I was under the impression that demo expert only increases the base chance by 3%. So 5% are increased to 5.15%. Did that change in the last 6 month? Because that was the mechanic mid 2015. There are a lot of topics about that to find. That is why demo expert and all kinds of fire prevention are basically useless.

6 torp hits, 3 ships sunk, and only 60k credits seems a lot like co-op.

Would be maybe a great Idea to put down some dashed lines on the surface (like edge of battlefield markings) where the smoke is. So you have a clear visual hint where the smoke actually is.

Playing fullscreen, I sometimes lose keyboard control when using the ALT key to select enemy aircraft as priority target. In this case I need to press ALT again a couple of times to regain control. -
And again the question, why do we need a game mechanic that is obviously considered so annoying, that WG implemented this flag compensation?

It is however not a really good argument that there are other factors I cannot influence, which influence the result of a match, so it is ok for detonation to stay. Lucky MM? Yes, the devs could change that a bit by adding some kind of ELO-based MM... the whole blabla you can find on the WoT forums since years now... it is however not really a game mechanic, that you as a player can directly influence. AFKers? Yeah, cannot help it... no way to get rid of them (except by punishing frequent afk'ing)... So, why keep something like detonation in, that adds (even when it's only a small amount) to the luck driven randomness of ingame events without making the game in itself better? Wouldn't it be more convenient to reduce everything that does not involve understanding and application of the game mechanics?

I know. It is not much. But it does not add anything but anoyance to the game. Kartoffelmos is right, just because it is rare, doesn't make it a good game mechanic.

Having detonation mechanism that adds nothing useful to the gameplay and then adding a no-detonation flag is likewise stupid. I still wait for an explanation what detonation adds to the gameplay that makes the game better if it stays.

It is pure random event that can quite heavily destroy match balance. Just encountered a game where a single squad of torpedo bombers managed early in the game to get one single torp hit on one of our T7 highest tier BBs and detonated its magazine. First blood and with one single random hit dealt several tenth of thousands of damage. That is not fun and no skill and completely useless... we won nevertheless but it was just rediculous. I'd also opt for detonation removal.

Dishing out citadel hits with this nice little boat is just fun... so much rage, when you score up to 5 crits in 2-3 solvos against enemy cruisers... I just hate fighting Clevelands... that is PITA

Have a Win 8.1 MSI Laptop with Realtec Audio Drivers and SoundBlaster Cinema Support Programs. Since 0.4.0.1 I encounter stuttering sound when gun fire sounds or voice is played. Engine and explosion sounds seem finde. I do have installed all recent available drivers. All other games I play atm (Fallout 3, The Witcher, Borderlands, STALKER, Metro 2033 Redux) work totally fine. Any suggestions?

I hope you realized I was talking about the red and black Reichskriegsflagge with iron cross instead of swastika, visible in the screenshots above. -
Just to make the numbers right: 5.9 km base -10% for the T5 skill -3% for the camo paint 5.9*0.9*0.97 = 5.15 km

I guess it is the final flag, because it is the same in WoT... also Quickybaby showed that flag on pics from GC. -
As can be seen in recent GC screenshots and ingame screenshots of players encountering the German ships, WG decided to use the Reichskriegsflagge with iron cross replacement, that is also used in WoT.

Well there are hints, that Hindenburg (together with Friedrich der Große) was one of the suggestions for the first H-class ship, but Götz von Berlichingen or Ullrich von Hutten were the suggestions Hitler made.
