It is about the T4 and T5 cruisers that do have access to Hydroacustic Search by today but do not have AA skill.

I would also expect, that WG is monitoring the overall effect on the economy and might tweak it in future.

Interesting thing is, that the value of the fire chance reduction is only aparent, if you know the base fire chance of the ship (which is nowhere to be found yet). In the RU post, the state the Fuso has 0.76... so with both skill and upgrade this would be 0.64. So, the Fuso would reduce every fire chance by 36%. When you look at US DD with pyro skill, this would be (5% + 3%)*0.64 = 5.12% per shell fire chance against Fuso (which is more or less allready one of the most fire-proof ships). So with the T4 pyro skill is not completely mitigated by upgrade + T2 skill... which is not very suprising... question remains... is fire prevention useful? I doubt it, while pyro skill may be quite helpfull.

Complete details in the link, in my post above your's. Base shell fire chance is additive with the increased fire chance skill. Fire prevention is additive with the base fire resistence of the target ship and is then multiplied with the fire chance of the shell.

The more useful part is the 2.5 km torp spotting (I think, this can be further increased with the captain's skill to 3 km) which is a huge torp spotting bubble... you can evade with ease, with that kind of warning.

Afaik in WoT the support helps you with "accidentially" sold premium tanks once a year or so (or if they are in a very friendly mood). So maybe it works, if you ask nicely.

Actually it is T4 + T5 Phoenix and Kuma also got it. So, yeah, I will look, if this somehow lowers my results in Iso- and Minekaze.

Again, read more closely. It is less reload speed (thus lower ROF) and less aim time (thus faster turret rotation).

Did you disable write protection first? Else, try Aslains Modpack, there is an Replay Enabler included.

When I am observing my own battles, and what is shown here, I get more and more the impression, that Carrier + DD platoons can severely mess up the MM process...

Well. I have a rather crappy machine, but I never encounter any lag. Only thing that my old machine struggles with is the bad data load from HDD. But never ever server problems.

Unfortunately, this Clemson was the first to die... my team noobed that out quite thoroughly... you just cannot win them all...
