till the update hits and we see how it feels to use HE dbs its gotta be tits everyday only problem I have with the tits is the rng of them for the pen or not but that's probably more to do with me rather than the tits themselfs I find tits are more useful at tier 10 than the torps at tier 10 which are useless

depends on tier and original aa of the ship I personally love playing a tier 5 Nicholas with full aa build as the enemy cv don't expect it and you can near wipe a squad of planes before they get more than 1 salvo in

fair enough just seemed to me you was trying to say a cv can easily kill any ship without losing any aircraft when as I pointed out the case you showed was very lucky and rng based and hardly ever will a cv attack a mino without losing any aircraft unless as I pointed out it was massively low health too many players feel certain classes should be near immune to cvs while others feel cvs should be more immune to the aa and all that proves is wg has probably got the aa about right at the moment -

if your using that pic as the basis of being able to kill a ship without losing a plane its a bit biased your pic shows 1 torp hitting the mino and it wasn't a detonation and the game is already 8 mins in and the mino was near dead so will most likely have had damaged aa also our plane healths are so low your so lucky to get away with any planes 2k health left from 7k would normally have had a few planes destroyed -

I play cvs now and don't really find that much of a problem with jb because its all long and mid range aa so just zoom to the target once you get into range and zoom away once the aa starts again and the jb suffers awful to dbs that circle in the none aa aura the mino is another class of aa if your caught out but can be overcome with predrop dbs or using islands as cover as most mino players hug the islands some ships have to have good aa while others are useless (looking at you musashi) -

not immediate and you will struggle to keep up with a good cv player who knows how and when to use the speed boosts to spin his planes around and drop again on you best I have found is have the sector set for when the cv approaches then leave it because after the second salvo gets dropped the planes are entering the improved aa sector again and will already be damaged and most likely the rest will get shot down -
not a nerf really as the reticule at the moment can be wider than a lot of the lower tier cruisers so longer and thinner reticule should mean more bombs hit the ship rather than dropping down the sides as for the dropping broadside its not much use even now as your lucky to get more than 1 or 2 bombs hit

No worries thought it was strange with so many torp bombers and ap bombers On another note how unlucky can you be to have to face a Enterprise and Kaga at the same time

You sure it wasn't a kaga as the Enterprise has 3 torp bombers per run not 4 as you stated

Turn and that's about it to be honest Try to get the bombers to drop across your broadside rather than length but as usual you usually end up broadside to enemy bbs and eat hits from them instead Also cruisers have it worse than bbs for ap bombs but do have more chance of dodging

mino aint cv immune pal ive hit them numerous times with tier 8 cv and will continue to do so it aint unheard of for a mino to get near wiped when a cv player uses a certain "skill" to get to the ship avoiding the bulk of the aa

you may not like it but no ship in the game should be immune from another ship/class I play quite a bit of cv and bb play and I can tell you now most of the time the tier 8 cv will get 1 salvo off before you shoot most of his planes down then the cv has to turn and in doing so your montana will near enough wipe the rest now lets look at the damage done from that salvo for torps around 10k on a good day for dbs and can be upto 18k or so on a epic drop but your montana if aa spec will shoot most if not all down before they drop and for rocket fighters depends on if tiny tim or normal rockets and your normally looking around 6 k for normal and upto 10 for tiny tims all above is for tier 8 cv are you seriously telling me your big fat health pool of a bb should be immune from small amounts of damage like that? cv whine is bad at the moment but ffs bb players whine over not killing all planes instantly has to be the best of em all

mino aa is a god when they surprise you but any cv player with more than 1 brain cell will once caught out not send any planes near you till he has no choice I personally find minos a pain if I want to target something near them but if a mino is out of smoke and I can db them with my ap bombs they are gonna feel the love big time and 9 to 10k a salvo of rockets is usual on them as well

when I have tried them pal they are very enemy player dependent as any good bb player will always start and move to counter the torps and though you can drop to anticipate this it usually ends up with either all or nothing torps while on the other side the 2 torps do around 10k per salvo and drop close enough to hit bbs and cruisers quite effectively so your already steadily being forced to use them anyway I like the haku now I am getting to understand her more but its a lot harder to play her well compared to the midway -
god man wg recons we cant even control our own secondaries or aa guns so chances of being able to control and aim search lights will be enough for wg head sheds minds to explode

haku 2 torp drop is fine against lonesome bbs as you can usually get 3 to 4 salvos of the 4 drop is so situational and mostly for area spam and as such I don't use em the ap bombs are another nuke or puke due to rng and hitting the right ship at the right angle but by god they are fun when you blat a cruiser for half its health -

having loads of fun with them I was one of the players that found the old rts boring and now the new arcade style play is here I love it personally don't have any problems facing a cv when in other classes but then again I have played the new cvs so know how to counter them as ive said multiple times to people stop whining and give it a try you may like them and if not you will learn to counter them when you meet them in battle -

yes and though nobody is actually permanently spotted because you usually get the chance to go stealth for around 15 to 20 secs or so till the cv is back with planes again its generally accepted its worse now than before difference now is if your on the side cv is concentrating on your generally going to be spotted most of the time while the other side of map usually gets a free pass to do what it wants cvs spotting is quite high at the moment and that's in my view how it should be but I must admit the drop salvo hit f and fly back with same type of squad is probably overkill at the moment cant see why cv planes cant spot as usual but any ship 10km or so from your planes don't get the info on map or being able to see them as you could say they where out of radio range of the planes (know its not really accurate but lots of this game aint) -

Completely true and ship mods and captain skills make a difference A squad of 6 saipan planes should get at least 1 salvo off before they are shot down while a squad of 2 planes will most likely get wiped before they launch Now this is why some cvs drop a salvo into the ocean so they go with 2/3 of a squad and mitigate the losses Remember plane squads have a health pool same as ships and will get shot down fast when they are are showing red so 5 red planes will disappear in seconds while 5 full health planes will get a salvos in Thsi is to all the non cv players -

What it's called is balanced The torps are dog sxxx but you have epic rockets and dbs so wg decided the hardest to hit weapon will be the lowest damage Due to this its only fair if you take torp bombers out as its your fault for even picking them when as everyone seems to think cvs have unlimited planes Or you take the strange ideas wg has to cv damage and accept its how it's going to be for now Strange how cvs in real life mullered ships with torps and bombs but wg thinks the rockets per salvo should sometimes be the main damage dealers -

god damn old school you don't half like changing posts lol I know you don't like cvs and I understand that but come on a class that's invisible to another class is out there in another world of make believe I know a few players who hate cvs and cant say I blame them too much but your taking it to another level wanting a "invisible" class of ship because "its not fair" wait till subs come and your dd will be insta spotted and your sat there wondering where the fxxx the spotter is while at the moment your get to see the nasty planes coming for you but then again you will probably ask for dds to be invisible to them as well and also auto spot all subs all time through the game lols
