a big deal.. Alright, lets give everyone else the aiming prediction mod (that shows where to shoot based on target's current speed and heading), that does the same thing, removes skill ceiling for all other ships, why only CVs have to be skill-less? Oh wait, they did that already and ppl didn't like it...

    If you check the patchnotes, you will find... oh wait, stronk WG communication skills don't include important information in patchnotes... So, if you check the undocumented changes, you wil find out that the recent rudder nerf is between pre 0.3.1 and after 0.3.1 values, but in most cases, the new turning circles are much closer to the values after 0.3.1 Example Kongo: 860 - 720 - 770 New York: x - 490 - 600 Fuso: 910 - 660 - 740 New Mexico: x - 540 - 640 Nagato: 910 - 680 - 770 Colorado: x - 540 - 640 As you can see, USN BBs do still have much better turning radiuses than their IJN counterparts.   18. Road to World of Battleships almost finished - fixed. Can someone take a screenshot / post a video of how they changed the TB manual drop? I didnt have time to get into game since the patch. already tested it... WG has really learned nothing? Hidden ninja changes, uncomplete patchnotes and so on. Their ability to communicate with player base is even more pathethic than it is for WoT. There is really no excuse anymore.

    In general, I see no fun in quick cap. When playing world of warships, I dont't want to play "go to B and sit there for 2 minutes" minigame. Also, you will get little to no reward in case of quick cap. On the other hand, I am playing WoWs strictly for fun, couple of games here and there, so I don't mind that much, w/e (unlike WoT, where all quick cappers are ***** monkeys). But I still see no fun in sailing somewhere and then hoping that no-one will hit me and reset. So much fun.

    From ships available for in-game gold I have only KitKat - definately not rebuying, even if it was given to me for free. CBT gift - Arkansas - not a big fan of BBs, how happy I will be about this gift will depend on how will the USN BBs be changed. I might create second acc named Casey Rayback and troll around in Iowa though

    The real problem with carriers

    Platoon of 3 superunicums in WoT can get 90% winrate in tier 10 battles, which are way way more competitive than current WoWs. And why is it bad exactly? If 3 really good players can play well together and outplay enemies, they deserve to be rewarded. They could probably do the same in 2BBs+CA, or 3 BBs...
  24. But this is WG, WG has pathethic reputation for tragically messing stuff up. I was defending them, having high hopes for WoWs, but they just introduced two completely broken patches... Everyone has patience limit.
  25. Idiots donkeys deserve to hit crap. What is the point of playing this game if there is no learning curve? So if I am half-paralyzed monkey playing lets say BB... do I deserve to do same dmg (or similar) as someone who played several K games in BBs? So please give me autoaim then...
