    I still think, 2 tiers difference in division is still stupid. And, the team without CV had quite superior firepower. I saw enough battles, where the team without CV won easily. Here, they had even two T6 cruisers with (hopefully) AA consumable. If the Zuiho is OP as hell, fine, the Zuiho is the problem. With the right tactics (yes even in random) I think, the MM is fine in this battle (hell the CV team even had a Kawachi).
  2. 1) BB ... you need tons of awareness, what is going on around you, because you are priority target for DD & TB, while being set on fire, and if you are at the wrong place, you need ages to get somewhere else, 2) DD ... no HP pool, prone to critical damage, only defence is stealth. If you want meaningful (not spray & pray) results, you need good planning and targeting choice. Additionally, planes can ruin your day big time. 3) CA ... good guns, reasonable maneuvrable, good enough HP pool... and AA panic button (on later tiers)... I think, they are the most flexible, and thus, a bit easier as DD, however, only barely. CV, I don't know, never played one.

    That is unfortunately wrong. If you have both skill and upgrade you get to 12*0.95*0.93 = 10.6% fire chance. It is not %points it is real percentages.

    Uhm... because of statements from Supertester Shanara.... 3% chance of fire increase ist not 5+3 = 8% but 5% * 1.03 = 5.15% chance of fire... Prove me wrong... but that is how I was told. Edit: See my post below.

    Short analysis... I looked at yourt stats in IJN DDs. Your hitrate is OK, however, especially at low tiers it is too low. On the other hand, your average damage is very low. This means you fire either at low health targets or too few torp spreads per battle. Your survival rate is low and you have next to no capture points. So my guess would be... your playstyle is off. Do you often head straight at the enemy, launch one or two spreads and then you get wrecked? You should consider reading / watching some DD guides, because, I do have the feeling, it's you and not the DDs.

    Yes, true, however, when the battle has developed itself and after 8-10 or so minutes you are still off the action... I would start heading up and add my firepower to the equation. The question here would be, if the OP encountered any enemy planes, that checked the positiion of the CV, ands probed again afterwards, or if the CV was just left alone. You can analyze the situation accordingly and act. So, I do not think it is really neccessary to sit still for the whole game.
  11. From my experience, T7 is now quite healthy populated. T8 still struggles a bit.... so overall ~1 month for T7... guess one or two more vor T8/T9.... T10 will then take much more, before it is really well populated.

    That is btw also why I in my IJN DD allways ask for CA backup at the start of a battle, when I am going to head directly at the enemy. If I encounter an enemy DD, I like to have some big guns covering me.

    Premium ships have reduced servicing costs and lower repair costs. So seemingly the Yubari has nil servicing costs... this is however not the case for higher tier premiums.

    Most convenient thing with a hosting site would be, that I do not need to take screenshots of all after battle report pages. Would also like to have that.

  18. Well... just as a question... how long did you sit in the line for that battle? Because I do have a hunch, that T9 is still massively underpopulated... so this breaks MM quite often...

    Seemingly no need for plunging fire... https://youtu.be/WgLsvV-Dfv4?t=209 iChase shows here, how he penetrates the citadel of a Murmansk with his Gremy at point blank range consistently... I was really surprised.
  24. Last stand is a blast for DD... also when your rudder get jammed, you can still control you way of exit. Cannot count the number of times, this really saved me in tricky situations (especially, when enemy DD involved). I can also recommend Last Stand for lower tier CA that are also prone to rudder/engine damage.
  25. True also for BBs that are "last to be alive" against a last DD. I had several occasions, where 2 or 3 BBs survived, were capping, and I was last player in DD on my team... I can directly tell you, which of these BBs, had situational awareness, because they reacted allways when I had them spotted, the ones without were more or less sitting ducks.
