    @YabbaCoe Old player returning to give the game a try who left after your guys decided to push ahead with adding submarines when everyone I spoke to didn't want them. What exactly is the offical WG response on how to counter a submarine? All of the matches I have played the sub fall into one or two catergories. 1. They over extend push into a cap getting spotted by the other sub and they fight until either one of them dies. Then the remaining sub has free pass to kill anything it wants to. 2. They don't push into the cap & don't get spotted then sit outside of deapth charge range and basically force all the ships to the back of the map. Almost every game I have played now with subs in if they don't want to get spotted they stay outside of the depth charge airstrike range with absolutely no counter at all. How is that fun? I watched a get kill 4 teamates and nothing could touch him. A DD tried got out spotted then died to the surface ships. Next up was a cruiser who got close then he was shotguned at close range. Now it was me and another BB again he is sitting outside of airstrike range the pings that come in aren't even close to being in range never mind the fact that if you are zoomed in on something you miss it. What is the counter play? The only one I have found so far is to run and hide behind an island. You guys then wonder why most of the games are over in 5-10 mins, you have created such an unbalanced game in the last 2 years. Do any of the Dev's actually play the game?

    Yep same here I think when this update comes out it will be the end for me, so many buffs to CV's in these skill changes & more money grabbing.

    Where to start with this. 1. CV's in CBs hold far too much power: A) as they can spot targets with little to no counter at times just keeping the ship detected so it doesn't have time to heal up before joining the fight again, as the planes can just stay out of AA range but within detection range. B) AA has been nerfed so much carriers just don't care about AA it at all, plus you don't have the number of players in CBs that you do in randoms so the team AA power is already reduced massively but when you have to split the team in half already to make sure you can try & secure the caps you they just keep hitting you until you are dead. C) Again due to the spotting all they need is a single extra cap which is provided by a DD which you can't fight against with your own DD as it is really a DD vs DD & CV fight which you lose. D) Spotting for team mates so you have an enemy team full of Venezia's (Throw is a couple of Stalingrad's too) which smoke up and then farm you from 20K as they all take the range mod and fire SAP at you which you can't angle against and do 12-15K damage E) The longer a match goes on for the more powerful the CV gets as they have had more time to kill your team and just encourages passive play as they know the CV will be able to kill an ship to give you the upper hand and when that first ship is lost the power balance tips massively. F) Also you can't set up with clever crossfires as soon as you do that you end up with someone who is isolated and a couple of minutes later killed by the CV. 2. A) Remove spotting for the team unless they are flying a spotting squadron which can't do any damage. B) Make AA on ships useful C) Maybe scale the AA power of ships based on the number of people in a match D) CV's shouldn't have an amazing auto damage control it should be manual E) Reduce the speed of the CV's some of them are so fast you can hardly catch them F) Stop matching teams which use a carrier against those that don't, use a match maker to allow cancer vs cancer games, while the rest of us can enjoy BB vs BB games. 3. A) Remove CV's they aren't balanced at all (I know you said besides CV but I can't make this any clearer they should not be included in that game mode as there aren't enough ships in the game to counter them or provide enough AA support) B) Why was it only a CV or BB that is just stupid if you were going to allow CV allow the BB as well. C) Again remove the CV's as all that we played against this season was Venezia's, Stalingrad's & Hakuryu, it made it the most boring and predictable games I have played with long range sniping from behind cover so you can't detect the Stalingrad's or firing from smoke in the Venezia. It really didn't feel like there was any kind of skill in those games at all just secure a cap and wait until you can farm the other team while they try and push but can't. D) An option I don't like as we may struggle at times to get a team together would be to increase the number of players allow into CB's if there is a CV 4. Just in case anyone at WG actually reads this nerf the Smolensk it is a joke of a ship that can do too much DPS and only has to worry about getting overpen damage against it. On another note it was aircraft carriers & long range planes which made battleships obsolete in real life and it also seems to be the way here, which you would think they would try and avoid when you consider the name of the game.
