We had this in CBT, highly inflated economy. Now in OBT (which will seamlessly go into full release, without progress wipe) we are here to test the real economy. So no enhanced income.

Especially IJN DDs at T7/8 are far from useless. It is just more challenging to play.

Let's say, you only grind 3 lines... but reached T6 in all of them... so in principle, you have T5 and T6 ship from all three lines... and your friend starts a new account or a new line of ships... then you allready have T5 + T1 or T2...

I guess he does not want to pay a dime, so he only takes into consideration, what is 4free. And with that, he advances through the tiers by selling low tier ships, and then, his buddy with only low tier wants to division up, so, they just do, no matter the tier spread... I can undersatand, that people want to play in division with their friends. But being egoists and ruin the experience for the rest of the team is also an issue...

Learn, how smoke and spotting works. And yes, when 3 battleships are totally stupid, the destroyer will sink all of them. However, when using something that is called tactics and situational awareness, 3 battleships have no big issues with a single destroyer. Seriously, this game is not just pointing your guns at some other ship and pew pew pew away... you need to play smart, even (or especially) in a big lumbering battleship.

If you would have read the patchnotes for the latest patch, you would know, that all T4 and T5 cruisers (except Yubari ofc) got the Hydroacustic Search (for free). It is not useless but very situational. The increased torp spotting range is helpful for screening purposes, and renders you almost immune to torps for 40 secs, because you have more than enough reaction time. On the other hand, the ship spotting (3.5 km) is not hindered by line of sight, so, you even spot ships through islands. Just encountered a battle, where I fought a Murmansk and a Phoenix in my Minekaze... I tried to ambush them around an island, just to realize, that I got detected behind the island corner. Situational but might help.

I think the economy runs quite smoothly, WoT felt more of a grind. At the moment I have researched T8 in IJN DD, T6 in IJN CA, T4 in IJN BB, T3 in both USN DD and CA. I have bought all ships up to T8 IJN DD, T5 IJN CA, T3 IJN BB, T2 USN DD and CA. All ships are more or less fully upgraded, and I never sold a single ship. And that I have managed in less then 400 games total.

Fubuki is fun. I love her. 6 guns with 25 sec turning is also quite nice in comparison to T6/T7. And 3x3 tubes also rock. Go for it, it's worth it.

The skills are organized in tiers (1 to 5). You need one (1) skill from each tier to advance to the next. So, if you want a T3 skill, you need at least one (1) tier 1 and one (1) tier 2 skill.
