Don't know about anyone else but I have seen and experienced allot more 1 shot kills this patch. I managed to one shot 3 other BB from my South Carolina in the space of two games. I also saw this with other people. Am I just lucky or is this part of the new mechanics?

They die like normal but die in one shot.

I am seeing 1 shots everywhere today. what is going on today.

I just got another two one shots in one game.

And the ones that aren't will be British and other loaned ships.

Somke for DD are the only thing keeping then competitive. Without it DDs would just get destroyed. If you are sick of DD then learn how to deal with them. It's not that hard just too keep awey from obvious DD choke points and to not go into enemy smoke screens.

I know it was war and all but I always found it a bit heartless that the RN where told only to pick up a sample of the hundreds of survivors from Sharnhorst. Only 36 where captured while 1900 or so where left to go down. Many of those could have been saved easily. They did the same with bismark.

Made a topic about this some time ago. I could see it as an April fool joke some time. But no real place in the game just to mad and large. You can't balance her not with all that armour and guns of a KGV

It was HMS Duke of York (the King George V class) not iron duke which was a WW1 era battleship.

Historical battles wont be implemented. The Russians wont be able to join in and WG wont have any of that. However i am sure WG could make up some battles to go with their made up ships.

Just restart the launcher when that happens.

This topic is going to keep coming up as new players just assume they are OP and complain.

Ahh yes the old struggle for these two ships. efforts to try and bring back Whimbrel have been going on for over 10 years now. unfortunately despite some hope last year there has not been any news or efforts since. Her historical importance and the lack of WW2 British ships as museums makes her imperative to save. unfortunately the government could not give a dam about historical importance or naval heritage and wont even consider helping to bring her back. that leaves it only to the enthusiasts and a few naval officials that just don't have the means or the funds to save her. I made a topic about them some time ago unfortunately the people on the forums did not seem too interested either. its a same but I've gotten all to used to saying goodbye to British naval heritage. as seen with the loss of all the type 42s and the scraping of HMS Plymouth last year. i guess we just don't have the same passion like they do in the U.S http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/3164-save-hms-whimbrel/page__fromsearch__1

also I think Nelson should be above king George the V as she had 16inch guns while KGV has only 14inch guns. Also if you loose one of the quad turrets in KGV you loose allot of your guns In one hit Also Nelson had larger and more secondary guns 6inch and 4.7inch guns.as oppose to KGV which only had 5inch secondary's. The only advantage KGV has over Nelson is her 28kt speed limit

it's a good ship and Omaha is even better so just play it out and you won't regret it when you get to tier6

Guns aren't everything. Dont just play one of two games in a new ship and say that it's bad.

Not so sure about the tiger class at tier 10 considering how she has less guns that most other ships in the cruiser line. Also she has sea cat missiles which won't be in game.

They will probably add an international tree for both WoT an WoWS eventually. However this will not be for quiet some time so dont keep your fingers crossed for Greek Spanish or any other lesser nations ships anytime soon. Its just not a priority for WG especially with WoWS at this early stage.WoT possibly some time soon but still don't bet on it. However you never know about premiums that might come up of some famous ships. Personally i would like to see the Greek armored Cruiser Georgios Averof

Just wondering if anyone has tried out Warspite yet and what your opinions are on her if you have?

It does seem odd for them to remove the only RN ship despite how much people want to play the RN. we already have to wait till after the Russians come. Don't deprive us of the only RN ship will will get till then.

Look just listen to us more experience guys and trust us that Phoenix is not a bad ship. You are just new and dont know how to play the ships that is all. just keep at it and you will get better. never just put the blame on a ship.
