Change the reporting system, it's being abused
Lemasive replied to Lemasive's topic in General Discussion
I mean, are people entirely unable to read what is written? I've said several times I consider Random games PvE, and I don't care at all what wr/score I have in them. Yet someone like you comes a long and asks why I don't care about advice in a game mode I don't even consider PvP, as it's nothing but a grind. I consider ranked, and clan battles to be the only place where you actually try to do your best. Lemasive - I don't care about random games Random dude - This is how you get better score in random games Lemasive - Ok, I still don't care to perform better in what I consider a PvE grind, the thread is not about that. Another random dude - Why are you not listening, he is telling you to get better stats in random games!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus... -
Change the reporting system, it's being abused

This entire discussion is irrelevant to the topic, I'm not interested in performing well in a PvE situation where I grind something. You're not bringing any new information to the table, only preaching to the believers. This thread is about the abuse of the report system, if you want to discuss how you farm noobs in random games while you PvE you're welcome to do so in another thread. -
Change the reporting system, it's being abused

Right, so your drawing conclusions from limited information. I've never in my life tried to play this game for the stats, it's just irrelevant for me in a PvE scenario, like random battles is. So from the start I don't have the same goals in this game as you might have, saying that I don't care if I'm doing poorly in what I consider to be a PvE match. It's just a grind, and I play this game for fun sometimes alone and sometimes with friends. Now, the Yamato I played as my first tier 10 with secondary spec and pushed in for the hell of it. DDs be damned, CV be damned. I enjoyed the brawl even if we didn't win. Again, this mindset is different from yours. Now, what am I doing in the thunderer? Well I'm using it to grind money, not stats. Yet, I even spot in that ship, so I don't know why you would assume I only "snipe". Nor did you find that I have a Kurfurst, and as far as I know it's a tier 10BB. Oh and btw, since the patch I'm at 65% wr with BBs, thanks to my new playstyle. Edit : Might as well share my kurfurst stats in ranked, it seems obvious that I don't care about random and just a little bit more in ranked. But hey, have fun farming randoms in 3 man divisions. -

Play 10 matches where you go in at 16km in random games in the start and show me how well you're doing. I'd love to see it. -

The Yamato is easily citadelled from almost every angle if you know where to aim, not to mention super slow turret traverse and the ship handles like a sea cow on land. Nothing about the Yamato tells me that it should "push" in the same way a Kurfurst or Kremlin can do. It's obvious that you need to push with your ships when you have an advantage on one side, or you need to help out. However you are welcome to show me a video of you playing 10 games with the Yamato where you push in it and do so successfully, and you should do it solo not in a division because I play Tier 10 almost exclusively solo. -

First of all, the Yamato can tank AP dmg quite well, thats true. However due to the extremely slow movement and turning rate the Yamato is one of the eaisest BBs to burn down, and in a HE- sniper meta that will happen a lot of the time. If I choose to engage the enemy my way with the Yamato I win far more battles than if I go midrange with it, if I want to push with the team or eat damage I will pick another BB. Your remark about cruisers and DDs are quite silly, DDs and cruisers have many tools to avoid getting damaged and can deal with torps, incoming shots and positioning much better than the Yamato. Considering I win a lot more in the Yamato now, than before the patch shows that I'm doing it right. If all you care about is winning. You're welcome to push with your Yamato, i've seen some of those players in the last couple of days and they always go to port first. I'm gonna keep going around 20-24km, until there are less ships and then fight. Meanwhile I will dogde shots from other BBs that are shooting me, so the tanking is obviously already happening. -

I hit a CV at 30km with the Yamato, 6 ricochets. I assume the CV has a lot of protection from long range shots. -

You're kidding right, you just said what the "role" for a BB was. Do you think Yamato should push with poor armor, no AA to speak, slow turret traverse and low maneuverability? Obviously not, yet in this fight I get reported when I get 2 kills and we are leading 11-3, because I'm not suiciding into 3 BBs and a DD alone. Do you play the Kurfurst the same way you play a Thunderer? Obviously not, yet you are talking about fulfilling your "role" as a BB while they are very diverse. I bet you a Stalingrad can tank more than a Thunderer, but your narrow minded "intellect" can't even assimilate basic data. If you don't think the BBs fill the exact same role, then why are you whining about a sniper BB playing as a sniper? -

Your assumption is flawed, it's based on your subjective experience and induction. Instead of asking for specific events, you assume the worst and have 0 charitability for the argument. Edit : Not to mention that your mind is extremely narrow minded saying that all BBs must play the same. -

What the [edited]are you talking about lol

Seriously, my playstyle in my Yamato is to take heat and get deep into action forcing enemies to reveal themselves and spending a lot of time on trying to get me down. I Basically stop 4-6 ships for at least 2-5 minutes while they are getting punished hard for it on other sides or just getting lit up by cruisers behind me. Yet due to the angles I have to hold and not being able to dish out much dmg I am somehow not rewarded for doing what a BB should do. Seriously WG I might not have played for like 8 months, but start giving out exp and credits for blocking dmg in BBs.

Battleships Battlecruisers Cruisers Light Cruisers Gunboats DDs Light DDs All to achieve better balance in games, and ranked/teams

There should be a short delay on the repair perhaps 10 seconds and it USN BBs should have the timer it is active reduced to 10 seconds. Thoughts?

How hard is the thought of a ship flanking to force the enemy team to either take damage from side/behind or having to turn and showing broadsides to your allies to get inside most peoples skulls? I play for my team almost always, what baffles me is how I create opportunities in so many cases but most are way to daft to exploit them. Why is it so damn hard for people to understand that a move that might seem stupid to them actually can give them a very easy victory if they push on it. I guess what I am asking is, am I a fool for actually trying to educate people in WoWs about strategy and tactics instead of clumping up one one mechaball and just duke it out best ships win?
-
What kind of players are they, and why do they think they are good?
-
And how good they are, why do you always compare the total WR of ALL people playing the ship? This has almost nothing to do with the capability of a ship and how strong it CAN be in the right hands. You must understand that something that might seem to be underpowered in the right hands can violate everything you ever thought about that class/ship/hero in w/e game. Why is the WR of ALL the players in that ship relevant and why should the ships be balanced to that stat?

I think it would be very useful if you could just rightclick your abilities to alert in what radius you will use for example AA-skill Hydro Smoke Radar I think this could help teamplay alot, since you have to manually type it now.

Well this little gem in the ranked, is awesome because I can actually tell by the position of my teams spawn if the other team has a colorado where it will spawn and how we can rush it without him/her being able to get away. I think we have done this 9 times now, and it works everytime. I know there are Colorado cptns out there that know what I am talking about. Especially in those games with just one CA and you solo spawn way from your battlegroup.. Is this supposed to be fun?
