afaik all work on ships was stopped until further notice, they have lots of work to do on ground forces. So if they release ships - it will be in couple of years. And if you thing that behavior of WG is bad, then Gaijin is the spawn of Satan. Their practices and behavior towards costumers is mind-boggling.

the answer is pretty simple I wouldn't say that there are only shady businesses, lots of companies move there to save on taxes. And it is still part of EU. Also from what I've heard, it is a good place to "hide" money.

afaik it happans when planes get too close and you give them autodrop order, then they drop in all kinds of weird patterns (usually that twisted spiral shape that Silvercat mentioned, but I even saw X shaped drop). Since I didn't use autodrop a single time ever, I can't tell you if it is possible to master and gain advantage this way. But I doubt it, it just drops too far away from the ship to be effective. But you can try against bots...

Strait isn't a problem really. It is played by low tiers and at these low tiers, battleships aren't so powerful. So having big battleship advantage on one side doesn't mean automatic win. Clever cruiser captains can easily outmanouver them and keep the HE spam... And low tier carriers aren't as important as high tier carriers. High tier carrier has big impact on battle result, high tier carrier getting stranded on loosing spawn of HotSh*t is huuuuuge disadvantage for his team. Also low tier carriers have very low detectability ranges, so they don't suffer that much on Straits. But HotSh*t... oh man... They introduced "normal" spawn on HotSpot... great !! So why the frack are we still playing HotSh*t with these stupid goddamn ridiculous X spawns???!!!

I agree with everything mentioned in the video. And I would like to add Loading times (No more comments on this, it is just pure BS) Extremely unfortunate control scheme. Alt + Shift is used to switch between different keyboards (QWERTY / QWERTZ in my case, but there is lots of other keyboards). Switching keyboards all the time during battle is extremely annoying (not to mention the change of controls, because Y->Z) Lack of armor profile information ingame (PLEASE, PLEASE add something like Tank inspector INTO THE GAME) no UI scaling divison-only chat ingame! -

I suggest to read official FAQ: http://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/common/ranked-battles-faq/ Why did you choose Tiers VI and VII for this season? Will there be Ranked Battles for higher or lower Tiers? These levels were considered to be the most suitable for the Pilot Season. On the one hand, you need to spend some time in the game to research these Tiers - It guarantees that Ranked Battle participants will have at least some game experience. On the other hand, unlike Tiers VIII, XI, and X, the selected ships are relatively easy to research, especially if we take into consideration the recent start of the OBT. With regard to our future plans, one thing is for sure: if players like this game mode, we will develop it and organise seasons for other Tiers. At the moment we don't plan to introduce Ranked Battles for lower Tiers.

Tier 7+ BBs get the option to choose between spotter and fighter. And you should take that fighter plane. It is done as shown on a screenshot from Richard_V and dont forget to click on that yellow arrow to change the gold price tag into 22500 silver price (if using premium version of the consumable).

Imo lots of CV dedicated players on EU. And probably unwillingness of regular EU joes to cooporate and therefore mitigate enemy carriers. edit: I wonder how these stats look on RU, any info??

It is an issue of the tech tree then. But statistics show that Cleveland is doing perfectly fine at tier 6 exp-wise, dmg-wise and kill/battle-wise. It might have too strong AA for that tier, but that's it. -

If enemy moves in a "formation", lets say 3-4 ships (or even more), containing 1-2 cruisers, carrier pretty much cannot attack them, they are immune. And ppl staying together for AA protection and sharing those ridiculous floatplanes is quite normal at high tiers. It is the stragglers that get nuked by CVs. And it makes sense, CV influance is increasing over tiers, tier 9 and 10 carriers are strong and to play against them, you must play as a team. It makes sense even historically and it is working as intended (by what we know about WG intentions). -

Something that maybe wasn't said clearly enough... When you sell your ships and pay dobloons for upgrade removal, these upgrades are moved to your depot and you can mount them on future ships. -

That is [edited], CV requires the same and even more. Proper CV captain must have superior map awareness, anticipate flow of the battle, decide when to support attack and when to defend. He has to closely follow trajectory of targets. Know when to move with team and when to sit back. What is the right time to engage enemy fighters. How to use fighter effectively to protect himself/allied ships. CV has the main resposibility for outcome of the battle, because he can strike anywhere on the map. It is a matter of target priority / time required for a strike. Every other class can happily live in its own little "bubble" lets say 22km around him (much less for lower tiers) + cap zone. Every other class has its own obvious limits. IJN CV can kill any ship class if he is good enough, he can strike anywhere on the map. It is his responsibility to use this potential as best as he can. Btw if CV like Bogue (or any lowtier USN CV) screws up an attack, he just lost 20% of his dmg potential. In one "click", 20% of you game is thrown away just like that. What does BB do if he screws up aim of his shots? Fires again in 30 seconds... -

Because you have upgrades installed and you are paying for removal of upgrades. You don't have to pay... you can sell them together with the ship for 1/2 the price. -
That is well known bug in that fighter barrage (one out of tens other bugs in this sh*tty skill), known since public test. But there is no reason to fix such bugs, just release it and everything will be fine.
