Yes, I am just very very polite at the moment. ;)
-
Thanks so far. So is this an translation error on the German and Spanish web site?
-
Yes, I didn't mention the 1 point reset if you have more than SA in T1, because that is always the same for all languages. However, the announcement postings from the WG staff regarding the changes after PTS are the same in all 5 languages I posted above. There they all say, that "only SA" gets changes to BoS. Update: No skil reset, but one-week-long discount and some small amount of doubloons as compensation. http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/57360-changes-to-update-059-after-public-test/page__st__120__pid__1182380#entry1182380

Interestingly enough, the initial WG staff post "Changes to Update 0.5.9 after Public Test" is the same in all languages. So no matter if EN, DE, FR, ES, PL, it always says SA gets changed to BoS.
-
At the moment the English, French and Polish patch notes say SA -> BoS The German and Spanish patch notes say total reset
-
Interesting... the patch notes in English, French and Polish have the switching from SA to BoS, while the German and Spanish notes have the full reset... that is weird...

Not playing that much (just joined back in recently) but I am still around since CBT and I still like WoWS a lot. Thanks for a positive topic once in a while!

IJN cruiser captain skill level 4: DE vs SE?
Nethraniel replied to James1's topic in Newcomers' Section
Edit: jeez... my reading comprehension is totally f***ed up today... I wrote complete bs here... sorry for that... Edit2: Agree with the post below... if the question is DE or SE, DE all the way for IJN CA. -
Did you buy any permanent camouflages?
Nethraniel replied to Sub_Eleven's topic in General Discussion
Jip... since my last post the number of people voting has almost doubled, and it is still 1/3 of the players who are willing to pay for permanent camo. So quite a good source of money for WG. -
No, you do not get any penalties for leaving to port after having been sunk.
-
Maybe summer holidays in some central and eastern european countries? At least here in Germany all the pupils have them at the moment.
-
That is something I am complaining about since CBT... splash (module) damage without HP damage and detonation (and in lesser part permanent turret incapacitation) are just annoying game mechanics...
-
I have the strange feeling I lost 5-10 points of IQ while reading the OP...

Interesting... only 69 votes... so not really significant... however, 35% paying for perma-camo, even though it's rather expensive... so seems to be quite lucrative for WG -
In WOT the skills do not have that big of an effect as in WOWS. It is to prevent having the possibility to take 2 T5 skills.

nope... not a dime... too expensive -
The "Situational Awareness" is gone...
Nethraniel replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
As it is now just a feature and not a skill anymore (not tied to a specific captain), I would assume that it is simply that, always active. However, that is my assumption. -
So?

I like the changes. However, I do not like the disparity between having only SA in T1 (so I am forced to take BoS) and having multiple T1 skills, which gives me one (1) skill point refund. It just feels like being forced to respec for real money, if I do not want to have BoS in the first place.
-
I agree with the other people here. I really like all the changes, and I think, free SA for everyone is OK as is. However, captains with already high skills and only SA are forced to take BoS without a choice, which I find somehow a bit unfair in comparison to a freed up skill point for captains with more than one T1 skill. It really feels like being forced to respec my captains for money. So either a choice which new T1 skill I get or a full skill reset would be most appreciated.

Losing turrets permanently to enemy fire is already massively annoying in itself... so losing crew...

The "Situational Awareness" is gone...
Nethraniel replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Jip, that would do just fine, I guess... or maybe every ship with sub-140mm guns gets BFT... or maybe even ships with 140+mm guns but reasonable good AA get also BFT... hmm... so maybe the full reset would still be better -

Yes, and nobody 'demands' anything else. It is not about being OP or getting something for free, it is just, that for a fair number of captains, the forced BoS skill is just a wasted skillpoint, you are forced to have without choice. For my IJN DDs it is always the choice between SA and BFT, where SA clearly was the superior choice. Now, that I cannot (!) take SA anymore (because hey, free stuff, everyone get's it), I am forced to a choice, I would not voluntarily take. Only option I have left now, is either grind out an suboptimally skilled captain or retrain for real money... and that is, what players critisize here.
