its a good ship but expect to be trolled a bit when you start firing the guns at 18km but close up to around 12-14km and its damn nice aa is epic on a tier 5 and you will enjoy the tiers of carrier players who are new to seeing the texas

you can normally guess where a dd is gonna go once spotted ie to islands they are near or into the smoke or towards other friendly ships and all you do is fire a salvo where you think the dd will run and sometimes you get the hits even with bb guns

I personally love to get stuck in with my bbs and wreck as much as possible as early as possible so our team pushes once the enemy team has turned and run I then like to stick at the 10km to 12km range so I can get reliable shots on the enemy and know I will likely dodge most cruiser torpedo the only problem with this tactic is when the cruisers and dds then like to hang behind me rather than push and I usually end up tanking shed loads of damage and probably die too early but most of my bbs have a average damage of over 50k and I enjoy that type of play

I think this forum was better on cbt but it was a smaller community then I do feel too much raging, l2p and general flaming but this is what happens in gaming forums

never had a "special offer" in game but I do buy way too much crap so maybe they don't do the offers for people who spend a lot

no nerf to amagi shells what you are finding is that your shooting at angled ships that are bouncing your shots now that bit more due to the armour on those ships now working as they are ment to you need to change your play style to account for this by waiting that bit longer for the enemy to present their sides or start and load he to fire at the ship that is not showing his sides at all

tbh I never looked at jap dds are gunboats but now you mention how they can invisi fire it certainly gives you something to do instead of just spamming torps

I prefer demolition expert for my dds because I like to set the bbs on fire and move to the next bb and rinse and repeat I would never use aft on American dd over tier 5 as its near impossible to make it worth while

its called "chance" and that means its not guaranteed

just cut all gun ranges of ships by atleast 25% and if it needs more then cut it more shorter range means people will have to get closer to engage each other and it will also allow cruisers to work as escorts more because the battleships will have to close or shoot at nothing I would also remove all the battleship extras to increase range and that also includes the spotter aircraft and I would remove the spotter aircraft from cruisers in tier 3-5 most gun battles happen around 12km but get upto tiers 9-10 and its 18km+ and this results in boring games in my opinion

just zoom into where you see the shoots coming from and then fire individual shots spreading your fire around where the dd is firing from and you will get the odd hit and the dd will then stop firing or run away most of the time

tbh this "sale" of premium dds stinks cruisers got a tier 7 Atlanta cv got the saipan I cant remember what the tier bb sale was but ffs dd sale is tier 2 and 3 I had money ready for the Anshan but seems its gonna stay in my bank instead

tbh you should always presume the enemy has a good cv player and adjust your play to it watch for where planes are on mini map and turn towards em when they come at you and always stick in groups so it makes it harder for the enemy cv player to get easy torp hits no mater how good the enemy cv player Is you can working as a team counter it but the problem is the word "team" as most of the time most players just go of and do what they want and ignore the team

that's the thing aint it where we all get really good games and make shed loads of credits and think to ourselfs I am a god and next game get detonated by first shot that hits you as they say sometimes the crapflows the other way
